I lived in athens for 7 years and went to dr. Downs as my family doctor. She and that staff were…read moregreat. Dr. Downs was caring and to me the most important was cautious. She asked all the right questions to help identify your issue and if she felt it could be more serious she always did those tests to be sure it wasn't. Most doctors do not do this. She recommended a few specialists for me and they were all great as well. Even in those cases she would treat how she could and then the nurse would call and get me in right away at the other doctor. I would highly recommend if she is taking new patients!!

This is a difficult review to write, because Dr. Rahim is one of the best doctors I have ever seen…read more Back when she worked with Hawthorne Medical, prior to being a part of the vast "Piedmont" system, I could usually get a "sick" visit within a day or two. No more. Now, she rarely does anything other than well care visits. I don't know about other folks, but I don't just need a doctor when I am healthy. Being able to see "my" doctor when I am sick is important to me. So, in short, if you want to see the very best doctor when you are well, and go to urgent care when sick, Dr. Rahim is great. But, if you ever get sick, you will just have to deal with it yourself.

I swear, I can't stand this place if I could give it 0 stars I would. First of all you should know…read moreit's a training practice so you'll see a lot of interns. I started coming to this place September 2017 and realized early that they aren't any help. I had several problems that would cause a lot of pain with confirmed diagnosis. Each time I went there to get help they would test me for something unrelated to my pain. They weren't interested in helping me. Not only that they told me I'll be on medical leave and then after a surgery refused to signed the forms causing me to lose out on my leave pay. I'm lucky to have another doctor to fill out the leave forms or I wouldn't have a job right now. At my last appointment they were worried about bi-poplar which isn't my diagnosis at all but it's on my record for them and they never treated me for bi-polar but yet they were discussing something I don't have when I was there for my pain from surgery. I never did find out what's causing my pain. If you need a doctor that will help and listen you in your time of need don't go here! Worse experience ever.
