This place is the BEST. My mom and I both got spray tans by Catherine, and she was phenomenal. We were getting tans for my mom's wedding, and we opted for the mobile option. We are from out of town and were both nervous to get tanned by a new place right before a wedding. However, right when we met Catherine, we knew we were in good hands. She showed up early, set up quickly, and was incredibly sweet and easy to get along with. She was efficient during the tanning process, but my mom and I could tell how detailed she was. I got nervous when I asked about lotion on my feet, knees, hands, etc. I verbally told her I was worried since they "do not use lotion there." She said not to worry and I thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt, after a bit of doubt on my part. Well, I was right. Hands, knees, and toes are waaayy lighter. Feet and wrists are darker and splotchy. One can tell I have a fake tan because of these things and that is exactly what I did not want. I do not recommend this place. Got my first ever spray tan before my bachelorette party and had a great experience. My spray tan turned out so good and I got lots of compliments! I just unfortunately can not get over the smell :( I don't know if it's just my body type but the smell of the spray tan haunted me for days- even after multiple showers. I took Sunmer Sheens train and couldn't be any happier! I had to drive 3 hours for training and will do it again if I have to. She was quick to respond to all my questions online before my appointment. When I arrived with my model she was very informative and made us feel extremely comfortable since it was my models first time being sprayed. This was a great experience. The results were amazing. I'm a fair white skinned male who has been working out at the gym pretty regularly. I was scheduled to attend an event out of town where I would be shirtless most of the time. Being that I wanted to spare the public my blinding whiteness, I thought it would be a good idea to get a spray tan and perhaps contour the definition in my torso. Joanna's expertise really impressed me. I was worried since my skin was so fair, that the results would turn out orange. Not at all! After the base tan application, Joanna airbrushed the contours of my muscle tone with a slightly darker shade for the desired effect. After the first shower 12 hours later, the results really started to look good. After the second shower the next day, I looked amazing! It was nice to see all that hard work in the gym really paying off, and I felt totally confident showing it off! The event was a total success and I had many compliments from both men & women. The tan lasted about 8 days. I was careful to shower with only water and the body wash Joanna had available at Summer Sheen. I also used an extender that helped the tan last. On about the 5th day, I could see some fading across my shoulders. It gradually wore off over the next several days. Totally worth it! read more
