If I could give NO STARS I would ...For at least 15 years I have taken my animals to Dr. Sullivan Crossroads Veterinarian Clinic, but no more! I really do not think they even care if they lose me as a client. The first problem is the woman at the front desk, an uncaring, cold person who should not work with the public. Not only does the receptionist/wife to Dr.Sullivan refuse to schedule an appointment, she is the rudest , most arrogant person who behaves as a consummate jerk (to put it nicely). As this "receptionist" forces people to beg for Dr. Sullivan's services she reminds you how wonderful and popular Dr. Sullivan is! Really? Thousands of dollars in vet bills have I paid over the years to Dr. Sullivan but I never realized that the "pit bull " receptionist would actually be the reason why I would NEVER go back to Cross Roads Veterinarian clinic or reccommend Dr. Sullivan's services as a small or large animal vet. I don't believe any vet would "close their client list" or refuse service to existing clients, there seems to be another reason, which is yet to be discovered, that perhaps , the cantankerous , always grouchy , old woman receptionist has yet to admit. Caring for animals is not a personality contest, it's about finding a vet who is "present" in mind and body, competent , knowledgable and trust worthy with your animals and who has a well run, clean office environment, staffed with people of the same ilk. That doesn't exist in this vet office, THIS OFFICE OFFERS NO SERVICES and has a CLOSED CLIENT LIST meaning , don't call for an appointment because whether you are a new client or existing client, you will not get an appointment. Since the front office is the first place of engagement, then, it would also appear DR. Sullivan must have the same opinions as his receptionist, therefore, my recommendation to all who read this review is DO NOT BOTHER TO CALL OR BEG FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS VET. Texas A&M is just down the road and veterinary students graduate every year, so, there are no shortage of competent, knowledgable and caring vets in this area. Save yourself the aggravation and seek quality vet services from somewhere else. In hind sight, I wish I had given my money over the years to a vet who appreciated my sincere and loyal patronage more than this vet. read more
