The customer service was wonderful and they answered all my questions. I got the Iced Spanish Latte and the RSM toast and it had a great portions. It tasted amazing and I loved the chili oil they put on top. Would love to try their pastries and smoothies next time.

I have tried Hanna's several times now and love their food, so my expectations for this place was already high before coming here. Safe to say, Haute met many of those expectations! I initially tried their Turkey Pesto sandwich with chips and got a side of sweet potato fries and the strawberry glow smoothie. It was pretty packed when we went on a random Tuesday, so we had to scour for just a table to sit at. A number of the tables were left dirty, so we ended up sitting down and cleaning out own table of crumbs and moving the trash/plates onto another dirty table. Our food came out pretty quickly, and I was surprised by the portions. Here is a break down: Turkey Pesto: I asked for no onions and no tomatoes and it came out perfectly. The bread was light and crispy and the flavors came together so well. Since my first visit, I have already come in several times to get this sandwich again. I would say it is on the pricier side, though. I have came back to try it with waffle fries and the upcharge to switch is $4, which I think is honestly too much for like 10 fries. Strawberry Glow Smoothie: I did like this smoothie, but $15 for a smoothie is also a bit wild. I already think $8-9 for a small smoothie is not worth it, but since it is a Erewohn dupe, I just gave it a try. Nothing too crazy special, and wouldn't get it again despite everyone else walking out with one of these. Sweet Potato Fries: I came the first time and got these and remembered them being so good and very well seasoned. I came back to try it again, and it did not taste the same. Barely any seasoning, and not even salted at all. I probably would prefer the waffle fries over these now. Overall, service at the counter was great, but there really should be more people helping out in the patio or dining area so there are enough tables for customers to eat at. I barely found a table before my food came out. I would like to return to try some more drinks and maybe other food items. If you are going to come here, just expect to spend at least $30 for your meal!

The quality of the food speaks for itself, but what is most impressive is the smooth operation of this hot new cafe. The space itself is small, and the cafe gets busy---- but there is plenty of seating and even during peak hours, there's barely a line. His team is incredibly efficient and quick. From the second I walked in, I was welcomed. The place is spotless-- as soon as there is an empty table, a staff member cleans it. It is clear that the team at Diotima takes a lot of pride in this little bakery cafe. The cappuccino was delicious, and the price point was great for the area. The croissant was excellent--- not too sweet, and that beautiful combination of buttery soft inside and flaky outside that demonstrates how fresh it is. I'm very impressed by Diotima, and wish Kian and the team so much success! I look forward to taking my friends here soon :)

I've heard all the buzz about this place and I have had it bookmarked since owner and chef Kian Moltaji first opened. I am happy to say that I finally had a chance to go. I am literally kicking myself for not having gone sooner because of ALL the bakeries I have been to...I can honestly say that this is by far my absolute favorite. They are open Wednesday through Sunday only so keep that in mind. Chef Kian, offers French pastries that will have you wanting more with the very first bite. The bakery not only smells amazing but it's clean inside and decorated with some pretty live plants. I mean, the bakery made me smile just walking in. Don't know. There are several small tables that line two side walls, just perfect for some coffee and chill with a friend. What I ordered. 1) almond & raspberry danish 5/5 - OMG. I love almond desserts and pastries but I am always so hesitant to take the first bite because they're usually crazy sweet. Not this. This was crispy, flaky, moist, tasty and perfectly sweetened. 2) caramelized almond croissant 5/5 - another super good almond pastry. You'd think being that it is caramelized that this would be cavity inducing but it is far from that. Just the right sweetness. 3) guava cheese 5/5 - really good. What I liked was the soft sweetness of the cheese which usually overpowers cheese pasties everywhere else. 4) chocolate croissant - I didn't get to try this. The kids devoured it so quickly I didn't even have a chance. They did enjoy it very much and had to split the two between them since it's a fairly large pastry. They asked for me to buy more of it, so I'm guessing it must've been a 5/5 for them too. 5) pistachio raspberry croissant 5/5 - this is amazing. No wonder they run out of this all the time. 6) caramelized pistachio raspberry 5/5 - similar to the croissant. This is also very delicious. This one also ran out the first time I went. 7) Nutella 5/5 - I honestly cannot remember the name of this pastry other than it has Nutella in it. This was a huge hit with the kids. The kids are already bugging about going as soon as they open again to which I will happily oblige. I need to snag me some of the pistachio pastries next time. I hear those are amazing. So happy to have them so close to home.

When I walked in, a kind lady greeted me and asked me what I would like to get. I told her that I am visiting my grandmother and what she recommends that are not too sweet and easy to chew for an elder. Everything that she recommended was delicious! She even gave couple of pastries on the house for my grandma to try which was so sweet and kind. When I got to my grandma's house, she tried a little bit of everything and enjoyed it! I could see if from the smile on her face. That day was the last day I saw my grandma well before she went to hospital 5 days later and passed away 3 days after that. But I am so happy that this bakery and especially the kind owner, gave me a chance to see my grandma enjoying the pastries and being all happy. I will never forget that day and I owe it to this bakery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Despite all the negative reviews I decided to try Cookie Plug since my family and I love cookies!…read more The cookies here are big and thick almost like hockey pucks. Seriously at first I mistakenly thought the name of the store was Cookie Puck (instead of plug) Lol!! It would be a fitting name. When I arrived around 4:30pm (they open at noon) they still had all their flavors and the cookies were fresh being baked that day. The cookie style here is a soft, thick buttery cookie. Some reviews complain about the grease And that's a fair critique since all my cookies were a bit greasy - but that's from all the butter inside them which also makes them soft. If you ask (when I was here the employee protectively offered) they will warm up the cookies for you in the oven which gives them an ooey gooey taste which was amazing! They also have a fridge of drinks like milk & chocolate milk. The best part about Cookie Plug is the unique variety of cookies. I got the S'mores (called Firecracker even though there's nothing spicy about it), a Red Velvet Oreo stuffed cookie called Good Luv and The Pink Elephant which is Strawberry Cheesecake favored and ended up being my favorite despite me traditionally preferring S'mores cookies. Overall I'd give the cookie taste a 3.5. The cookies are 600 calories each and cost $5 a cookie which is a gut punch x2! They do have specials and I got a 4 pack of cookies for $17. Too bad there's no bulk discount on the calories!!! Will Cookie Plug replace Milk & Cookies as my top cookie store in OC? No! But at the same time, I don't think it deserves the low reviews as the cookies are good (albeit not great), the ambiance is fun & hip and the service was friendly!

The purple shade that i asked for was a tiny bit off shade and the bows i brought in to be put on was way too many. This is exactly what i tried to meet with her in person about. And consequently the details were off. If you are not too detailed oriented or too refined on taste this is an on custom cake place. Very basic.
