Due to their mess ups, it gave me a massive infection in my mouth. They also, do not inform you if they screw something up, or have to add additional treatments to your dental bill for the extra work they had to do due to them not being careful. On my first visit, photos were taken of each of my teeth at no charge. The whole staff was so kind, without being awkward and overly-friendly like some in the dental field can be. The dentist spent over half an hour with me after my cleaning discussing my past dental work, where he sees my smile going in the future, etc. I had Invisalign in the past at another dentist and Oakview Dental seemed to be much more informed about the process than even the dentist who orignally performed it on me. On my appointment day I arrived and was called back almost immediately. Had the pleasure of being seen by Doctor Snyder and he was amazing. Great conversation, steady hand, very conscious of my comfort and he did an amazing job. He showed me before & after photos and I thought that was a great use of technology so the patient can see what was accomplished. The facility was new, clean, modern and very impressive (They even had TV's mounted on the ceiling) (lol). The staff was friendly, welcoming and very professional. I had an exceptionally amazing experience and I look forward to going to my next appointment with them. I would recommend this location to anyone I know in need of a good Dentist. They said they would make sure it was done. It is Feb and still not done. I have communicated with them three times and after that I left it alone. In June 2022 I am getting a bill for 137 dollars. I have never paid for a cleaning as they are covered under my insurance. I left them another message stating you can write this off because it was your error in not billing on time. Don't ever go here for any services. I could never get a straight answer or a resolution.

From tooth cleaning to more complicated issues they are always able help or get you to the right person who will. Dr. Jackson has been super and even took calls on the weekend when I had an issue to offer guidance on next steps. I also love the fact that there never seems to be any complicated insurance issues. The admin team here is on top of paperwork and there's no surprises. Highly recommend this office and practice for any dental care. They are currently taking on new clients.

My normal dentist (Dr. Spanel) wasn't there due to schedule changes and they never called to let me know, so he didn't do my exam. In addition they have made the following financial changes..... 1. Charging a credit card processing fee of 3% 2. Requiring you to pay upfront to even schedule the appointment for the work you haven't even gotten done instead of paying on the day you get work done. 3. Have you sign a contract to allowing them to Charge a fee if you don't cancel within a timeframe. ( I've not experienced this but would hope there is some leniency) Either way is very off-putting. 4. They actually have a virtual assistant that answers the phone?!?! Just confirms the lack of interest they have in actually being personable. It's transitional care for financial gain and not focused on the client anymore which is too bad because it was an amazing place.

I found out that Dr. Spanel has sold the practice to a private equity group and he's now working there as an independent contractor. The new owners told the office staff to turn away anybody who wouldn't immediately fill out the MyChart stuff. I was still standing at the front counter discussing the situation when everybody just walked away and left me standing there. I'm glad Dr. Spanel is lining up his retirement, he's a great dentist. The new owners can go pound sand with their demands. Creighton University fills Omaha with batches of new dentists every year, and I am currently shopping for a new dentist.

At my follow up cleaning in September, I confronted him directly about the ongoing billing issues and the dismissive treatment I'd been getting. He told me, "We will get this taken care of," and took every document I brought - the estimate, the bills, phone logs - everything. I finally thought someone was taking this seriously. Instead, nothing changed. A few weeks later, I received the exact same $2,500 bill with no explanation, no update, nothing. When I called again, a staff member offered a payment plan but then told me the amount I could actually afford was not accepted by the doctor - he needed double the monthly payment. When I asked for time to figure things out, communication suddenly stopped. My calls were not returned, my messages were ignored, and even my email received no response. I was calling weekly with no progress. Today, after months of trying to resolve this with the office directly, I found out they sent my bill to collections without notifying me. After everything, this was how they chose to handle it. I have never dealt with such poor communication, lack of follow- through, and disregard for patient's concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office to anyone.
