Upon entering we were greeted by a wonderfully sweet lady that seated us. She got us a table that was close to the stage where a very talented man was playing. His music was very heartfelt and soulful. Our server came to the table and got our drink order immediately. We had our drinks in less than one minute and that's no exaggeration. He then came back and asked what we would be having n to eat. We ordered the fried green tomatoes with bang bang shrimp, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and blackened tuna with broccoli. Everything came out and was cooked to perfection. I cannot stress how good the food was. The service was even better. We really enjoyed the guy playing as well. We were in Sully's in Petal today to celebrate the retirement of my cousin. There were about 20 of us all family and I have to say it was a great experience. Grace, our server was amazing!! She never appeared frustrated or overwhelmed. The food was great as usual but I can't say enough about our server. Our glasses were always full and she remembered every thing we requested. Our disappointment came in our wait time to be seated, apparently they did not have any clean silverware (early evening before any real rush). Another disappointment was ordering an appetizer which never came. We asked for it to be removed from the ticket and it was Also the presentation of our burgers was not what you would expect. Instead of possibly a steak knife through the middle, a flimsy plastic picnic knife was used, nothing big but did not seem up to par. We met some friends there Saturday night for dinner. There were 11 of us and we were seated promptly. Our server came and took our drink orders. She was a great server. My wife and I shared the special. Pan baked flounder with smoked paprika and garlic cream sauce, with a side of baked popcorn shrimp, fried squash,broccoli and a side salad. It was amazing. I must say I was surprised. I stepped in a few years ago but left due to the lack of service. We all know those are hard in the service industry, so I didn't hold that against them. Gave them another try tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Had crab claws, which were delicious. Also, had the tuna, which I will have to say, wasn't the best but the filet made up for it, it was wonderful, like really good. I had a side of asparagus and a loaded baked potato, which all hit the spot. Rounded out the night with homemade cheesecake, which was one of the best I have ever had. Great server. The service is always great. I've been several times and there isn't consistency on certain things. I've order the mahi mahi grilled now 4x in a row and it hasn't been served the same way twice. It's either served blackened, or cooked to saw dust stage or somewhere in the middle resembling blackened grilled but also so salty that it wasn't possible to even eat a quarter. I wanted to really enjoy Sully's! We arrived with a party of 12 on a Sunday. We waited for about 45 minutes before being seated. I did let the staff know it would be a birthday dinner. Maybe it was my fault, and I should have suggested a dining experience that wasn't in the middle of the dining floor. But maybe that's their largest table? Ok, No problem. Folks are hungry, we take the center floor table, anyway. We've been waiting awhile folks are parched. It takes 20 minutes after we sit for our water to come out. When it's finally time to order we realize we have 1 waitress for a table of 12 people... what?? So many of our orders were wrong. Substitutions, etc. even when it got so late that other waitresses were freed, no one jumped in to get us in and out. I got my food to go, so I could eat in the parking lot. The food was good, but I really didn't care for the hamburger steak. It was really flat and I didn't care for the gravy on it. Also, I didn't know it's not just beside the bar, It's all open and connected. The lady on the restaurant side couldn't take my order. I had to go to the bar to place my food order. I didn't like that at all. I personally won't go back, unless I'm starving. Then I might try a different and it would definitely be to go. So first you need to make a reservation min-Friday if you have a big party or want to go during dinner. To make one you must go online and fill out some info and boom you got your reservation. We got there 30 min before our reservation and we were seated when we walked in. Staff was so very friendly and attentive. Now let's talk good ....sweet tea was the best we have had !! We started out with blue crab claws grilled ( not fried) and the jalapeño cheese curds both were so good. We were hesitant with the blue crab since we had it the day before at another place and it was horrible. We all got steaks two ribeye and two fillet, all were cooked perfect the balsamic dressing for the salad was the best I've had and the mashed potatoes and gravy was too, we also got the bread pudding and cheesecake wow just wow. Recently went to Sully's in petal with my family the service was fantastic the food however was not. I ordered the New York Strip rare and it came to me well done. In fact all of the steaks that came to our table were overdone even the well done steak was overdone. I had a horrible experience and I will not be returning! So let's just start by saying I was not impressed with there steak that night. I have had there steak before and it was good but this time was terrible. The manager came around and ask how was it and I told her not fit to feed my dogs on the yard. I ate three bites of a 16oz ribeye. Her reply was I am sorry to hear that. I reply me to.
