Overall I believe that everyone knows that UV Tanning is never healthy, but this salon does offer red light beds which do have claims for improved skin health. I have never tried the red light tanning, but there is information in front of the salon and on their web-site. I was drawn to this salon over national chain as I wanted to support local small businesses. Stacy, who I believe is the Owner/Manager is very friendly, helpful and I enjoy her smile when I walk in. The whole salon is very clean, love the summer inspired candle scents upon walking in. During busy times there can be a wait or you can choose to upgrade but the upgrade costs can be a bit high. Their website is very informative with their current deals, prices, and types of beds. This location also has eye lash extensions and spray tans but I haven't tried either. You can pick up a variety of tanning supplies including lotions displayed in front and I appreciate their lack of aggressive trying to upsell. Overall, have had a positive experience and decent base tan for upcoming vacation.

The VersaPro Spray tan is simple and doesn't give you that fake orange color. I choose the clear option which develops over 8 hours and have never had any rub off on my clothes. There is also an instant option so you have immediate results, though I have never tried this. There are three levels of spray 1, 2, and 3 (Light, Medium and Dark). Be sure to google how to prep prior to spray tan for longer lasting results and join Zoom Tan's email, text club for frequent specials such as $5 spray tans. Usually when they have deals they are referring to Level 1 and most people would likely choose Level 2, which is usually double the special price though they don't mention it until you are already at the location. I had a ballroom dance showcase event that I wanted to have some fresh color for, so I went in the day prior. The only downside to the whole process was that I felt like I should be standing still and dry for at least 12 hrs, and I was unclear on when I could actually take a full-on shower (with soap). I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I left Glow feeling like perhaps my new tan was going to come off by the next day if i wasn't super ultra careful (and prob smelly due to no shower). It turns out that while some of the intensive color did come off with my first rinse, the remaining color was perfect for my dance event and I would definitely come back here again for the next showcase. *Note - parking is near the back of the building and the entrance is the same for the adjoining salon - just have to go up the staircase to find your Glow. :)
