We are new homeowners in Bend and you might recognize me by now as I am leaving a ton of reviews to…read morespread the word all over town for all the elite professionals that have helped us turn our new house into our new home. We needed to paint the inside of our house, specifically our living room and our kitchen after it got remodeled. Our beloved handyman Parker suggested Dan Stephenson of Allied Painting and Renovations to get the job done. Dan was quick to respond, and we scheduled an appointment for him to come visit us and give us a quote. Dan was great to talk to and easy to trust. We can right away see that he is detail-oriented and extremely transparent. He was able to put everything in writing and send us over an email with a quote that we thought was fair. We were both busy with ongoing projects, but we found a timeframe a few weeks later that worked for both of us. Dan showed up earlier in the week of our starting date to prep and look at our existing paint to see what can be used. We tremendously appreciated him working so late that day and as a bonus, he asked if we can start the project a couple of days early. My roommate and I prepared the space as much as we could to facilitate the process. Dan and his associate painter Ellison Oden showed up on time every day for four days, treated our home as if it was their own, and covered every single little detail. They didn't cut any corners. They covered and moved our furniture with care. They covered our kitchen counters, pantry, fridge, microwave, and cabinets. They protected our floors and worked meticulously around power sockets, fans, lights, and lamps. They even fixed a couple of water damaged areas in our hallway. They were punctual, polite, professional, honest, and simply the best at what they do. Dan's communication skills and level of competency are off the charts. He walks you through every decision to guarantee satisfaction. He always lets you know when he has to leave the job site for any reason. They are exceptionally clean and organized. At the end of every shift, they would make sure the place is livable as much as possible by cleaning up and stacking their tools. They put everything back the way it was after they were completely finished. We couldn't be happier with the painting job that these two gentlemen provided. More importantly, they are great human beings. A skill can be taught, but true character with a genuine sense of care is what we look for the most. Dan and Ellison were simply perfect. They checked every single box of what you would hope to get in the professionals you trust to paint the inside of your house. They are busy, but they are worth the wait. Do not hesitate to reach out to Dan if you need a painting job or any type of home renovation. Give him a chance to wow you the way that he impressed us. Easy FIVE STARTS!

Bend Paint paints new construction for builders and apparently the quality that they advertise on…read moretheir website (Why Choose Bend Painting?) is reserved for private paint jobs and not new construction for builders. Our home looks like a cross-eyed one-armed 5-year old primate painted it. We'd spoken to the builder about the horrid paint job and were told "it's within acceptable minimum standards" and in the next breath we were asked "can you see it from 10 feet away in natural light?" There's nothing about "minimum standards" and standing "10 feet away in natural light" on Bend Painting's website. Bend Painting, after all, advertises itself as "Bend Oregon's Premier Painting Company" So we called Bend Paint because this paint job is NOT representational of the quality of work they advertise all over their website. Bend paint hasn't returned the calls.

These guys painted our custom built home and paid no attention to detail when prepping their work…read more All finish nails showed through the painted trim. When we pointed this out, they agreed to fix it. However that was not the case and still are showing. I have built 3 homes and never had a worse interior trim paint job. They agreed to do additional work for our builder and they were in dispute over the amount they were paid because of extras that were not done with written change orders. We offered to pay a bonus at the end of the job if they fixed the issues we saw and when they didn't fix the trim we told them we were done with them and, of course, weren't paying them any more money than they were already paid by our builder. Not even six months later, we had tons of cracking and caulking failing at the joining edges of the trim. They agreed to come out to look at it and also had their paint rep from Miller paints come look at what was happening. The rep agreed the caulking was failing or they didn't apply it thick enough to have elasticity. Dylan, the owner, initially said he would come back and warranty the work but they were busy. We waited patiently for months, asking intermittently, but they delayed us. Finally, Dylan got Back to me and said they weren't going to warranty the work they completed prior because we essentially didn't pay the bonus. The contract clearly stated all changes to work that impacted the cost would be done in writing and that they warrantied there work for a year(the standard). However , Dylan's word means nothing and half his crew were baked stoners who could barely talk when they got dropped off from lunch because they were so high. Since this, I have research their license which has been suspended. We are filing a contractors board complaint and he was dodgy to not accept the certified mail notice of filing. Do yourself a favor, don't use these guys. They have no pride in their own work and don't care about their rep. These guys contacted me and said my photos weren't taken from normal viewing angles so it was being too picky. I've added some more, you be the judge.
