I paid a total of £600 for 20 hours manual block as I had read so many great reviews with Suja Driving School and thought there wouldn't be any issues. Unfortunately however, I experienced the opposite and am now not able to get that £600 back. In the space of 3 months I had only completed 2 and a half hours worth of lessons. My instructor had a lot of personal matters to attend to, my instructor was late to lessons and I would still not get the full hours worth of lesson despite them being late. Booking a lesson was difficult within itself as my instructor stated he receives many messages from other students therefore it would just get lost therefore he recommended ringing instead. Whilst I did attempt to ring, there were many occasions where they would be in a lesson with another student therefore I would have to ring another time however sometimes there would be no answer. Lessons were constantly delayed. I then told my instructor that I would like to switch to automatic and asked if I could receive a refund, to which the response was that they had spoken to Suja Driving Company and would not be able to get a refund, my only options were to give remaining hours to a friend/family member or complete my remaining hours. So I chose to complete my remaining hours yet I have not had a single lesson since again due to poor communication. I emailed Suja Driving School now to ask for a refund several times, however time and time again this request has been rejected. Whilst it may be stated in your policy that refunds are not available, there should be special circumstances as this is not fair and there are many students who work hard for their money. £600 was lost for nothing. read more
