Terrible experience. I've used this dry cleaner multiple times, but my clothes always came back wrinkled. When I brought it up, the staff was very rude and unprofessional. One employee even tried to start a physical confrontation and refused to return my clothes unless I paid. The issue was never about payment, but the poor quality of service. I was also insulted and called "cheap," which is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place. I highly recommend Dry Clean 101 instead ,they are professional and respectful. read more

I came back to show him a shirt that they worked on, all I asked was to fix the problem instead the owner decided to yell at me hang up the phone before I got here then calling me a liar and referring to my $300.00 shirt as a cheap shirt. Just picked up my clothes from Platt cleaners very satisfied with the cleaning and personal care given to me. Have been going there for over 5 years and have found the consistency of both the cleaning and tailor services to be excellent. Parking is free in the lot out front. Be aware the parking situation can be tricky at different times of the day. Thankfully, there's a dedicated spot for pick up and drop off. Would highly recommend. read more

LAST NAME WRITTEN IN INK ON CLOTHING TO KEEP TRACK! Last week was the first and last time using this cleaners. We noticed what we thought was a stain on the bottom of the shirts, nope it was my last name written in pen! My last name was written on the inside of 2 shirts and on the outside of one shirt! When I called the owner he said this was the way he kept track of orders and that he had never gotten complaints about it. I didn't expect to take clothes to the cleaners only to be returned with markings that weren't there to begin with, if this is his way of not losing clothing he needs to let people know that he will be marking their clothing with blue and black ink. read more

Not a pleasant experience.When I came to collect my clothes...around 15-20 mins not be found....not expecting this from a unit which has been operating for years. Clothes didn't seemed to be cleaned as intended and left a red mark around the zipper on my jacket. I told him about this and the owner ignored my findings. I did show him the sweat marks on the jacket which was explained by owner that this being denim is a typical characteristic of a denim wash...not sure what he was talking out as I called him out on that Iam not getting my clothes dry cleaned for the first time. He did indeed to offer a rewash(acknowledging)that the clothes may not be washed up to satisfaction. But I paid him in full as quoted...intending never to use his services again! read more

I have been using Platt Cleaners for years, not only just for my clothes, but also for my Persian Rugs! I am personally very particular with my rugs, as they are relatively expensive pieces in my home, however they were PERFECTLY cleaned and I have now taken every one of my rugs to get serviced and will continue to do so and also let everyone know how amazing their overall services are. I took my coat to this place to get it dry cleaned when I came back few days later to pick it up I lifted the plastic cover off of it I saw lint all over my coat, I told the gentleman and I showed it to him, he said that this is normal we don't clean everything we just dry clean it if we're going to clean everything it is time consuming. Wow really? I told him that I never asked you about the cost to clean my coat, I brought it over to the dry cleaners and expected it to be cleaned I ended up taking my coat to a another local dry cleaner to get it cleaned properly. read more

I went this place many times and always believe the owner is vey kind gentleman. But he becomes very unreasonable and very badly to his client when you find something wrong he did. My dress has beadings on collar and sleeves. After dry cleaning in this store, beading dropped off. The tag in the dress notices that dry clean only and MUST cover the beadings. Obviously he didn't follow the instruction as the right way. More serious is when I let him glue the beadings back, he refused to do that and becoming very very angry, he told me he won't do anything just let me go away with my poor dress. In final I realized he lost most of the beadings dropped off.... He can't do that because of he can't find the beading!!! He is not trying to cure his fault but argue with his client by hiding his issue. Don't think a person is nice when everything is right. Good or Bad you can see the truth when problem happens. It's dry cleaning; it's hard to be too excited about it, really. The people who work there are nice, they get the clothes done in a timely fashion, and it's on my way to/from work, so it's convenient for me to drop stuff off and pick stuff up. Being in the same shopping center as a Pavilions and Starbucks (among other things), it's a busy area, but there's always parking close by. They don't take American Express, which is a bit of a bummer, but they open at 7am, which is helpful for those of us who need to get to work early. read more

My husband has been coming to this guy for 20+ years, he had a bad experience a long time ago, he went to pick up his dry cleaning, a shirt was missing, the owner said he never received it. Oh well, he let it go and it blew over. Then comes my horrible experience. I've been going for 2 years, the owner fakes being so nice every time "he's blessed" I take my wedding dress to get a quote for preserving and boxing...$500...I say "ok, let me think about it and come back if I decide to" Take my wedding dress and a couple of other evening dresses that i had brought in from my wedding week. He calls my husband a few days later claiming he "accidentally" gave me another customers pink dress with all of mine. I tell my husband, "no, I looked at my dresses before I left and did not take anything extra" My husband then relays the message, then he tells my husband, "how did you know it was pink, I know you stole it" because you told us dude! Anyways, I found a better, more genuinely friendly dry cleaner, who I took my wedding dress to and she charged me $120 for preservation, and she not accusing customers of stealing things. read more

(They had given me someone else's shirt about a month ago). Kept insisting that I took my shirts and kept telling me that I'm trying to make him crazy. I feel like this place has been here all my life. The guy who owns it is really nice, honest, and professional. His prices are really fair. They are usually pretty low, but even when they are not (I have a fair amount of king size Restoration Hardware faux fur bed blankets that are dry clean only) he is always fair. Cleaning this bedding is time consuming and work intensive, so I understood when I bought the blankets that cleaning them wouldn't be cheap, but he doesn't ever rip me off. He has a kind heart and except for my faux fur bedding (which takes a 4 day turn around) if I request it, he can have things turned around in 24 hours. Great owner, great team. I don't even want to give this store 1 star! Horrible service, the owner is so rude and disrespectful. I gave him a designer purse to clean. He sent it to another cleaner and then I went to pick it up. It was never even cleaned. The dirt on the bottom was never even touched. Mind you he had it for 3 weeks. I told him I will gladly pay for my other items but not the purse! He said he's losing money because he sent it to another cleaner. Just be careful. You go to this cleaner and expect them to clean it not a third party. Then he had the audacity to try and take my purse out of my hands and take it back! Claims he wanted to reclean it. My parents started coming to Platt Cleaners back in 1975 and my family hasn't stopped since. Even when I moved away to Tarzana, I still make the trek out to Woodland Hills to bring my dry cleaning to Hy. Excellent service, great prices and I always know they're going to do a great job. And if they can't do something, they tell me. They don't ever make promises they can't keep! read more

These guys are Awesome! I have been going here for years. I can bring over 8 different things and they will have all of them ready by that afternoon if I need it. Super friendly and always remember who you are. I have even forgot my credit card, they still let me take the clothes and pay the next time I came in to get clothes done. Not many cleaners, much less anywhere will give you that kind of hospitality and trust anymore. Only thing ere is parking is a little hard. They do have two spots right in front marked for their store, but you never know what can happen. TIP - park behind the pizza Hut if you cant find parking. Enjoy! read more

Friendly dry cleaners with reasonable prices. I recently took my clothes here for dry cleaning, a combination of cashmere sweaters, skirts & a cashmere scarf, a total of 9 pieces & everything came out to around $43. I have not smelled my clothes yet, but they look nice, at least. I dropped my clothes off on a Tuesday & was told they would be ready by Saturday. Not a huge deal since I was going out of town & was planning on picking up my clothes the week after. But it would be nice if the service was faster. I think they offer expedited service at an extra cost. read more

I never write reviews but my experience here was so bad that I feel like I need to warn people because not only was the work bad, the owner violently yelled at me. I took an apron there that I wanted them to sew some patches onto. They did not do a good job (wrong thread color, sewed in the middle of the patch, the thread went off the patch onto the apron). I included a couple pictures that are just two of the many patches they messed up. I went in to get a refund because the work was terrible. The owner proceeded to yell at me that this is the only way to put patches on. I told him that if this was the only way and they couldn't do it cleanly then he should have told me beforehand so that I could decide whether I wanted it done or not. He continued to yell at me and said that I asked him to sew the patches on and that's what he did. He refused to give me a refund or even apologize. The conversation ended when he slammed his hand on the counter right in front of me and yelled, "Take me to court!" I have never been treated so badly. I usually like to give people the benefit of the doubt because anybody can have a bad day but this man was unstable. I feel like the public needs to be warned about who they are dealing with before choosing this cleaners. read more
