My old golf cart broke down, so I went to Sundance looking for another workhorse for my Ranch. Found a good old cart there that fit my needs and the owner said he would deliver the one I had just purchased and haul back my broken down one so that they could fix it for me. Highly recommend- the entire crew at Sundance were professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Overall, these guys were a great team - Jack over at La Jolla, and Luke, Tony and Jurell (sp?) in El Cajon, were the best. I started working with one of their competitors and ended up with Sundance. Gave me a Black Friday discount long after the day - paperwork was done quick and easy - mostly electronic - and the cart was serviced and delivered WAY ahead of normal schedule to meet a birthday wish. The cart - legally a Low Speed Vehicle, (which THEY registered at the DMV for me) had some imperfections from the manufacturer, which they addressed, mostly without my asking. The price was higher in this region than other places in the country, but it's Cali and I would have lost days going to get it somewhere else, let alone fuel costs. Honestly, I was looking for a used cart, but really, the new ones are selling for not much more than used LSV's in our area. AND I understand that the used ones have NO warranties. Financing was an easy apply online and approval was quick - at ZERO percent interest - though you will pay some fees for that. (Effective rate was less than 1% even figuring fees! Let's talk about the LSV - so cool. We got the Evolution Maverick D5 2+2 and couldn't be happier. It has better Apple Car Play than my Ram Truck - wireless! And every bell and whistle you could ask for, from a back-up camera for my bride / girls to a color changing sound bar that rocks the house via Bluetooth. So far, it's 10/10. Customers can be pretty demanding---and I'm one of them. I had them build a cart that Arnold himself would be proud to drive. Double lift, 25 inch mud tires and custom removable top. Everything was done perfectly, and as they were building it they worked with me to make changes as I saw fit. On top of that when there were little tiny minor things that needed to be taken care of - - that's when you tend to get lost in the crowd. Boston Strong!! -This review is long overdue!! My cart was delivered in April.- My experience with Kelly, Luke, Jeff and Addison can not be matched. I wish their customer service skills could be taught to the rest of the world! First of all their patience with me.... I changed my color, tires, rims, dash, rear seats, etc... quite a few times before I finally made a decision. My color is custom, and the colors are meaningful to me. ONE of the reasons it is so special to me is because it's the Boston Strong colors. See, I'm a nurse and I was volunteering on 4-15-13 at the finish line when the bombs went off. So needless to say Boston Strong is extremely personal to me. That being said, family back home told me Boston Strong belongs in Boston, not Coronado. Well, someone from Coronado spotted my cart in La Jolla show room (they put it there while waiting for me to come out west) and that person was told a little bit about my carts story. He came back to the showroom and gave Kelly a Boston Strong sticker for my cart!! I cried like a baby when Jeff handed it to me when he delivered my cart! There are some really amazing people in this world. Also, my dad helped me pick my color. It was popular back in the year I was born. My cart has a lot of sentimental value to me. I'm in love with it!! I've never loved anything materialistic in my life!! Ok, back to Sundance folks... Kelly totally helped me design it. I could NEVER have done it without her. They are VERY quick to respond to emails and calls. I had a couple of very minor issues at first (I've only had it for 2 months) and they fixed it immediately. Kelly kept me posted while my cart was being built, sent me pictures, asked me if I wanted to come in and see the paint job.... I can't say enough. I honestly felt like I was their only customer.... I'm going to leave a 2 star review in this one. I called few months back to schedule a service call to have my controller tested. I was cleaning the engine bay and believe to have got some water in it as i now get nothing out of it. I described to the tech when scheduling what my issues were. They were able to squeeze me in same week for a service call at my house. I don't think it was even 30 minutes prior that they had canceled on me. They claimed that because I had a Dakota Lithium battery in my car that it was a liability for them. Odd but ok I was simply asking to have the car looked at. I was quite frustrated with the last minute cancellation they had offered to let me call back at any time to speak to a tech and help get me on track, I was greatly appreciative of that. I called today explained the situation and what had transpired in the past and said I was looking to speak to the tech. I did not get to speak to a tech and received the same bull**** response, "can't work on your car because xyz" well I was promised some assistance in the future if needed for a tech and I got nothing. I'm assuming because the 3500$ battery and charger wasn't bought from them is the only reason they had not wanted to truly give me any support. I'm in the tech industry and going the extra mile is how you win over customers, I didn't bat an eye at their ridiculous labor rates either I just wanted my cart right and they couldn't help me out. I eventually got ahold of the guys at Cart Mart in San Marcos, great guys they were able to get me on the books at my home here in Point Loma and troubleshoot the car for half of what I was looking at initially with Sundance. I won't leave a 1 star as I'm sore they do treat the guys who buy stuff from them better I just wish they treated each customer the same. 212$ labor rate at Sundance and 130$ labor rate at Cart Mart. Check them out they know what they are doing guys. read more

We were then taken to our cart by Kelly. KELLY IS AWESOME! She was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. When we had a small concern she immediately asked one of the mechanics to help. He got us squared away and then took time to teach us about proper care of the batteries and made suggestions for a stereo system. While we were loading the cart onto our trailer another member of their team, who was off work and heading home for the weekend, stopped to help us tie it down properly. After enjoying over 180 hours of riding over the past year with no problems, recently smelled a little light electrical burning and the cart was sometimes experiencing some on/off issues that didn't prevent any of the trips but a little concerning. Popped in to the shop to be warmly greeted by Kelly to explain the issues, then Luke popped into his office to offer some history and likely culprits Within a day, Jeff made his way to replace a solenoid and bypass an unnecessary little plug that solved all issues. When we got gas for the car, he walked back again so that my wife wouldn't have to drive to the next exit and U-turn. They build great carts and at a good price. They give you lots of seat, wheel, tire, color, stereo, dash options. Turn around time is 2 weeks and your rolling in a sick cart. Our daughter and her fiancé planned for their wedding to be held at Ramona Oaks RV Resort on July 9, 2016. They wanted an extended family/community wedding event and decided that camping was the way to create that. We rented a couple of golf carts from Mike at Coronado Golf Cars in San Diego. The golf carts were a must for all the things we had to move around camp as well as people moving. What a great group and company! I bought a 6 seat cart in late 2015 and family has loved it without any issues. CA DMV decides they can't register anymore (after 4 years) because only has 7 number vin and now requires 17 number vin. Called company about this not expecting much but told them my dilemma. Maisie was awesome and even after 4 years they picked up to shop to re-register with 17 number vin and did tune up. Talk about customer service even after such a long time. Will be upgrading cart soon and no question I will be going there to have Luke work his magic. Can't recommend them enough and make you feel part of the family. Cheers! read more

I bought a cart from Mike for my husband's 40th birthday. Mike spent a ton of time helping me design the cart and make it look and perform to meet my goals. I got a great deal even though I did stretch the budget, Mike really hooked me up. I was able to get what I wanted and needed to have a sweet looking and reliable rebuilt cart. I talked to every shop and independent builder within 80 miles of my home in CDM. Mike delivered the cart on a Friday and we were like kids waiting for Christmas morning. Mike turns out a spectacular product with the service to back it up. Great business and great people - he knows how to rebuild a cart. We have had the cart for 2 months and enjoy it every day. It is fast does nearly 30mph and is super stable. It has been a very reliable and fun toy. We are impressed! read more
