Subject: Feedback Regarding Appointment Experience on 9/19/25 (Marysville, OH location)…read more We are writing to share our disappointment with the service and treatment we experienced today, 9/19/25. Our appointment was scheduled on 8/21/25 by Angel for 10:15 am with Dr. Dang. We arrived on time, but the experience was not handled professionally. Upon arrival, we were greeted in a dismissive manner by the receptionist, Hailly. After waiting 15 minutes, Wendi asked if we had an appointment, explaining that none was showing in the schedule. Hailly was asked to look into the issue but stated her computer was not working properly. Ten minutes later, she abruptly told us we had canceled the appointment, which was untrue. When the situation became tense, Wendi intervened, directed Hailly to enter our information, and ensured we were able to see Dr. Dang as originally planned. While we appreciate Wendi's professionalism and the excellent care we received from Dr. Dang, the way Hailly handled the situation left us extremely dissatisfied. Because of this experience, we would be hesitant to return; however, the positive interactions with Wendi and Dr. Dang may encourage us to reconsider in the future.

The reason was that they have to "wait with a patient for 25 minutes after their shot" even though no nurse has ever waited with me after a shot for the year I have been getting them. Hard to get here after work and get a shot when they close so early. Would be great if they could cater their hours to people with jobs and families.

My right ear had slight pressure and muffled hearing My primary doctor referred me to Ohio ENT. I saw Dr Lowery today, March 14th and he was so kind and compassionate and explained everything in detail to me so I understood what he was going to do. He did a myringotomy and it was painful but it also was instant relief. The pressure is just about gone and I have regained most of my hearing. I actually cried in my car on my way home I was so happy I highly recommend Ohio ENT and Dr Lowery!

I was a patient of Michael Martyn, MD, and my experience with his care was extremely disappointing…read moreand concerning. My first visit was in December 2025. When Dr. Martyn entered the room, his appearance and demeanor immediately raised concerns about professionalism. I explained in detail that my ears retain moisture, which causes frequent wax buildup and infections. I also explained that my father and I share this condition and that his ENT successfully prescribed Sulfacetamide Otic capsules, which had also worked for me in the past. I specifically requested this medication. Instead, Dr. Martyn prescribed an antibiotic containing amoxicillin, despite my medical chart clearly stating that I am allergic to penicillin. Because of this error, it took two weeks for a replacement prescription to be sent. I took the antibiotic for 28 days, during which there was no improvement in my infection, and the left side of my face became swollen. When I contacted the office again to request the Sulfacetamide Otic capsules, I was told Dr. Martyn wanted me to come back in for another visit. My second appointment was in early January 2026. During this visit, it became clear that Dr. Martyn had not reviewed my chart thoroughly and was unaware of previous communications I had with his medical assistant, Chelsea Lenegar, despite her confirming she documented my medication request in my file. Dr. Martyn then recommended a compound pharmacy (Crosby) and stated he would send the prescription. My appointment was on a Monday, yet I received no confirmation the following day. I called multiple times throughout the week and could not reach anyone. After leaving several messages, Chelsea eventually informed me that Dr. Martyn was in surgery and had not yet signed off on my prescription, assuring me I would hear back by Friday. I did not. By the following Monday, I still had no update. At this point, my condition had worsened, my face was visibly swollen, and there was no sense of urgency from the office. I was forced to escalate the issue to Jessica Kondy, a supervisor above both Chelsea Lenegar and Dr. Martyn. Only two weeks later, I was informed that Dr. Martyn had finally reviewed my file and stated he would need either a photo of the medication bottle or a prior prescription and that he "probably" could prescribe it. After weeks of waiting, worsening symptoms, and repeated follow-ups, being told he might be able to help was unacceptable. This experience made me feel that my care was consistently deprioritized. As an African American patient, I could not help but feel dismissed and unheard throughout this process. Regardless of intent, the lack of responsiveness, organization, and urgency reflects very poorly on patient care and safety. I would not recommend Dr. Michael Martyn to others, especially those needing attentive, timely, and compassionate care. He is racist towards African American and will not care about your needs

She receives IVIG weekly for the past 12 years and will get it the rest of her life. My daughter was born with a primary immunodeficiency (Combined Immune Deficiency). Having her IVIG right now is critical to her healing. Dr. McNeil, my daughter's old immunologist, wrote in her chart that under no circumstances should she receive her IVIG treatment. Therefore, the doctors at Riverside will not go against him. The doctor Riverside Methodist hospital uses for immunology consultations is Dr Donald McNeil. He has bad history with my daughter. He was her doctor over 8 yrs ago. He and his wife own an infusion center that my daughter went to. His wife ran it. My daughter was going to have ankle surgery and found out she could do in home infusions. He was angry with her for leaving the center & fired her from his practice. He apparently holds grudges. My Daughter's current immunologist has had to step in 2 other times, most recently 2 weeks ago. This time, yesterday, the 2 doctors ( current immunologist and consultant for Riverside)had words and my daughter's doctor told him to stay away from her because he's doing more harm to her. However, Dr. McNeil is not backing down. Even though he has not physically been in to seen my daughter.

I…read morecame to this doctor with a referral from my dermatologist due to to the fact that I have many infections. My first visit I waited in the waiting room 52 minutes and 40 minutes in the exam room. He felt that my immune system is pretty good so he said that he wanted me to see an infectious disease doctor. He also agreed that I have many infections. He offered no doctors name for the referral. He told me to just look for a few different infectious disease doctors and that he would send the report. So I found a couple different infectious disease doctors and called his office for the referral. I did the legwork. The next thing you know I get a call from Samantha telling me that Dr. McNeil would referr me to an infectious disease doctor that he knew. So I'm wondering why didn't he give me the name of that doctor while I was in his office? So I finally get a referral over to the infectious disease doctor and they say they need bloodwork & all test that were done so I have to go back to Samantha again to tell them to send this stuff. She says Dr. McNeil is out of town but he will be back on Wednesday and that she will talk to him and they will get the blood test together & whatever the infectious disease doctor needs and that they will send it to him. She also discussed with me that maybe I should consider getting a different urologist. At no time did they say they were not going to send the referral so I wait until Fridayand call the infectious disease doctor back. They tell me they never received the referral with the test results. I called Samantha back to be told that they weren't going to send the referral they just feel that I need to get a new urologist. The communication in this office with the patient unbelievably horrible. I have a doctor telling me he wants me to see an infectious disease doctor but yet they never send over any of the blood test that the infectious disease doctor needed. No one communicated with me as to what her and the doctor talked about on Wednesday and they knew that I was waiting for those test to go over to the infectious disease doctor. When you have infections your entire life this kind of treatment really gets you down and just makes me want to just give up on finding any kind of a true, caring, professional doctor. You won't get it from this office.
