I had been to Black & White before, but didn't have the same appreciation for coffee then as I do now, so decided it was the perfect choice. I arrived on a humid, stormy Saturday afternoon around 2. There were several patrons sitting and enjoying the comforts of black and white. It's an inviting atmosphere with lots of tables. The service is friendly, warm and fast!! There's one person on the register and the other is making the coffee!! I ordered a hot brown sugar cinnamon latte with oat milk and a cinnamon pull apart! They were both exactly what I was hoping for for today's coffee shop Saturday!! I sat near the front at a two top table and enjoyed sitting while watching the storm roll in. So glad I decided on stopping in.

Most seating is upstairs accessible by a staircase (fairly certain there isn't an elevator option), so that's the main heads up in case of any accessibility needs. Their muffins are also a nice pairing with the coffee. Highly recommend!

I ordered the seasonal latte which I can't remember what it was called. It had turmeric and some other spaces, I believe it was called the bee latte and it was excellent. I hear the Orange Blossom latte is also really good. Also, check out the upstairs seating area. This is a great coffee shop to spend some time in and also for remote work.

They have a huge drink menu, coffee, cold brews, their famous coffee smoothies, juice smoothies, and all types of teas from matcha to milk tea. There's so many options. The team behind the counter were very nice & helpful it being my first time. It's not fancy, but cute and cozy. There's lots of seating, plenty of outlets for laptops, it's a great place to work. The outdoor patio is covered with plenty of tables. I ordered the iced coconut latte and one of the baked goods from a local bakery on display at the counter. The latte was delicious & the Crumbcake was fresh and okay.

I love their commitment to organic, eco-friendly coffee and products--most if not all of their coffee is Fair Trade and shade-grown in addition to being organic, and I'm pretty sure their cups are compostable. They've also got a program where you can pay for a cup of coffee, and a token gets added to a jar next to the register. Anyone who finds themselves needed a warm cup of coffee but lacking the means to pay can come in and use a token from the jar. Such a great program that shows how much they value and support our community.

I come here pretty much 5 days a week. Dirty Matcha (3 espresso), almond milk, iced…read more Today I sent my crew member to order exactly this and they gave her a regular matcha with 3 espresso on the side. I went back to ask for it to be remade, since this is not what I wanted and I haven't touched any of the product, which usually would be no problem, especially since the young man at the counter was very new. The first answer I got was "we don't do that here", which is not true, then the somewhat curtly brown haired white girl said "well I can just pour it in there for you! It will be the same thing!" Laughing and rolling her eyes. Which I prompted that I really would rather have it remade, since it will affect the flavor and it was not what I had ordered. She continued to try to go back and forth with me about remaking my drink trying to make it seem like it's a problem and telling me "the way you came in was a lot" even though I asked multiple times, very nicely and tried to make clear, that my problem right now is about the attitude my complaint was handled with because I understand that mistakes can happen. I also understand that it shouldn't be a problem to make it right at the end without making fun and rolling eyes. My remade drink was still wrong and it was obvious that it was purposely this time, since I told her my order again, she repeated it and still proceeded to use a LG cup instead of a regular, but continued using regular cup measurements+ 1 espresso shot (which is also not what would come in there regularly). Even after I mentioned, again, that it was supposed to be 3 espresso shots( she charged me for another 2 shots, which is fine, I'm not here to get anything for free, I really just wanted my one drink made right) she handed me a regular matcha, 3 espresso in a large cup, filled up with milk to the top. Again, this is not what I ordered. But I had to go to my own job so I had no time to go through this again. Side note: a large drink would usually come with 4 shots. I don't even work at this place and am aware of this. However, some of these "baristas" need some serious training when it comes to customer service. Sad, because I actually really like this place and the girl and guy that usually are there in the morning are awesome.
