The first visit was great. Then 3 weeks later I get a bill. Which I wasn't supposed to get one. I called my insurance and even they told them not once but twice it was covered period and I shouldn't of been charged at all bc of the plan I have. Though from my understanding of today they are double dipping for funds. Which is fraudulent. My insurance company heard everything that was said today. And their staff even told the owner that I had them on the phone and she completely flipped out about being recorded. That sucks for her bc they caught everything she said. And I gave them my content which here in tx u only need one person. Bet she didn't know that. And what happened is completely against the law. They charged my insurance company the main part and my other insurance was suppose to pick up the rest. They didn't even submit the other half of the insurance and told me I'd still have to pay. But it was double the number now. I even apologized for getting upset. Front desk was cool with it but the lady over the phone, still not so much. Insurance filed a massive complaint of what happened today and them refusing to see me. Which was said out loud and the recording picked it all up. So if u want them to double dip and not run the insurance properly then go to them if not find someone else in town. I am also filing a complaint with the medical board considering what happened is illegal in more than one way read more

Dr Salcido was highly recommended by my primary physician for a dry skin condition. I find Dr Salcido to be very compassionate and easy to talk to. She has been very helpful in treating my condition and I am very pleased with the results. She is very knowledgeable and skilled in diagnosis and what treatments are best. They only do surgeries one day a month. I've been waiting since October. Had a simple office procedure in October and was told I'd get sent home with after care info as well as skin care info. I made my appointment for December 14th then. Left with zero info. They called to remind me of my appointment for NOVEMBER and I had to tell them no mine is in December. When they called to remind me of my appointment a week ago the lady who called was rude. I told her I'd already gotten a text for a different appointment which I didn't schedule and cancelled that (that's the one she was calling about) so I was in the middle of asking her to confirm for the third time I was still on schedule for being seen December 14th because I'd taken off work and I live two hours away. She interrupted me with an extremely rude tone and said "ma'am this the appointment I have in front of me are you coming or not?!" I said no and she said "that's all I needed to know!" Then she hung up on me! I called back and it rang and rang until they literally picked up and immediately hung up the phone. I called back again and I got a busy signal which says to me that they left the phone off the hook after hanging up on me twice. I called back to back for over half an hour before someone else finally answered after it rang who claimed to be the office manager and she didn't seem too concerned about her staffs behavior. Today is their once a month surgery day and I arrived 20 minutes early. The room is packed full and there are no chairs. There are three people sitting in folding chairs in the hallway. Here it is, 5:11 pm and I've been here since 3:40 and I'm still standing here waiting. After my appointment I still have a two hour drive home. They CLEARLY need to have more than one surgery day a month if they're packing people in beyond waiting room capacity AND appointment time capacity. The one doctor I met, Genie, is super nice but the office staff and the facility scheduling policies are shit. read more

We had about a 45 minute wait. PA Salcido was very nice; exceptional assistant. I came in to have a small growth removed from my back. As soon as the PA came in, she started spraying 'age spots' on my skin wlthough I did not want anything else done. She was searching my face, my neck, my arms. I wll tell you, as an RN for 25 years, Medicare pays by procedures; for example one spot removed is a lot less than 10 spots. It isn't a tremendous cost difference when you're on Medicare; however, I only asked for one item. My husband, on the other hand, HATED them, even though they were very pleasant to him. read more

They are never on time. We usually wait over an hour. There is a sign that states that their wait times are long because they never know what procedures they will be doing. They need to schedule consults and procedures separately so they can better schedule their time. read more

DO NOT go to this doctor if you care about your health. After they told me that I have cancer they REFUSE to give me the paperwork I need to be able to go get treatment. They claim that "the doctor hasn't put it in the system" but it's been over a month since I was there. I would recommend that you find another office immediately, or you will be sorry. read more

It was such a hassle to get an appointment, once I got an appointment it was a hassle to get the scripts called in the the pharmacy. I called and got all the referral information, and had my primary fax the paperwork. The front desk said that the referral was for the canyon location and wouldn't work, but she would call and sort it out, never did. I called my primary and they basically said that the problem was something that Panhanlde Derm. could and would have to fix. So I had to call and literally bug them to find the referral they "weren't seeing" anymore. I was hit with "we are short staffed" a dozen times, I was promised that they would call me back and i would end up having to call them, that was all before my appointment. So finally I get in, and now I am having to call and call andddd call to get the scripts they were supposed to send sent. I just want my meds I worked so hard to get, this place is a joke. read more

Absolute worst experience of my life! Spent 3hrs waiting to be seen only to be dismissed by the doctor after less than 5 minutes, dumped on the PA to receive a shot that took less than 5 minutes! These people have a gross lack of respect for people's time. read more

Here is a short recap because I am so limited on space here. My 1st appt is cancelled due to Covid and reschedule for May. I go in May and a sign says Closed due to Covid. Hmmm. Other patients are also there, and confused. Finally get rescheduled for July, but end up in the ER because symptoms had become unbearable. They diagnose scabies and give me appropriate medication. I see PA Salcido 2 days later and she agrees it's scabies and gives me more Permethrin but says I must wait 2 wks for more ivermectin, so she makes follow up for then. When I see her I tell her I am much improved but have new activity and she says she has changed her diagnosis to some condition with a really long name and with no explanation. WHAT? She says I need to see a GP, an Internist, or go back to ER. All this without even examining me I say? They give me a gown and when she returns she quickly looks at me then says "I've referred you to an Internist." More WHAT?? So you change your diagnosis with no real reason despite treating me for scabies and before examining me you make an appointment without my asking for it? This is nuts. She repeated things several times as if I didn't hear her but really my head is spinning. She says "You can't make me diagnose you with scabies just because you want me to." Actually you already did diagnose that AND gave me medication for it. Are there ivermectin junkies? Am I one?? I happen to know you can get it online so what is really going on here? She says she is prescribing a stronger corticosteroid for this new diagnosis, while also suggesting this might be from my medications or from anxiety, "do you have anxiety?" I do now!!! read more

We got a text message and email reminding us of our appointment on Friday, June 2 @ 11:30 a.m. We live out of town so the trip is over 100 miles round trip. We arrived for our appointment a few minutes before 11:30 and the office was closed. When we called to find out what was going on, the receptionist in Canyon said, "Oh, yea, they are not there today. Guess they forgot to call you guys." and giggled. I don't think it is a laughing matter and would think a doctor's office would be more professionally ran. read more

The waiting time is insane. All they say everytime is they're so busy...like unexpectedly busy? You're a dermatologist, no one is popping in like urgent care. If you're so busy stop accepting new patients and making everyone wait in your waiting room for over an hour and then the room for another hour. The staff is disorganized and Stephanie barely looked at my area of concern. Terrible, I'll find a new dermatologist. read more

Quite literally the worst experience ever! This office is completely unorganized, never prepared for your visit, and lies. I am still waiting for Stephanie to call me and explain my biopsy results and why she said she examined parts of my body that she didn't. We are a military family, not many providers take Tricare. I will be traveling to get a second opinion...or rather a first opinion since she provided me with no answers. If you have other options please chose a better dermatologist. read more
