I need deep-tissue work. Kathye is not a big person, but have no fear, if you need deep tissue work, she will give you exactly that! I know Kathye does many other types of massage, but I haven't tried them. If I wanted to, I know where I'd go first! ;-) Her studio is perfect. She has decorated it beautifully with things that obviously mean something to her. It's quiet and she makes sure that you're comfortable before she starts. Today was my third or fourth visit and she even remembered that I needed extra blankets for cold, (and painfully crampy), feet! Yes, it's a small thing, but isn't that the point?? I have had numerous Thai massages at several different places and they all blow Swedish massage and places like Massage Envy out of the water. This was probably the most stretching I've ever had and Kira really worked hard on the areas I requested. Both she and the receptionist were very nice, they requested pertinent medical history before the massage, the facility was very clean and the environment was relaxing. The only negative is that there is a 3% fee for using a credit card but that's pretty minor. I could tell Kira is experienced because she was very confident and efficient and frequently asked how I was doing with the pressure and stretching.
