Most places will start treating you differently if you don't want to sign up for the best memberships or have concern. The lady heard me and told me the first tan was free, and then showed me that I can sign up for texts and get another free tan. There was no mention of memberships or pricing or anything. I signed my little waiver and within 5 minutes got into a bed. She also gave me her recommendations, as I burn super easily, and I actually didn't come out burnt! It was super clean and I really liked the vibe of the room! Solely because of this treatment, I'll never go to another tanning salon, and I'm more than happy to come back often and pay full price! I completely understand that businesses need to make money and a profit, but this marketing is better than just handing someone a list of prices and trying to convince them to choose the most expensive one. The kindness and understanding goes a really long way

I've been coming to Noblesville Total Tan for the past year. While I do not tan often, I always…read morespray tan before big events. It has always been great until today. This evening at 9:30 PM, two younger girls were working and before I even entered the facility I could see thru the glass storefront they were highly displeased to see a customer coming in. Their facial expression and body language were offensive but I was still kind and greeted them warmly. While I understand they close at 10 PM, a spray tan takes less than 10 minutes. When I checked at the counter the receptionist let me know they close at 10 PM and the spray tans stop at 9:40. By this time it was 9:33. I did joking make a comment about 9:40 being in 7 minutes and pleaded that I drove 20 minutes & have an event tomorrow. After being turned away I promptly checked the website and FB page...there was NO mention of last tan needing to be by a certain time. Once to my car at 9:35 I located and crafted an email post marked by 9:40 so leadership could have proof of timing. Very disappointed as I drove 20 minutes each way...(from Cicero) because I had really likes this salon. Their service and quality of tan had been great. Very disappointed at their customer service and in general, they way they treated me before I even made it into the building... UPDATE: The General Manager reached out and made the situation right. I do appreciate the care for customer service this business has. Things happen and I understand that. Rating has been updated accordingly

As far as tanning salons go, let's be real: they all basically have the same equipment. So what…read moremakes me want to go to one over another? Customer service. This salon has ZERO of that. The employees hardly ever actually greet me. I literally walked in yesterday and said, "Hi!" and the response was, "Name." I gave my name and said, "How are you today?" I got nothing. It's like this every time I go in. I try to be polite and engage, and they look at me like I'm from Mars. And it's not just the younger employees--the woman who I am pretty sure is the manager is probably the rudest one. When this package is up, I will go somewhere else. There are too many options around to go somewhere with rude service.

A few years ago, I decided to revisit Tiki Tan Fishers after a long break after the new ownership…read more I believe in second chances! When I returned, the daughter "owner" confronted me as to why I was returning after my 2017 Google review (see attached for my original review.) Although I felt like this was an unwelcoming return, I explained to her that I was hoping that the kinks of the new ownership has been worked out and I was willing to give them another try. Her attititude didn't change...still unfriendly, unprofessional and unwelcoming. Being in a customer service role, a more appropriate reply would have been, "Welcome back, we hope to serve you better." Clearly, I was expecting too much. Several visits later, I was approached by the mother of this girl (I assume the owner of the salon) asking the same question. I explained the initial incident with her daughter from the years prior. She responded very apologetically for her daughter's behavior and explained that she was "young and immature with a mouth on her back then, but since then she became a mother and has matured." I responded that being a mother of a mouthy daughter myself, I can totally relate and we laughed it off. In my opinion, this was resolved and I accepted her apology on behalf of her daughter's behavior. This week, I went into the salon to purchase a month tanning package. As I was leaving the salon, I was approached by an old man sitting on a chair by the exit door (later to learn that he was the husband/father of the family that work at the salon). He asked me "Can I ask you something?" I responded cheerfully "sure". (Thinking that he was just a jolly old man going to ask me something about the area, tell me a joke, etc.) To my surprise, he said, "If you gave us a bad review, why are you coming here?" I was caught off guard, because I have never seen this man before today and thought that this issue was resolved. I explained to him that my previous review was written 5-6 years ago after a bad experience upon their new ownership, but that it was resolved. He began insisting that I take it down. Within minutes, all three (Mother, Daughter and Dad) were verbally attacking me in the lobby for giving the salon a "bad review" on socal media. I asked the purpose of this conversation, and the mom said "because the review still exist but I can't ask you to remove it." I explained that my review was an honest review, but if she was wanting me to remove it, then she could have simply asked me to do so or ask me to respond with an updated review with my current satisfaction. She stated that as a business owner that she isn't allowed to ask me to remove it, yet the husband was insisting that it be taken down or get a refund and go elsewhere. In my opinion, the effective way of asking me for a positive post would be "If you are happy with our services today, we would love to hear an update on Google." I refuse to be bullied to take down an honest review, especially after seeing nothing has changed with their customer service! I still remain honest and today's review is warranted. The customer service is extremely unfriendly and pricing is high! Ultimately, I took the offer from the old man to refund me my purchase today. My hard earned money will get spent elsewhere! I would drive to Florida to get a tan before I step a foot into this salon again. I highly recommend any other local salon to experience friendly and professional service. Specials are offered at other local salons..so, pricing is more reasonable too. To be honest, the ONLY reason I gave Tiki Tan Fishers another chance was because of convenience to the east side of Fishers. Let's face it, driving an extra 5 minutes for a relaxing tan is worth it! Enter Tiki Tan Fishers at your own risk...this family is brutal, yet cowardly to verbally attack one woman in their lobby. Intimidation didn't work on me...I will take my business elsewhere and conitnue to provide honest feedback to our community. Reading the other 1 Star Reviews on both Yelp and Google supports my opinion on this establishment.

Got a call 10AM Saturday to say…read morethat I'll need to reschedule because I didn't confirm my appointment and someone now has that time... and that they had called me at 9PM Friday evening to confirm. This makes zero sense because I had a confirmation email, never got a call the night prior like they claimed, and how can it be that in the span of an hour since opening that my exact time was booked over and no longer available? I would have rather appreciated honesty and transparency that there was a mistake, the time was accidentally double booked, there wasn't a wax specialist available, whatever. That would have been better than shifting the blame on me by saying that I missed a call 9PM (that I never got) the night before and therefore was automatically canceled/removed from the system.
