Horrible management i had to speak Spanish to the technician instead of having someone translate for me in

Owner is a horrible business man and a TERRIBLE reflection on Carbondale's sweet, friendly nature. I came in for a detail. Paid several hundred dollars for the detail work but the car was dirty when i picked it up. The inside of all the doors hadn't been wiped down, there was visible wax left on the paint that hadn't been wiped off, pools of leather conditioner left on the seat I had to wipe off before I could sit down, leather conditioner over sprayed on the windows. When I pointed this out to the owner he LOST it. Screaming, blaming me, refused to fix the problem or give me my money back. Told me I'd have to pay MORE money and they would do it over. It was so bad, one of his employees apologized and asked if I was ok. His employees were kind but not super efficient and their "boss" was clearly not a good leader. The owner uses the fact that there are little other car wash options in the valley to take advantage of everyone. I've since heard of countless similar stories from this place and I will never go back. read more

I only clicked the one star because I had to to post. I took my jeep to get washed and they did a half ass job. The manager had to come out and redo all of the dirty spots. Then later I noticed they did not vacuum or clean my back seats. Meanwhile the workers sat there and glared at me til I left. I will never go back here ! Horrible read more

The Ultimate wash is $55 says on their online ad you get the full wheel deal with it. The people there refused to do the wheels and wanted another $25! Carbondale knows what a good car wash business is because we used to have Buggy Works the former owners of Sunburst. The sun didn't burst over there today. False advertising IS a thing that's illegal. When I called the manager he said the wheels weren't covered and I told him to look at his own ad. What a rip off this place was. I was warned about this and gave them a chance anyway but wish I never went there. read more

If there was another car wash I would never come here again. Employees are almost always on their cell phones instead of cleaning the cars. No wonder the waits a SOOOO long. And the interior cleaning job is always disappointing. read more

I know this place has been struggling to get help after the pandemic, but the crew that they had out on Monday was their C team or worse. I am giving 3 stars because I have had some great experiences here but Monday was not one of them. Most of the people they had cleaning car interiors were just standing around looking bored when cars were piling up. They selectively chose to clean only the doors and console and didn't so much as touch the back seat. I have had experiences here where there's a big team and they hustle to get the interiors clean but apparently that doesn't happen here anymore. After a while of waiting, seeing that this team was clearly in no rush to clean, I finally had to just take my car otherwise I would have been there forever. Disappointed and will rethink going back. read more

Trustworthy and reasonable, this place is more than a car wash. Good service on my domestic & my foreign vehicles.

On a recent visit, new scratches appeared on my tailgate after a wash here. I showed the manager who was very indignant and took no responsibility for it. Instead his solution was to offer a minor discount off a $250 detail. We own 4 vehicles and have washed them here for at least 10 years. Never again, and will tell everyone we know to use other car wash vendors. read more

Hit or miss. Been going here for 6 years. Sometimes great customer service and cleaning/washing. Lately not very good. Last week three employees were fighting and complaining about each other using profanity and loud voices in the main lobby and at the counter. Today I pulled up and not less than three staff were looking at their phones and wearing headphones. Guess that's what happens when there is no competition. read more

For 25 bucks they don't even clean the wheels plus bugs still on front fascia I pointed this out and 2 kids just shrugged.

These guys suck. The service sucks they move slow they aren't helpful or nice. Definitely won't ever think of coming here again for anything. Do not recommend. Choose elsewhere at all costs. read more

I drove up there's like 6 guys standing by the vacuum station, they look at my vehicle and one of them points hhmm ok, the young looking dude came up and I ask for their prices he says right now we $10 or $20. I'm like ok that doesn't include detail inside and he responds with "we stop detail at 2pm because some guys went to lunch and haven't got back". Hmm ok I pay the $10 because I needed more the detail inside. Go through the wash and magically there's two vehicles (Lexus & looked like a BMW. I drive a Jeep Wrangler) at the detail area and those same freakin 6 guys cleaning it out. I guess they choose the vehicles they want to detail. No flex but if they would have detailed mines and left it spanking fresh,then my jeep is right now, I'd tip too and keep coming. Please do not take your car to Sunburst! I have set an appointment for services twice, and both times they wrote down the wrong service and charged me double! When I spoke to the manager this last time, he told me it was my fault for not telling my husband ( who dropped off the car) what service we were scheduled for, even though I confirmed it with their tech the day before. read more

A $40 car wash leaves you wondering...absolutely no quality control. Obvious places inside my truck that weren't touched by a cleaning rag. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for a car wash. 4 people with rags wiping the car down for 10 minutes and still not clean! read more

Sunburst has always taken the best care of both our new and older cars. I have never had a better detail done on my cars. Even the drive through ultimate washes are a better quality and value than any big city car washes. Tim has given us great advice when buying new tires for all of our vehicles. My only wish is that they had an up valley location!! read more

This is the WORST place in the Valley for a car wash. We hadn't been there is a good two years because it was so bad back then. We decided to try it yesterday thinking it had to have gotten better. We thought we would give it a try!! BOY, WERE WE WRONG!! Our car looked worse than when we brought it in. I don't know what the heck the three guys were doing, but it certainly was not professional. After spending $40.00 on the wash I never thought we would have had to grab a rag ourselves and clean where they neglected. They said the car was ready and all three took off inside. Had I known what the outcome was going to be I would have never left a generous tip in the tip box. I guess I was too early on that one!! The local gas stations in the Valley do a lot better job with their washes......and at lower prices!!! SUNBURST CAR CARE SUCKS!! Never again!!! read more

This is possibly the worst car wash I've ever been to in my entire life. The express package is no different from the wheel package they offer. They left our car wet and dirty. They didn't do anything other than run it through the machine. I could have paid $10 at any drive through car wash to do the same thing. $20 and no vacuum? This place is the only car wash in town other than the self car wash. My advice to the workers, open your own car wash and take a big chunk of business away from these crooks. read more

You guys don't even deserve a 1 star. Don't fix cars if you can't do a simple oil change. Next time don't put in an oil filter on too tight to the point where the next mechanic has difficulty taking it off. Had to use three different tools in order to get it out. read more

I was so impressed with the customer service from Sergio I feel compelled to write this review. I wanted to arrange this detail while I was moving locally (rented UHaul through him as well) as sort of a treat for a tough day and I was really shocked to see how clean this car was when I returned. I had never had this car professionally cleaned and it's a 2000 Accord..you get the picture..the leather smelled like new and the car was spotless..nice! Yes, it's not something I can normally afford but it's sooo worth it when you can! Thanks again Sergio, I'll spread the word! P.S. I read the other comments and it breaks my heart that this valley is completely sodden with whining snivelers ..if you look over your car and see something amiss, mention it and they will address it..quit being such crying babies. read more

If you want to spend $30+ and drive away with mud and grime still clearly visible all over your car, then you should come to Sunburst. We have brought the car 2 or 3 times and I've never been impressed. Lack of attention to detail. My time is valuable, but next time I will find an hour to clean my car myself. read more

These guys are the best!!! Have always taken great care of me, and the big leather couch is a great place to take a nap or read the paper while getting a deep clean in your car, oil changes, air filters, tire changes, etc. Find Drew and Eric. They'll take care of you. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They need to get it together, don't believe anything the employees say to you because bext time you go it will be a different story. I went in one day just to ask about pricing and I was told Tuesdays were "ladies special" and I would get a five dollar discount, when I went in on a Tuesday I was charged full price. They also say they have a 48 hr. Rain or snow insurance, I specifically asked about details and once again I was told that if it rained or snowed a would get a full re done so when I went back in after it rained they said that was inaccurate and they would only do the outside. These people are liars and I regret spending my money here. I will not be going back. read more

I paid $27 for a piss poor car wash that damaged my car and scratched my windshield. When I pointed this out to Tim, the owner of the establishment, he said the car was probably like that prior to getting it washed there, and admitted no responsibility. Great customer service Tim. Having taken a seriously wrong turn from an evening at the Crown, we took our scraped and very dirty Tahoe to Sunburst to see what they could do. Nearly two hours to have a flat tire repaired. A 30 minute job anywhere else. The tech spent most of the time on his phone and pacing around the garage doing nothing. It wasn't until I stood and stared through the shop window that he did anything. Should probably stick with washing and detailing cars, they seemed pretty good at that. Other guys spent most of their time whining about other employees not showing up or not doing anything. Owner should fire half of them and he wouldn't see any change in business. I was looking for a car wash for my my 2015 4Runner I just purchased with the Toyota 160 point check (48,000miles). I go to Sunburst Car Care in Carbondale for the first time thinking this place looks nice. However as soon as my 4Runner was was in the car wash my driver side mirror was snapped forward and the bottom piece broke off. My mirror won't fold in and when it was pushed to the plastic separated at the seems. I thought well they will surly fix this and look for the broken piece. Instead I was told by the manager/owner Tim that my mirror must have been loose it's a use vehicle the dealership did a shitty job basically doing everything he can to not take responsibility. He gets my number and sends me on my way (after being rude when he first heard about it). By the way my vehicle still has the dealer plates on it and with a 160 point check Toyota certified inspection which does list the mirrors it was in perfect condition when I went in and now my mirror is broken...no brainer right? I would give 0 starts if I could but I guess that's the kind of customer service they provide. read more
