I was referred to Kalyn by a friend, and that was easily the best referral that I've ever gotten! She was super friendly, responsive, and on top of things from the get go. Within just the first week of reaching out to her, she scheduled and accompanied us on three home tours, and she helped us submit an offer! That first escrow ended up being a tricky one because the seller was exceptionally difficult, and she was represented by a brand new realtor who didn't quite have a handle on his responsibilities or the general process of selling his client's home. This meant that Kalyn ended up doing three jobs: her job as the buying agent, most of the other realtor's job as the selling agent, as well as proactively and reactively dealing with the other agent's mistakes. To make things even more complicated, the house was actively falling apart while we were in escrow. Thankfully, issues that the seller did not disclose ended up coming to light anyway. We had many extra inspections throughout that whole process, and Kalyn handled it all! She has amazing contractors and inspectors that she works with, and they all went above and beyond to do things quickly for us. We were just 6 days away from getting keys when my husband and I decided that the escrow was too crazy and that the home no longer felt right for us. I felt so bad that after all of the time, hard work, passion, blood, sweat, and tears that Kalyn put into that escrow for us, we decided to back out. But when we called her to let her know our decision, she was an incredibly supportive sounding board, and she validated all of our thoughts and concerns. She never pressured us to push forward. She made it so clear that we weren't just a commission to her. She genuinely wanted us to find our dream home and do what was best for our family. Without skipping a beat, she cancelled that escrow and set up another house tour for us. We ended up submitting an offer and were in escrow on a new home just 4 days after we cancelled on the previous house. That second escrow ended up being a quick two week escrow because Kalyn and her team had already laid so much groundwork for us as buyers. This time, everything went so smoothly that my husband and I didn't have to do much of anything. We closed on that home and couldn't be happier! This home is even better than what we could have hoped for, and we know that it will be our "forever home" where we will raise our family. Through it all, Kalyn went from being a stranger to a friend. She walked with us through one of the craziest times of our adult lives, and she was our rock and encouragement every step of the way. When I thanked her for everything she had done for us, she responded by saying that when her clients put their trust in her, she takes it as a huge honor, and therefore views and treats them like she would her own family members. Starting with the housing office ladies! Tina and Daisy are so nice, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable when ever our family has a question! We also stop by the housing office to say hi and are always greeted with a smile and a "what can we do for you guys today!" Next is Maintenance! The turn around time for any issue to be fixed has been less than 48 hours. We've never had any crazy issue other than a stove shorting out and we had a new one that same day. Our garage had come undone from the track and they have fixed the issue temporarily while we are waiting for new parts and a panel. And then we had some interesting caulking that was oddly discolored and they came out and replaced it. The They I'm referring to?? His name is Angel! Angel is absolutely fantastic at what he does. He's reliable, detail-oriented, and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done right. It's clear he takes pride in his work, and it shows every time. The full BAH is collected, yet basic amenities and functionality fall short of expectations. For example, there is no dedicated laundry space, requiring laundry to be done in the kitchen, which is highly inconvenient. The patio area is also in poor condition and does not feel safe or suitable for families with children. Maintenance and upkeep have been ongoing issues. Shortly after moving in, the home was not adequately cleaned, and several fixtures were already in poor condition. A ceiling fan fell from the ceiling, and maintenance acknowledged it had not been installed properly. Despite this, repairs throughout the home were often incomplete or ineffective, with recurring issues such as clogged drains and broken fixtures. There are also several design and structural concerns. The bathroom door cannot fully open due to its proximity to the toilet, and the kitchen layout allows the refrigerator and sink cabinets to open into each other, making daily use difficult. Additionally, the living room blinds do not close properly, creating a lack of privacy unless additional coverings are installed. Exterior maintenance and safety are also lacking. The front screen door was never properly repaired and frequently broke. Sidewalk areas are often unclean, with pet waste left unattended. When concerns about safety were raised with the housing office, the response from leadership was dismissive, stating that tenant safety was not their responsibility, which is deeply concerning. Overall, the condition of the property, lack of proper maintenance, and poor response to resident concerns make this a place I cannot recommend.

Judy took my call, was warm and friendly, told me exactly what I'd need and how much it'd cost, then passed me along to her very competent assistant who walked me through on the phone how to order my documents and exactly what boxes to fill with what information. It was a quitclaim deed and a TOD deed. They told me the documents would be ready in 24 hours, and their service included the notary. Would I like to setup my notary appointment now? I said no, because I was going in for surgery tomorrow and would have to see how I'm feeling afterwards. Judy called me back shortly after to ask if I wanted to get this done before my surgery. I hadn't thought it was possible and just thought I'd have it done after in case of any complications and just because it really needed to get done. She put a rush on it, said my documents would be emailed to me in 2 hours, and her notary would meet me at the office at 8am. I walked into the office to find a Welcome (first name) on the tv and a warm and friendly notary Valeria who walked me through my documents and made it a pinch to sign and get it all done. They electronically recorded it before I went into surgery that afternoon. I am ecstatic that I found this business! When I took my girlfriend to them to add to the lease as required, they said the owner refused to lease to her! I also asked to have large flower boxes moved away from blocking fire escapes out of concern for my neighbors upstairs. They said they'd look into it, but never did. Now they say the owner wants my unit for her sister (there are two vacant units around me), so they're refusing to renew my lease, telling me we have to move out or face legal action. We appealed to them staying we are in no physical condition to move again after only one year due to our disabilities, but they didn't care. We have done nothing wrong, pay our rent on time, and are older, quiet tenants. Pacific Coast (Doug and Lori) is the most incompetent, unreasonable, and brutally cold "company" I've heard of.
