They sent a kid who tells me the issue may be a cracked heat exchange & carbon monoxide leaking because I told him I had gotten dizzy before he arrived. Instead of telling me at that point he doesn't have the proper equipment to detect a CO leak he runs out to his work truck several times looking for equipment he knew he did not have. When he finally comes clean about not having the equipment he needs, he says for me to call the Fire Dept. because they have the equipment. I'm foolishly thinking YOU ARE A HEATING REPAIR COMPANY if you don't have the equipment someone in your company should right? WRONG!! I called the owner who tells me they tell all of their customers in an instance like this to call the Fire Dept. Owner proceeds to say, because the kid drove here, spent 45 minutes removing screws which he should not have & feeding a camera with as the kid put it, "not very good picture" in the furnace he earned the fee. Kid told me furnace had rust. I had to call a reputable company and the Fire Dept. who both confirmed no CO. Real repair guy says there is no crack and showed me pictures of inside furnace with NO RUST. Thank God furnace is running properly. Not only did these guys make off with $141 of my money but had nerve to say once Fire Dept. comes out call them back, here is your call back!!!

The office crew had handled so much of the paperwork details for my house that would normally be on the purchaser to handle. The installers themselves were incredibly professional and shows a true aptitude for their work that they do. They also answered any questions that were asked with professional courtesy and educating information. This company is the kind you want for this kind of work on your home. Definitely would recommend this company for anyone that needs new heating and cooling systems. The whole process took 2 weeks only because we wanted to look at other places first. Contact them quickly before they get super busy and have to take longer for your service.

Their receptionist Karen was very friendly and helpful and contacted me back with a plumber who showed up within a half hour. Sam was very knowledgeable and taught me about sump pumps. He figured out one of our sump pumps, that no plumber has ever looked at, was dead so he replaced it and the water started going down. He said if we still needed our outside drain tile routed, we could make an appointment and they would come back out. We will use them again for our other plumbing needs. I highly recommend Salyer for quality work and peace of mind!

I chose Van Drunen over several other A/C companies to install Central Air in my home. The owner, Keith Van Drunen, is a man of integrity. Van Drunen dispatched a representative to inspect the work, but he denied the existence of the problem. After trial and error, we were able to localize the leak to where the vent connects to the unit. I went on the roof and sealed it myself. Meanwhile, the unit ran out of freon just after the warranty expired and causing all my tenant's food to spoil. The service representative was almost tauntingly rude to me when explaining the issue. I contacted a semi-retired HVAC man from Lansing who advised that someone drilled a hole in the unit to leak the freon. Use this company at your own risk. There are so many much more dependable and professional companies in the NW Indiana/South Chicago area.

Gino Rosado and his helper did the work today. They were both friendly and hard working. The cost of the job was reasonable. I was also given a $100 credit because of our location. Used an AI assistant to do a cross-comparison of all the local companies who do this sort of work, (price, service, reviews, integrity, friendliness, timeliness, etc) and Mann Made was the #1 recommended. Called them from the road on my way driving home from vacation and explained the situation, and they made arrangements to meet me at my house less than 3 hours after I arrived home. Gino, their well pump specialist, was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and honest. Ultimately I ended up needing a new well pump (really can't complain- turns out it was the original one from when the house was built 32 years ago!) and I got an incredibly reasonable price and a crew of sweet, fun, kind, and professional guys who showed up 36 hours later to install the new pump. Gino, Kyle and Gavin were SO fast, did seamless work, and honestly, this was the best possible experience I could have hoped for. I have a laundry list of other projects I've been putting off and I'll be using Mann Made for all of them going forward. Special note to the ladies out there: Many times in the past I have felt taken advantage of when trying to get quotes from plumbers, electricians, etc... They raise the price because they think I'm too stupid to know better and I call it the "girl tax" they add on. These guys were the TOTAL opposite. If anything, they gave me as much of a break on the price as they were able to. If you're looking for trustworthy, friendly, honest and top-notch work, these are your guys to go to!
