I came in to do an evaluation. The therapist I had was Andres. He was very rude from the minute I got there. He questioned everything I did. Why wasn't I putting effort in? I explained why, he just rolled his eyes. I asked how much weight was the box that I was lifting before weights. He said "Don't worry about it". During my evaluation, clients were coming in (all white), He spoke to all of them said goodbye to all of them very nicely, then continue to still be rude to me. The evaluation was supposed to take 4 hours. He did my evaluation in 2 hours. At the end of my evaluation he told me when I get home ( I'm thinking he's going to tell me to ice or put heat on whatever that is hurting me) that I should really think if I put in my full effort into my evaluation. Tell me he's been doing this for over forty years, so he knows what he's talking about. I couldn't believe how rude he was to me. Then it was the coldest day we had, below 0 outside. So after I was done, I started my car from my remote starter and sat in the lobby. He comes out to the lobby and says to me "Are you waiting for a ride or something?" VERY RUDELY! I said no, "I'm warming up my car." He was like, "oh okay, I was wondering why you're still here." I feel that I was discriminated on so many levels, because one, of my race. Two because of the reason why I was there. read more
