I absolutely love Terri at Healthy Expectations. She helped me get my life back!! When I arrived at…read moreTerri's office a year ago, I was so defeated and feeling terrible. I had been on a long two year road of several needed surgeries that had caused nerve damage to my pelvic area. I had a hypertonic pelvis due to the stress and all my pain. I ended up seeing a doctor in Chicago that recommended Terri who she felt was the best therapist in Fort Wayne. I had been to Steppin up for a few weeks when I was referred by my Dr here in town but they really didn't do much for me. The knowledge at Steppin Up just wasn't there. Steppin Up versus Healthy Expectations was night and day! On the first day I met Terri, I really couldn't do much of anything . Sitting and walking was hard to do. I just felt terrible and very depressed. Over time she taught me skills on how to release and stretch my hips and pelvic area. Calm my flared nerves that caused me so much pain. Terri taught me ways to breath to relax my tense muscles. I stayed dedicated to seeing Terri twice a week along with my Dr in Chicago. I did all the homework Terri gave me to do and listened to her calm words of advice. After seeing Terri for almost a year, I am almost pain free. I have started doing things I used to enjoy and slowly feel my life is returning back to normal. It's so important to have a good physical therapist that understands the process of healing, patience that is needed to fully heal and pushes you. Dealing with pelvic issues and nerve damage isn't fun or a topic you want to share with the world. I want to share how important it is to take action if you feel something is wrong. Terri is not only a pelvic therapist but deals with other issues in the body. I will be forever grateful to Terri! I absolutely would not be where I am today without her. I would highly recommend Healthy Expectations!!

I would give Kingston Care negative stars if it were an option, so don't let my one star fool you…read more My mom has been there a week and I have been there 12 hours a day caring for her because we all know there are never enough CNAs to care for all the patients. This morning my 90-year-old mom was let alone on the toilet at 7:30 a.m. half cleaned up, poop on everything and the CNA never returned. She got herself back to bed and had to walk through poop all over the floor. I arrived at 9 with her breakfast to find her a mess. No one answered the call light. I walked the halls asking for help. Finally I went to therapy and had to reschedule her OT and clean her up, get her dressed, and clean up the room myself. I requested an administrator meet with me to discuss my experience and I expected them to speak with me and help me. Instead they wouldn't let me speak and only wanted my mom to speak and she didn't know who they were or why they were there. She's hearing impaired and didn't know what they were saying. One didn't like that I was angry and wanted to speak, and was so patronizing and condescending. I was even more upset after the interaction with the staff I asked to help me. I was told my tone was unprofessionally and if I kept it I would be asked to leave and escorted out if I returned. My tone is much stronger now and I hope my mom is alive when I go back to get her out of that place. Please do not put anyone you love in this place. My dad was at Ashton Creek for three weeks and I gave them five stars.

I was there for a knee replacement physical therapy. I saw a nurse when they took me to my room. I never saw another sole up until 7:30 when my daughter arrived to get me. No dinner, missed my pain medication that was due at 6:30. I pushed the call button at 15 minute intervals 4 times from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. no one ever answered them. when my daughter came to get me and wheeled me out we never saw a nurse, receptionist or anyone to tell I was leaving so we just left. No one ever called because I was missing!! Please don't put anyone in this place that you care about. I still have dreams about it.
