I have been coming to this dry cleaners for years (12-14 years) and I know for a fact their service is excellent. If there are things that need to be done they will be completely honest with you and say no we don't know how to do that but they always refer you to a place that does or they take it and they take it to the place that does the job at no extra cost from their end. Their service is excellent and they are extremely patient with the customer. If you don't feel that they received the message correctly always make sure that you repeat what you want done and get it in writing. They are experts at writing things down. This is a family owned business and it has been there for so long and they do an amazing job and their prices are fair and for the job that they do they should probably charge more but they don't because they value their customers. So I will always support them whenever I am home for the holidays. As a college student most of my suits and sweaters need to be dry cleaned. read more

Previous reviewers have complained of this place being dirty etc, however you must keep in mind how much money you are paying per night. For example, we paid 1500rs a night, hence we understood that the hotel was not going to be perfect, but for the price I was impressed and would recommend it. The room was clean enough, the water was hot, the wifi was free and fast and the staff friendly. The only down fall was that the room was a bit damp. They also have a reasonable resturant on site. Excellent service! If you want same day dry cleaning, come Mon-Fri by 9 AM. They will not run their machines on Saturdays. I had a last minute event to attend and needed same day dry cleaning one day. I was lucky today that they didn't run their machines yet and I came after 10 am. I bring all my new pants here for alterations. They send alterations to another 3rd party that performs the work between 2 to 3 times a week. They do a great job at retaining the original hem for alittle extra. It used to be under 10 bucks, but now it's around 15. The people that run this establishment appears to be a mother and son. Let me start off by saying, when I first came here, the experience was pleasant when I dropped off my clothes. The lady who apparently initially helped me was the mother (former owner) of the owner who's been running the business for years. It was a routine drop off with some suits and dress shirts and one request to repair some buttons on a jacket. So I come in today apparently not knowing that the store was closed since this was my first experience picking up clothes from this store. The owner (son of the lady from initial contact), told me that it was after hours but since he was still there and talking with the security guard that was hanging out in his store, that it was okay. So I look over all my clothing while we are checking out and I discovered that the jacket that I requested to have the buttons repaired seems to have all new buttons on it, 13 to be exact. I did not request for that to be done and then was told that I was wrong that they would not do that without my permission. Then the guy proceeded to tell me how he knows the store and he runs it everyday so he knows that a mistake like that wouldn't happen and I'm pretty much tell me that I'm a liar for saying as much. I also noticed on the other jacket that my buttons were not matching to the ones that I had brought it in with. At this point I'm already frustrated with the service and how I was being treated. Then the guy continues to say it's on the receipt when you came in if it was written down then that's what it was. I kept telling him I wasn't here when that stuff was written down and that was not discussed. I then pull out my copy of that receipt which is a yellow receipt copy that you would get when you initially set up an order. I then said you know what let's go ahead and check out and I'll be done. He then takes my yellow receipt and throws it away. I asked him why he do that and requested for it back and he said no that's ours and you can't have it back. Keep in mind folks that the security guard is sitting in one of these chairs, right behind me. I tried to consult with him with what just happened, and he proceeded to tell me I only work on the outside, and I say then why are you in here?, and he says I'm taking a break and I'm like okay but you already saw this all happen, and he then proceeded to tell me not to tell him how to do his job. So I go ahead and ask my yellow receipt back again he pulls out he said yeah this is yours, then he rips it up right in front of me. I was going to continue to question the experience and the charges that seemed irregular, but I didnt feel like it was a safe environment anymore, especially with that useless "security guard." Seventy dollars for dry cleaning is a lot to me, but not enough to stay in that situation... Literally the worst customer service experience I've ever had with a business owner! This guy seemed to be in defense mode from the beginning and pretty much denied everything that I brought up concerning my own clothes... The good reviews and the higher rating was what initially brought me to this establishment, but it seems my experience was either out of the norm or the son/guy/owner had an issue at the time, definitely felt he was uneasy. Maybe they have some internal problems going on? Since the situation made me feel extremely uncomfortable/cautious, I left without making sure I had everything as it was presented. Turns out I am missing at least one thing, my winter wool trenchcoat... Lets hope when I go back Monday that they wont give me any more issues. The dry cleaning itself I would say was okay, I did see some spots that could have been done better... It was an interesting experience to say the least. Almost forgot to mention as I was leaving, the guy tried to fight me and talking a bunch of trash. Acted real tough when the door was closed and locked behind... I saw a reviewer ealier recalling a similiar experience. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DRY CLEANERS TO ANYONE!!! CONCERNING/HORRIBLE/COSTLY EXPERIENCE! if i could rate it a 0 a would. the old lady is very nice she wrote down my order. but what i didn't check was that she didn't write down a coat i brought. i took in 7 pieces and she wrote down 6. when i went to go pick up my clothes there is only 6 pieces. and turns out they lost my coat. her son that works there was so rude saying that it didn't make sense. while i was trying to explain that she must have not written it down but that i brought a navy blue coat. he just kept going on how it didn't make sense and was rude about it. yes it's my fault that i didn't double check the receipt before leaving but still. don't recommend this place terrible service and will lose your clothes. even when walking in there is clothes on the ground and it's not the best! read more

Back in November, I took two suits in for dry cleaning and they came out good as new! when the zipper on my new suit was broken, Sun Ray Cleaners fixed the zipper, and they have proven time and time again why they are my favorite dry cleaner! My mother nicely went in there asking him to look and I watched in the car the owner pointing at her and talking down to her. I then walked in and he said, "Can I help you?" in a condescending way. They do a great job of taking care of all of my clothes when it comes to drycleaning, and they have also done a great job with any alterations I've had done. Have been getting ny pants tailored here for some time now. I love how they hem and tailor to my liking. The lady that tailors you always shows you what she thinks looks best on you and still allows you to modify to your taste. You can pay up front or leave a deposit. They always make something happen with me since I tend to need it next day or sooner than expected. I think its best you go over what you want done to avoid any confusion but no bad experience from me. I even came in to have my gucci hat spot cleaned although this is not a service they provide the owner hand treated my hat. I was impressed with the attention to detail this place gives. Over the years, this cleaners has performed nothing short of miracles for me. They are family-run and the family takes pride in doing all the cleaning personally.
