Bare Organics has been doing my spray tans--and all of my friends' spray tans--for years, and they have never let us down. One time, I decided to try somewhere else, and I was extremely disappointed. I immediately thought, "Why did I try to fix what wasn't broken?" From now on, Bare Organics is the only place I trust for my spray tans. The color is always beautiful and natural-looking, and they offer different shade options based on your skin tone and personal preferences. Best of all, their tans last longer than any others I've tried--typically about a week. The team is always polite, friendly, and professional. The owner, Alex, is an absolute sweetheart who genuinely wants the best for her customers. I'm so grateful to have Bare Organics in my hometown! This business single handling makes me feel like the best version of myself and gives me so much confidence! I can't recommend them enough!! I absolutely love them!! read more

Getting your first spray tan before your wedding is nerve wracking but Bare Organic Tan made the whole experience SO pleasant! I worked with Alex, the owner, throughout the process and she was the best - from helping me schedule my trial run and my wedding day tan, timing both sessions so that the trial tan would fade and blend perfectly into my wedding day tan, and ultimately helping me achieve the most perfect tan on my wedding day! Alex is so helpful, experienced, and also the sweetest person ever! It is apparent she loves what she does and is passionate about helping her customers achieve their perfect tan. They are located in the Del Mar Flower Hill Promenade plaza. I didn't have any issues finding parking both times. I made appointments ahead of time and they were easy to work with on scheduling based on my availability and when I would be able to shower, etc. I loved every interaction I had with Alex and obviously my wedding tan. Not only did it look amazing on the actual wedding day, it faded really well and continued to look great for the following days. I will absolutely be coming here every time I need some color and I can't wait to be back! read more

I look like a million bucks! I have the most beautiful tan and it looks so natural. Thank you Bare Organic.

Polina was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. The tan was perfect as were the instructions. My tan took a beating almost immediately as we were very active in Hawaii --body boarding, hiking, snorkeling. Yet it held up well. I'll be back! read more

Enjoyed getting the tan but even though I followed directions color rubbed off on my clothes and sheets and my hat.

This place is incredible! They do an amazing job and they make you feel so comfortable. 10/10 recommend. The only place I go now! read more

I've tried many spray tan salons before, and this was my favorite experience yet! Madelyn was super friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the fact that the spray tan room had a space heater --its little touches like this that made me feel confident that I was in the right spot for a great spray tan...which turned out great btw! read more

Alex was amazing! Super sweet and communicative. Very friendly and explained everything very well. My tan for my birthday weekend was PHENOMENAL! It came out flawless and just the perfect shade. My husband kept giving me compliments on my tan. It faded very nicely as well. No splotchiness while fading. I also purchased the CUTEST cropped sweater that says "Malibu" on the front. Perfection! **This photo was 4 days after I got my airbrush tan. read more

Bare Organic Tan - Getting ready to hit the beach - Spray Tanning Near Me - Del Mar, California

Best place for a spray tan! Alex, the owner is amazing and so lovely! I won't go anywhere but there for a spray tan!

I am SO GLAD I was recommended to Bare Organic Tan! I usually get mystic tans, but wanted to get the "real deal" for a photoshoot and my upcoming wedding. Suffice to say, I may never do mystics again because the airbrush tan Helena gave me is THE BEST TAN I have ever had, EVER. She walked through each step with me to make sure I was completely satisfied befoer leaving, made sure to give me all the important information to sustain my tan, but most importantly, she made me feel so comfortable and confident! Officially my go to place! I HIGHLY recommend getting your tan with Bare Organic Tan. read more

I've been going to Bare Organic for years because Alex & her team are the absolute BEST! I am a fair girlie that wants to feel tanned and glowy without the sun exposure. I've had my fair share of horrible spray tans over the years and I've never been let down here. It's always natural looking! Always on my checklist of things to do before any trip or big event! Highly recommend! read more

Great service and experience! I appreciated the care and attention to detail. I love how it turned out too!

I have gotten many spray tans before and this was the best one ever, the lady who did my tan was amazing. She explained everything and did not make me feel uncomfortable being naked. The tan lasted a long time, definitely worth the money. read more

I cannot recommend Bare Organic Tan enough! They were extremely professional & efficient. I opted for the express tan and it turned out great. The employees are extremely kind and understanding; I had to bring my baby in tow and they were both patient and helped out with her so I could get my tan complete. 10 out of 10 experience for me and I will definitely be back! read more

I came in on a weekday afternoon. I had never been to this salon but based on the excellent reviews I decided to give it a try. I usually do a spray tan once a week as I can't be in the sun. So I am very familiar with the process. I also have a professional machine of my own at home and have been spray tanning for 10 years. I know the importance of exfoliating and I am very aware of the aftercare and the importance of moisturizing with a good quality lotion. The communication and ease of making an appointment was great! I was going out of town on a beach vacation and definitely needed a tan. The salon was super cute and very clean. The technician was sweet and seemed knowledgeable but overall my tan looked terrible. She assured me that my color would be very close to what I looked like when I walked out. Which was a golden bronze so I was super excited! I ended up showering about 10-12 hours after my tan had developed. And my color was anything but what it looked like when I had walked out of the salon. I had a white stripe on the back of my leg that looked as if it got missed. And it was a bit patchy and had an orange tint which I expressed prior to that tan that I did not want. The worst part is that I literally did not go in the water on our 3 day trip to Cozumel. I was way to embarrassed! After 6 days my tan now looks worse than ever. To pay almost $60 for a tan to look this way is very upsetting! For a first time client it is $49 and there is a yelp coupon that says you can save an additional 20 percent off. So I thought my tan would be around $39 but apparently new clients can't use that coupon because it's already discounted. It's unfortunate that it is not specified anywhere on that coupon. So just a fair warning!! It should say new clients excluded. That was misleading but hey want can you do. Lesson learned for me. read more

Bare Organic Tan - Spray Tanning Near Me - Del Mar, California

I've never had an in person spray tan, only the stand up machine kind, but I just found out I'm pregnant and I didn't want to inhale a bunch of chemicals. I had a great experience here! I wish I could remember the name of the really sweet young blonde girl that works here. She's super nice, explains everything really well, and makes sure you're comfortable! I wasn't sure if I wanted to drop my panties in front of a stranger 5 mins after we met (not sure why because I get Brazilian wax every month anyway, but this was a first for me), but she was super nice and so friendly! I felt like we had known each other. I told her I was getting married and we talked and talked like old girlfriends. The tan turned out PERFECT! I'm in Maui now and I'm still rocking my organic tan. Love this place. Highly recommend! read more

The kindest owner and best experience ever! Accommodating and totally comfortable. Great result too.

I had never gotten a tan before in my life, and after hearing horror storries of streaky tigers, half bakers ("Ross from Friends"), and tangerines I took it upon myself to do my research to safely and comfortably shed my pale office skin before a vacation. I am so glad to have found Alex with Bare Organic Tan! She makes you feel completely at ease and lets you know exactly what the process and product is. Which by the way is amazing - no smell, no weird tints, feels amazing! I am hooked! I will absolutely be coming back! read more

She did such a good job with my "base tan" I didn't get a real tan in Mexico! But really, the spray tan worked so well, I lathered up on the sunscreen during vacation and my future self will be very happy with me in 20 years :) I have been twice before and felt very comfortable. Very professional and followed up via text to see how the tan was and to wish my a great trip. read more

Alex and her team are amazing and have been in the business for years. Very professional and nice staff. My tan was natural, well-covered and fared better in the ocean than pool but ok for a weekend!

Just received my first ever spray tan. Alex came to my home, set up, thoroughly explained the process and products, answered my questions and finished up in 30 minutes. What a nice, pleasant and enjoyable experience. I am already pleased with the tanning results but most impressed by Alex's professionalism, knowledge and expertise. She is clearly talented, enjoys what she does and also embodies the qualities of a passionate small business owner whom we all should feel proud to support with future business. Thank you Alex. Well done! read more

As a chemical sensitive person who wouldn't be caught dead looking like a fake tan Cheeto, I was hesitant to try out my first round under the instant sunshine spray can. But considering my upcoming mid-winter trip to the tropics and not wanting to be accidentally confused for a beached beluga whale I knew something had to be done. That's when my Yelp search found my organic spray tan soulmate - Alex. I decided to wear a skimpy thong under my loose maxi skirt and oversized Tshirt and flip flops (she said to wear loose fit clothes). Alex made me feel so confident and comfortable, considering that I stood there butt naked (in my thong) for 15-mins while she painted my body like a piece of art. The best part is I had ZERO reaction to the spray tan as the organic ingredients are legit with no nasty chemicals! 6 hours later I looked like I had the perfect mid-summer natural tan. It miraculously smoothed out my cellulite and gave me a warm glow all over. When I tried on my bikini back at home after my shower I actually looked good! I'm so happy with the whole experience and cannot wait to get on the beach tomorrow for my winter vacation. read more

After my initial review Alex, the owner, reached out to me and explained what happened. The employee scheduled to give me my tan made a mistake and did not follow policy of arriving 15min before the customer and instead arrived only a minute beforehand. I'm certain from Alex's sincere apology that she dealt with the issue. She also kindly offered to make my next visit notable for all of the right reasons this time. I appreciated her honesty and sincerity. read more

Bare Organic Tan - Appointment accepted and reminder. - Spray Tanning Near Me - Del Mar, California

Going into Bare Organic Tan is a revive for both my skin and my soul! I walk in feeling meh, and leave every time with a one of a kind glow. Before finding Bare, I would leave spray tans blotchy or orange, two things I never want out of a tan. But not with Alex and her amazing products and staff. These girls are total pros and go above and beyond to accommodate you -- every single time! It's the owners purpose to make you feel like the god/goddess you are and she does the most incredible job at doing that with what appears effortlessly ! I would not trust anyone else or any other product to come near me with self-tanner as it really *is* about the person behind the sprayer as much as it's the product coming at you. Bare has THE Best customer service; THE best product; and is hands down THE best tanning salon ANYWHERE, especially in all of California, North County San Diego and San Diego. Do yourself a favor and look no more, come get sun kissed at Bare! read more
