Family first pain management has so many grievous flaws it's tough to decide where to begin…read more While the staff has been nothing but kind and professional the Doctors here are morally corrupt and play games with their patients. There is a sign in their lobby that proudly states "Ask me about Medical Marijuana Cards" however, when asked they have no information to give. They apparently swore to the hypocritic oath as even if you spend the money to get a legal thc card they will still refuse treatment. "Moving the goalpost" if you will. Awesome way to treat a disabled veteran. Beyond the utter embarrassment of doctoral care, talking to someone in office over the phone is impossible. You must first go through an AI agent, then to a call center, and hopefully they call you back. The facilities are in what appear to be a re-purposed home and the walls are literally falling in. Forget having a private conversation as anything said in the back can be heard through the entire office. Hope you don't mind your business being out there. HIPPA who?

I served in the 75th Ranger Regiment and US Army Special Forces for a long time and now my body is paying for it. Dr. Ashford in the 3rd pain management doctor I have seen in the last 4 years in this area. He has been the most attentive doctor I have ever seen in Georgia. He takes time to get to know you and applies all possible means to help alleviate your pain. It took me time to find a doctor that actually spent the time with me and solved my problems. I also have a genetic condition that causes my liver to reject a lot of medications, including a lot of pain medications. He has been able to get me on medications that have helped tremendously and has begun to give my life back to me. I highly recommend him and his staff. His practice it beginning to explode as many people have found this out as I have. At times there can be a wait but you have to remember the first time you saw him others may have had to wait a little longer also. He does this for everyone, so be patient as he will get to you as soon as he can. There are doctors around that got a license to practice pain management but are not anesthesiologist. If they were a good doctor to begin with they would not have the time or need to get into this field. They are out for the money only. Dr Ashford is an anesthesiologist and will not quit until he finds the best solution he can but you have to be honest about the meds or procedures if they work or not. That way he can and will continue to do his best to help you. With nearly 20 years of pain management care, the one thing I have found out is that you can't give up in trying to get yourself better. It take time and effort.

I'm not sure why this wasn't mentioned to me beforehand since I made an appointment to see the endocrinologist. Instead, I was seen by Dr. Agrawal but he completely ignored why I was there and instead focused on my weight, going as far as to ask me who I lived with and asked if my boyfriend was "big too". He asked me if I exercise and laughed at me when I said I do. He also asked me about my weight gain in the past few years and audibly gasped and made a huge deal when I told him the amount. This was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. The lack of compassion and care was shocking--I felt dismissed and judged rather than listened to and supported. I will not be returning, and I would NOT recommend this office to anyone looking for a doctor who actually cares about their patients.
