After receiving no calls from my insurance and adjuster assigned to my total loss vehicle, and seemed to be getting no where with progressive and neogatations of the vehicle, I decided to search internet and found Sun Auto Appraisers and read their information and felt they were the right company, to handle the claim. Called them talked with Steve and within one day, he had his paper work completed and submitted, it only took 2 days for progressive to assign their appraiser and they got together and negotiated my settlement with and increase that I was very pleased with. Thanks Steve / Sun Auto Happy Michael F. read more

Super helpful! I absolutely recommend Steve. I'm a young single woman who wanted to get her car appraised before going to the dealership to trade it in and Steve gave me all the info I needed over the phone and some great tips about going to purchase my car as well. He told me what to not accept from the dealer and knowing when to walk away. THANK YOU xoxo read more

Steve was great inexpensive service that took very little time to get my appraisal back and negotiated with my insurance to get me over $2k over what the original offer was. I would highly recommend to anyone going thru a total loss read more

Steve was wonderful! He quickly responded to every request, he worked hard to provide me with a fair market appraisal, and helped me save $4000 by successfully countering my insurance company's low ball offer. I would highly recommend his services, you will not be disappointed. read more

I would highly recommend Steve to perform an appraisal for your diminished value claim. He was extremely responsive to my e mails, wrote a diminished value appraiser report, and was able to negotiate with the insurance company and obtained almost almost 80 percent of the appraised diminished value claim. There is no doubt that Steve added substantial value to the process. And his fee was far more reasonable then most. read more

What a great experience! First of all Steve had more 5 star reviews than I'd seen with any other Independent Appraiser... with no bad reviews. From the start, Steve was extremely knowledgeable about how insurance companies do their Appraisals, and more specifically, he knew a lot about what mattered to me... Allstate. Steve spent about a half hour on the phone with me on our first call an I was convinced that he would be able to return a much higher valuation on my Range Rover Sport that Allstate had. Within 1 day of hiring Steve, he had already completed my Appraisal which was much more in line with where it should be. One more day later, he had negotiated with the Allstate Adjuster and my valuation landed at $11,460 higher than the insurance company's valuation! My fee was 10% of that and I'm an extremely happy camper! I could never have gotten that kind of return myself or with another appraiser. He's the real deal. read more

Here's what REALLY impressed me...Steve took my initial call and afforded me an hour of his time(VALUABLE) to inform and educate me on the pitfalls and hidden surprises that were waiting for me courtesy of my (Progressive) Insurance company's well seasoned, allegedly "independent", adjusters! He was SPOT ON! Progressive first tried to deny my claim, then Progressive surrendered and "totaled" my 2016 customized JEEP ($25,000+ in custom modifications) and offered me a measly 29k(the value of a STOCK JEEP). I followed Steve's instructions and I engaged my policy's "appraisal clause", I hired Sun Auto Appraisers Progressive(Steve), and gave Progressive Steve's contact info. Steve provided Progressive's "independent adjuster" with a half a dozen customized JEEPS that were the same year, make, model, mileage and with similar custom MODS as my JEEP. The BIGGEST difference was, Steve's comps had CURRENT prices ranging from 42k to 60k for JEEPS like mine!! Amazingly, only 3 days later, a Progressive claims manager ACTUALLY called me and APOLOGIZED for his subordinate's "lack of experience in pricing customized JEEPS". He explained that my JEEP "fell into a unique niche marketplace" and acknowledged that Progressive's initial 28k offer, followed by their "independent appraiser's" 29k payoff offer "were both substantially below the actual marketplace value for that type of JEEP". NO WAY?? Progressive now assures me they will work with Steve to "reach a settlement amount that more accurately reflects the true market value of my unique type of vehicle", imagine that! I had been arguing with them myself for 50+ days since the accident and they begrudgingly added only $1,000 tot heir offer. So the headway that Steve has made in 3 days is remarkable to say the least! I'll update this post when the final numbers roll in! The Progressive Manager's apology call alone was worth every penny of the $250 fee I paid to have Steve on my side, the rest is GRAVY. read more
