If you have a household project or work going on at your house, Jeff will not only explain how to use the equipment, but will also explain how to complete the project. For example, gave me specific instructions and tips on how to refinish floors, reseed a lawn and install posts. A much better choice than the Big Box Stores who lack this type of personal touch. Lastly, went in during September for a lawn aerator. Owner told me that if the ground was very dry it would be a waste of money because the tines probably would not penetrate. Advised me to come back later after the soil was moist. I appreciate someone who's not out to just make buck. Worth the while.

Over a period of man's life he attains those things he both wants and needs…read more There is a reason usually older men own nice expensive tools, fast cars, and large waist lines. Because they've been around long enough to make enough scratch to afford those things. Sadly enough, I haven't been able to accrue the expensive tools, fast cars, and large waist line because of my relatively young age. Oft, I am left to complete side jobs, and projects on my home with out the aid of the best tools money can buy. Wirtz has come through in spades for me on several occasions when this occurs. Scaffolding, concrete cutters, portable generators they have and for a decent price. Recently I had a small side job repairing a damaged fire escape. Unfortunately my trusty Miller CST 280 machine couldn't make the trip. So i rented a portable generator welder from Wirtz. Not bad $80 per day, the only problem I encountered was the stinger on the lead was badly damaged and every once in a while I would get a nice shock, or a bright light show if I set down on the base metal. I told 'em about it and am sure they took care of it. Nice place with decent tool rentals, and courteous desk staff as well Some day I will have that nice portable generator welder, and that nice Porsche 911, and probably a much larger waist line as well, but none of that will be a reality if I don't make some money in the mean time, and when I have need for a special tool, scaffold, etc. Wirtz will be there to help put money in my pocket.

This was the second time I rented large power equipment from BI Rental, and was even a better…read moreexperience than four years ago because when the scissor lift was delivered, the deliveryman helped me determine very quickly that it was absolutely not the right equipment for what I wanted to do, and he immediately took it back and brought out the correct equipment, which was a Niftylift self-drive boom lift. I just had to pay the difference between the two rentals, and the bucket boom was fantastic, and allowed me to safely and easily do a lot of tree trimming and repair work that would have been incredibly dangerous with a ladder or on the roof. The delivery cost was more than reasonable and saved me a large amount of time. After the deliveryman spent ten minutes running me through the operation, it took me about twenty minutes on my own to get comfortable with the equipment. It more than paid for itself by saving me either hospital and insurance costs, or funerary expenses on my family's part. Just as with last time, the staff at BI Rental are all about efficiency and making sure the customer gets the greatest value out of their rental.
