This is the second time I have had repairs to some older jewelry brought to this place. An old family heirloom ring, which I brought in quite dirty as it looked totally grey, was utterly transformed. I was about to throw it away/donate it since it originally looked like a dime store piece. But the owner told me it was actually gold so I got it cleaned. On Jan 16 2023 I took my gold chain in to have the clasp changed, on a chain I've had for over thirty years. When I return to pick it up ,the instead the sales person returned to me I knew it was something wrong, it wasn't the gold chain I gave him. And of course he denied any switch had been done, I don't know what options I have other than let people know what's happening there. The nerve, of thinking they could pass off something new and cheaper for something I've had for 30 years. It's a Dame shame you can't trust anyone these days. I hope everything bad happens to them. The sales woman told me they would fix it right up, and I'll tell you - they fixed it in 30 min! And the price was super fair! I took 3 hoop earrings and a wedding set in for repairs. All came back acceptable, except for a gold hollow hoop earring. It was returned dented in the front. When I asked them to review the picture taken of the jewelry when I dropped it off, I was told they didn't take a picture of that part and that "it was hard to tell what happened to it." My husband bought me a diamond ring for $1200 from here when we where dating. Beautiful ring, however, the diamonds keep falling out. We have been here numerous times to get them replaced. And shortly after getting them replaced they fall out again. Its usually the same ones that keep falling out, some new ones. So what ever they are doing to "fix" jewelery isnt working if its the same stones that keep falling out. Not once have they offered any sort of compensation or refund for the terrible ring they sold him. Instead we drive the hour and half (my husband was working in the area when he bought the ring) wait for a couple hours for them to fix it and drive back, for them to pointlessly replace the diamonds that are just going to fall out again. I (stupidly) also had another ring resized from them when we where there for the other ring and they had to take my stone out of the setting to resize it. They asked permission, which I gave. When I got my ring back it wasnt center. I gave it back to him to fix and he literally rolled his eyes, gave it to the guy who was fixing jewelry , who also rolled his eyes, apparently re did it and handed it back to me looking exactly the same and uneven. I would not recommend buying any jewelry or getting anything fixed from them read more

You pay for what you get. Horrible customer service, especially from Doug. They want to take your money but not fix or stand behind what they do. Repaired my chain twice and I paid twice. The second time I suggested for a new chain and was told No just repair it. Then it broke less than 3 weeks after I got it back the second time. Of course, Doug tells me I have to pay to have it fixed again. Yeah okay! Not me, you won't be getting my money a third time to fix that item. In addition to this, I had him replace a missing stone for me and instead of replacing the stone with the same princess cut stone, he puts in a round stone thinking I wouldn't notice. A woman knows their own jewelry, the round stone sticks out more than the missing stone did. It doesn't blend in at all. I believe they treat people like that because of the area and there's not another repair place near by. Save your money and go to Orland where they will treat you better with better service and quality in what they offer. read more
