Over the course of several months in 2025 and early 2026, I repeatedly contacted Capital Well requesting service to inspect the well system, measure water levels, and repair a well cap. My goal in making these requests was to proactively prevent system problems. Despite numerous attempts to schedule service, the company did not respond to my requests. Eventually, my well system failed when the well pipe froze. When I contacted Capital Well again, they indicated that a "system glitch" had prevented them from receiving my earlier service requests. They subsequently came to the property to replace the well pump. During installation of the replacement pump, their technician informed me that a piece of shale likely slipped during the installation process, preventing the pump from being lowered further into the well. As a result, the pump could only be installed at approximately 160 feet, leaving more than 250 feet of the original well depth unusable. This effectively eliminated access to the majority of the well's water column and significantly compromised the reliability of my household water supply. Even the owner of the company, publicly stated that a well pump at my depth has had this year in New Hampshire. They are trying to claim "act of God" language. When I raised concerns about this outcome, the company informed me that they would not accept responsibility for the obstruction and advised me to simply continue using water normally. No remediation plan was offered. The situation has created significant financial hardship. I was required to take out a second mortgage to cover the cost of the pump replacement and related work already performed. they breached their contract multiple times and there are ethical standards that have been broken. They wanted to charge me $13,000 to repair what they broke taking zero responsibility for their workmanship. I have requested documentation multiple times with no response. I have requested formal mediation multiple times with no response. I have file a claim insurance with no response. I had offered to speak to the president directly to work through this, but became aggressive and rude. Once I filed a complaint. This company is very much unprofessional And overpriced.

Cindy, it pains me to write this review…read more We used this company to put in a water filtration system on our new home in 10/2020. They suggested a greensand filter with calcite and corosex media to treat iron and manganese, and also an ultra-violet system to treat bacteria ($3700). They came back every year to do "maintenance" on the system (cost $300-$400 each year). In Aug of 2023 (not even three full years from installation), I started getting red tinted water that smelled of iron. I contacted Cindy, who came out and did another water test. After filter test showed high levels of iron, manganese, and also a tad bit high PH. Cindy suggested that they come out and change the filter media within the greensand filter, add a 20" jumbo cartridge filter with a dual gradient 25:1 micron cartridge, and also do their yearly maintenance ($1926). I did not get clear water. I waited about 6 weeks, hoping the filter would kick in and start working, but it never cleared up. I contacted Cindy telling her we were still getting smelly water and would also turn orange when heated (cold water looked clear but still smelled of iron). She came out and tested and we still had high levels of iron, manganese, and a high PH. Changing the filter media and adding the dual gradient filter did nothing! $2000 worth of work and nothing changed. You can imagine my frustration. When I asked what the solution was, I was told she wanted to try adding calcite media (which I thought was already in there with the changing of the media, it's what was in our original filter), here are her exact words: "If we try adding media to the existing tank and installing a flow restrictor, the cost would be about $270.00, depending on how much calcite we can actually add (this is the issue). If we add an acid neutralizer, it is $2600.00 installed." So, now I'm supposed to TRY something at the cost of $2900 and it may not work??! At this point I lost all confidence in this company. I had another company come out and look at the problem. Turns out the system we have won't work at all AND it was not installed up to code (something about the outflow going directly into septic system. If the septic system ever backs up the ick water would end up in our drinking water). Just a shame.

Bunch of gypsy rip off artists. They drilled 500 feet on my property. 200 feet over the contract…read morewithout letting me know it was costing me more. They were there for 3 days without an email, call, or text. Then they send me an invoice two weeks later for 120% OVER the quoted price. On top of that. They claimed it was a dry well and it COMPLETELY FULL OF WATER!!! I pumped it out and have a flow rate of over 5 gpm at 100 feet down. There intentions right from the get go were to rip me off! Now they leaned the property, all part of the original criminal plan, because they know I'm selling it. CRIMINALS! I'm filing criminal charges and taking them to court from fraud, negligence, breaking state well drilling mandates etc etc etc. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! SCAM!!!
