Even though they were closing in an hour, the owner was VERY friendly and told me absolutely! It's always scary getting your nails done at a new place, but my nails were trash so I took an Uber over there, sat down and hoped for the best. They are super short, so it's hard to make them even look decent... The technician (I forgot her name, I'm sorry! She was young, about 25!) did what probably is the best set of hell nails I've ever had. She was meticulous and I couldn't be happier!! Totally surprised,, but extremely happy!

So I FINALLY had the time to go and see their gel acrylic skills, way later then the one week time…read moreline i had promised. (sorry) I worked with Lisa's husband and asked for a full set of gel acrylics in stiletto shape. Of course my dear friend Aimee came with me, and was sitting by my side as he prepared my nails for the acrylics. Now I have to be honest, he was pretty rough with my finger nails, to the point that he was buffing my nails and looking in every opposite direction besides my fingers and therefore ended up buffing the skin surrounding my nails! it was painful!! Then we get to the point where I choose what nail length i want and clip off the excess portion of the acrylic.... Except HE decided for me and just started clipping them shorter then how i wanted. So I stopped him and he stated that my choice would make them too long. (Never tell a customer that the decision they're making for their body is wrong) and I had him reattach new acrylics and start over. Okay so he has the length I want and begins to file them into shape. Well, he basically just ended up filing them back down to the length he picked. -_- I go and wash my hands and wince, because four of my fingers are bleeding... as I'm checking them out he walks behind me and says "its because you haven't had your nails done in awhile". Now maybe your wondering why I still gave them five stars... and that's because apparently the quote "pain is beauty" is true! THEY LOOKED FANTASTIC! they were symmetrical, well shaped, and super pointy. And I run through acrylics fast! I break them here, I break them there, I break them everywhere.. and three weeks later they are still holding. Plus Lisa did my design for me and she was so cute about it... she put extra glue on my gems, and did not give me a stern disappointed look when I showed her I had touched my wet nail on something. Instead she told me it was okay and fixed it. then I got my mustache and uni brow waxed with Lisa (thank god for her gentle hands) and I was set! seriously they were gorgeous, I cant wait to go back and have my fills done and my nails reshaped... although I will definitely keep an eye out when he does it and not be distracted by conversation with Aimee lol. I requested a gel soak off and manicure. Asked several times that my nails be soaked off and not drilled. The girl drilled them off anyways despite me asking several times. She kept saying she was just taking off the top layer of polish and would soak them in a minute. She ended up changing drill tips and filing off the rest of the gel. She starts to polish next. This is not the correct steps of a manicure, so I asked her to push back and remove my cuticle. She sighs to get up and get more tools. She ends up finishing the job but not correctly. This is a very "get in and get out" nail shop. If you are looking for the correct application of service and customer service, go somewhere else. I have flooding on my cuticles and expect this to lift within a few days.

I came on a Friday around 4pm. The shop could use a bit of tidying up. A nice sweeping. And a touch of modernism. And that smell of formaldehyde will hit you like a ton of bricks in less than 5. Whew! I don't know how the workers handle it. Customer Service could be better. The guy who did my nails was quite demanding. Do this, do that. Just not pleasant. As far as the finished product? It was good. But when I got home, I noticed he didn't cover the entire nail on the second coat; on multiple fingers so I could've save the 18 bucks.
