I was so excited to hear Summit nails was opening in Summerlin, we've been missing a luxury nail salon! I've gotten two pedicures from here and both were amazing. They actually time the massage to make sure you get the full minutes included in the package. The facility is clean and all the staff are friendly and great, doesn't matter who you get! So based on these experiences I decided to try them for my nails while my nail tech was out of town and I'm SO happy I did! Emily was my nail tech and was quick and precise. I'm super particular about my nails and I didn't even have to ask her to fix anything. I almost love them more than the nail tech I've been going to for the past two years! This salon deserves zero stars. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff greeted us warmly, but that was where the hospitality ended. When it was our turn, the technician simply pointed at us, said my daughter's name, and walked toward the pedicure chairs without any greeting, introduction, or even basic customer service such as offering a drink. Once seated, we were only given one polish color board unless we wanted to pay an additional $15. The technician turned on the water extremely hot without checking if the temperature was comfortable. She then began my daughter's pedicure without asking what scent she wanted and added the product to the water without consulting her. During the service, she suddenly got up and walked away for several minutes without saying a word. Later during service she accepted a phone call and talked for several minutes. When my technician came over, she also skipped any introduction or hospitality, though she at least offered me two scent options. Unfortunately, the quality of both pedicures was among the worst we've experienced. For my pedicure, my feet were still rough afterward because there was very little exfoliation, the massage had virtually no pressure, I specifically asked not to have my nails cut but the technician cut them anyway (including cutting my skin), and my nails were left uneven because they were not properly filed. My gel polish also has bubbles and an uneven finish. For my daughter's pedicure, the nail shaping was uneven even after asking for corrections three separate times. She requested a French pedicure with a slightly pink base, but several toes have different base colors, the tips are uneven, and there is noticeable residue left underneath the nails. To make matters worse, when we checked out, the pricing did not match what was listed online or in the salon's service menu. We were genuinely hoping to love this salon, but unfortunately this was one of the worst salon experiences we've had, and we will not be returning. read more

They have over 20 chairs for pedicures and stay consistently busy. I've had great experiences as well as mediocre ones. My first time, I went all out with the Lush pedicure. While the products were nice, my pedicure wasn't anything special, and that's just as important as all the extras. My second and third time I got the deluxe option, which is still an upgrade from the basic pedi, and I had great experiences. Alyssa has been my favorite tech so far. They should offer champagne for a full luxury treat. Or maybe a nice latte. Something above and beyond the normal. read more

I was serviced by Gloria and she did such an amazing job! I was serviced the 24k Gold Pedicure resulting at $115 with regular polish/ polish and $135 with gel ($20 add on for gel polish) , and i have to say it had to be one of the best pedicures ive received! as a licensed technician myself, and also being in the industry i can say this was such a phenomenal experience all thanks to Gloria! i am usually very picky and attentive but she did such an amazing job that i was able to just relax and enjoy. I was given a 30 minutes hand massage WOW!! i didn't like the massage gun so she just proceeded to hand massage the entire 30 minutes. overall, this is such an amazing salon for it being open for only 4 months, so modern and gorgeous on the inside and i know this location will do so great ! read more

I got a medium almond shape ($73), added chrome + French tips ($25), and a cuticle cleanup ($10) because mine definitely needed some love. Sean was AMAZING -- so kind, efficient, and detail-oriented. I couldn't make an appointment online for some reason so I was able to do it in person. My daughter and I came on a Friday evening around six, and it was not busy at all, but there was a steady stream of customers. The facility is nice, clean, new, comfortable, and definitely caters to parties or crowds. Natalie did my gel cat eye regular manicure while my little daughter got a nice glitter kids manicure. With the discount it came out to about $65 for both of us plus tip. I enjoyed the space and service but wish I was offered something off their drink menu which looked appealing (entitled I know lol). I told the manager they should def open a boba bar in their coffee bar space. Anyhow, have a pedicure scheduled for Sunday to same advantage of their soft opening special before they grand open on the 7th. Stopped by this new nail salon near Honey Salt and had a really nice experience overall. The interior is super inviting and cozy, very clean, and the staff is friendly from the moment you walk in. I booked online with Alice and received a confirmation for an appointment with her, but when I arrived I was assigned to Scott instead. Scott was friendly and welcoming, though I had looked through reviews beforehand to see who was recommended, so that part was a little unexpected. My manicure still turned out nice -- I did a chrome manicure with polka dots. The only small downside was that the polka dots weren't perfectly symmetrical, which would've made it 100% perfect. That said, I'm still happy with how it came out. Bonus points for the little extras: they offer discounts on certain days for seniors, military/medical personnel, students, and more. They also have sodas, coffee, and tea available while you're there, which is always appreciated. Overall, a solid experience and a great addition to the area. Never noticed it before so I decided to give it a try, and I'm so happy to have done so. I got a Zen Relief CBD pedicure with gel polish and worked with Kim. She was such a joy and super careful and sweet. My pedicure was so well done! The setup was luxurious (see my photo) and the place was so nice and clean with a professional staff. They offer hot tea, water or soda so I got a jasmine tea and it was so good. They served it in a to go cup so I could take it with me as well which is very convenient. Overall I would recommend this place. They're pretty new (about 4 months old) so let's get it noticed! read more

NEVER again!! UPDATE: Any Salon who responds to your concerns by saying you that you used the wrong polish remover AND that a classic manicure requires 100% acetone to remove is LYING! I guarantee you that 99% of clients that get a classic manicure expect to remove it easily at home. I've used the same brand of nail polish remover for 20 years with no issues until I came to Summit. Regular nail polish should not require 100% acetone which is harmful for your nails. I really hope it's not regular practice for your salon to tell your clients that the issue is all their fault. Shame on you and your crappy customer service!!!! ORIGINAL POST: I WILL NOT BE RETURNING! I went in for what I specifically requested...a regular manicure and pedicure. No gel, nothing special. Yet when I tried to remove it, the polish would NOT come off. I spent nearly 30 minutes using acetone remover (yes, acetone - photo attached) and it barely made a dent other than reducing the shine. I ended up having to go back to the salon just to get it removed which completely defeats the purpose of getting a regular manicure in the first place! Instead of taking accountability, they insisted I must have used the "wrong remover" and claimed I didn't use acetone... which I absolutely did. Another staff member then tried to explain it by saying they use "professional-grade" products. That's a lame excuse when I've been getting my nails done for over 30 years and ALWAYS remove it at home. If your "regular manicure" requires a return trip to your salon to remove it, then it is NOT a regular manicure, it's a rip off! To the owner: When clients come in expecting something low-maintenance and leave stuck with something they can't even remove themselves you are wasting their time and money.
