While they're friendly…read morepeople, their work quality and lack of follow-through are incredibly frustrating, and they don't stand behind their work. Last December, a light under warranty failed on our lanai. It took multiple requests before they finally came out in February 2025 to look at it. They said they'd bring a replacement the following week, but that never happened. They blamed the delay on the manufacturer, but after 45 days, I called the manufacturer myself, and they said they had plenty in stock. April came and went with still no light, though Dan Allen said they were "on it." We returned in November and still had no light, and now they don't respond to texts or calls. So disappointing... do yourself a favor and avoid the headaches by staying away from this company.

My major concern, after spending around $6,000, is lack of customer service with missing/wrong components sent from manufacturer on three lights. She was adamant they would not do anything that it was my responsibility to content the manufacturer. I then asked to speak to store manager and he reiterated the same song and dance. Inconceivable to me that you do not try to help your customer - the customer that bought in your store, not directly from a manufacturer Which can happen and will with the other four remaining items I need. I won't ever buy from Lighting First again. Consider your purchases wisely, there are others that appreciate your business.

They looked more like outdoor patio dining tables. Glass was only 3/8" thick versus 1/2", as well as with light weight tubular epoxy coating metal base versus the solid stainless or finished hardwood for a typical high end table. While quality was decent, prices were on the premium side, yet staff wasn't receptive to engaging in serious negotiating. Staff was friendly, but tending towards snobish. Perhaps I went too early in the snowbird season when furniture demand is peaking and such small boutique store owners are charging what they believe the market will bear. May try later towards the end of snowbird season when the time has come to clear out last year's trendy inventory. Like the furniture, just not the price.
