It gives me no pleasure whatsoever to leave a negative review, but I feel I have little choice. I approached PassMeFast in good faith, but in hindsight, I believe they acted in a manner that was misleading, unhelpful, and unlawful under UK consumer protection legislation. My situation: In the third week of July, I called and clearly explained that my car insurance would run out in October. I told the sales agent the only reason I would sign up with them -- and pay double what I was paying another instructor -- was if they could secure me a cancellation test between August and October. I made it absolutely clear that my signing up was contingent on this and added that the website was unclear which is why I was calling to make sure I understood the services exactly. The agent told me current test dates showing as November or December (which I stated I was aware of and why I am looking to pay for a service to do better than this), but they had access to cancellations and assured me it would be sorted. What actually happened: As soon as I paid, I received an email saying they'd be looking for test dates between 31 October and 31 December -- the complete opposite of what we discussed. I rang straight away and spoke to someone called Katerina, who told me not to worry, she would look for earlier dates at other locations and worst case, I'd be entitled to a full refund. A couple of hours later, I was booked for 30 December. I called again and spoke to Shay, who escalated the matter to his manager. That manager said I'd be refunded except for £375, which isn't acceptable. I entered into this agreement based on a specific condition that has not been met. Under the Unfair Commercial Practices CMA207, it's illegal for a company to mislead a customer to secure a sale. If the cancellation timeframe was a key part of the agreement (which it was), and they didn't intend to honour it, the sale was based on misleading information and omissions. The specific portions of the law that PassMeFast violated are 5.2, 5.4, and 6.2 According to PassMeFast because the sales rep said "tests are normally scheduling between Nov-Dec," that one line absolves their responsibility. But it ignores the entire rest of the 5 minute conversation, which was misleading about the services you perform regarding cancellations. This is simple logic, would I have signed up for the service had the rep said "Tests are booking Nov-Dec and once we lock you in, we will not further search for cancellations?" No, I wouldn't have. The sales rep said something different to make the sale, and you are not being accountable to what appear to be intentionally false and misleading sales practices. read more

Avoid at all costs. This company has caused me nothing but stress, financial loss, and blatant disregard for my rights. After cancelling my crash course with them (which I paid a £300 deposit for), I was told I would lose the deposit -- fine. But they failed to mention that they would also cancel my practical driving test, which they originally booked in Chester. I rescheduled that test to Blackpool using my own DVSA account, as you can't hold two bookings at once -- so this was fully under my control. Despite this, Pass Me Fast accessed my personal booking and cancelled the Blackpool test without my knowledge or permission. They gave me no communication, no refund, and absolutely no right to cancel a test that I altered and controlled after the course was cancelled. They used my personal details, interfered with my government booking, and left me with no test, no money, and no explanation. This isn't just poor service -- it borders on data misuse, unauthorised interference, and gross negligence. Do not trust this company with your money or your personal information. I will be pursuing this through the ICO, Trading Standards, and legal action. Save yourself the stress and book directly through a reputable instructor. read more

With absolute honesty, this company are snake sales merchants aiming to hook you into purchasing a course, yet are not willing to consider a refund due to change in circumstances. For the record I have not taken any lessons nor sat the theory exam nor matched with an instructor. Due to being laid off, and In need of the deposit back to pay my bills, I was greeted with the same script based awnswer over and over to no avail. Since I've now cancelled my booking, no less than a few days of paying the deposit, I've lost all of the £375 despite a period of 14 days in which states any high purchase can be met with a no questions asked full refund of the amount paid, however with this company it's not the case. I paid £800 for driving lessons which they never provided me with. They breached the contract it took them longer than 45 days to find me an instructor and the instructor was rude and disorganised I had to cancel my test because she only messaged me a few days before and couldn't be bothered to arrange lessons with me. In 2023 - after several months of back and forth- they only offered me a partial refund of £365 which left a remaining £500 illegally retained by them. I have up until 6 years for a money claim. I was not provided any service and after a pre-action letter they are still refusing to return the money. This is not a few pounds this is several hundred pounds. Of course I would fight for it back I am literally owed it!! PassMeFast won't refund me for services not provided and breach of terms. I have no option but to take them to court for a money claim. I turned up at the test centre on the day only to find out that the test was cancelled 4 months prior (I wasn't notified and didn't receive a refund). The business now won't pay compensation for expenses incurred, and it won't even refund me the £115 for the test. I paid £1,700. It's a shame companies like this have been able to thrive in the current climate. I strongly advise that you do not give it any of your money. The prices are high and it will not value its commitments. Learning to drive has become more stressful, taken longer, and cost more because of this company. And the customer service team are not even remorseful or sympathetic about the situation. Terrible people. read more

As a mostly non-social media user, all I had to guide me to Passmefast was a recommendation from a friend, a discount from work and the company's excellently crafted website and empty promises. Only now do I realise how incredibly naive I was! £1.5K down, and only a £24 completed theory test to show for it. The company locks you in with the initial payment, could not care less if you pass your test, and show their true colours as soon as they have the money which they do not refund in any circumstance. The company advertises fast tracked theory tests, but this isn't even a thing, DVLA provide them within 1-4 weeks any way, so that's the start of the false advertising. The company offer you their "excellent, flexible and driving instructors, tailored to your schedule and needs" who they act like they will provide you an "intensive driving course" in reality, the instructors have nothing to do with them, they just send out messages to independent driving instructors in your area, and these instructors pick up the work. The instructors do not work for pass me fast, their availability is the same as any other instructor and they are cramming you into a schedule whether you've booked via pass me fast or not. This just means you can't complete your lessons in time for the practical test and have to pay pass me fast to reschedule it. The company drastically underpay the instructors. My course was charging me £120 for 2 hours of lessons, whereas my instructor told me if i had booked through him independently it would have been £60. The extra money taken by passmefast goes straight into their pockets. They have a "money back guarantee" where they promise a full refund if they don't meet their conditions of providing an instructor for you, or a practical test for you within a certain time scale. Turns out when they violate these conditions they offer a £62 refund for the cost of a practical test, with no mention of where the other £1ks have gone. Their customer service line is redundant, they don't answer the phone to paying customers (please read trust pilot, google reviews confirming this), but as soon as you call the sales team, they answer within a minute. When requesting a refund, and only being offered £62 for the company violating the terms of service, the company explained that they charge £900 for business and administration fees. The business and administration fees are the exact part of the company that do not work and yet they have refused to provide a refund for these. I have absolutely no idea what I have paid £900 for other than to be extremely let down. I could go on and on to describe how horrific my experience has been, how it has damaged my mental health etc, but the message I really want to get out is PLEASE read reviews outside of trust pilot before booking with this company. There is not a single positive experience I can find online outside of trust pilot, where they are deleting negative reviews and accepting clearly false 5 star ones. Please DO NOT fall victim to this absolute scam of a company, I have wasted my life savings on them to be further away from a driving liscence than I ever was.. read more

Pass me slow, read the reviews. They can't get tests any quicker than you can yourself, they don't employ instructors therefore even if they could get you a test they don't have any instructors. They refuse full refunds, don't part with your hard earned money. read more

I should have checked the many, many awful reviews of Pass Me Fast but I was drawn in by the promise of speed and saving money. In fact they have cost me both time and money in significant amounts. After a long wait I was assigned an instructor, when I contacted that instructor they had actually already refused Pass Me Fast (due to their low rate of payment). I then had to chase Pass Me Fast for a response - multiple times - to get assigned another instructor. At every stage of this process I didn't have access to my 'portal', but I was promised my practical test would be moved to fit the fact I hadn't yet had any lessons, due to delays that Pass Me Fast acknowledged were their fault. However, after emailing multiple times, getting generic automatic replies that I'd have a response in 10-15 days, I finally getting through on the phone to someone today (I've been emailing since January). When I explained the situation I was told that I didn't properly confirm the change of test due to not replying to one email (this is in a correspondence of many emails which directly address this situation, both before and after the one I didn't directly respond to in time) and so I was not eligible for a free test rescheduling. This was a shock as I had been promised it previously, and had faced truly atrocious customer service on the part of Pass Me Fast over a matter of months. I will be warning everyone I know against ever using this service and have made sure to book my future lessons directly with an instructor as it is much more straightforward, and cheaper (as I am now having to get extra lessons as it will be such a long wait until my new test). To add insult to injury, after requesting I pay more for this test, Pass Me Fast still haven't given me any idea when it might be, other than that it could be as much as 3 months away. I picked PassMeFast end of January-24, as I work +70hour weeks and needed a relaxed program over the course of several months. Talked to their sales team on the phone and they encouraged me to book my own practical test in May, saying they would have found me an instructor within that week, as I had already passed my theory. I tried to upload my provisional license to their platform for days and days, but it would never save. I called them and asked them to add the details on the phone, which they pretended to do. I emailed them my license details so they could add it to the platform on their end, and it still wasn't registered. They said they could not find me an instructor because they didn't have my license, which was obviously a lie, and that it would take at least 45 days to find me an instructor, which then left me no time to actually do the course I wanted by the date they told me to book my test for. When I then realised they were conning me, I requested to use my cooling off period of 14 days to issue a refund and they refused, although it had only been 5 days since the payment, but they refused. They refused to log my complaint on the phone and did not allow me to talk to their manager or anyone in the complaints department. Their argument is that they will find me an instructor before the test date, but that is not the service I was offered and booked on the phone. Their customer service is appalling and I will be taking this to the ombudsman service, as they have left me 2850 out of pocket - DO NOT USE. read more

Fantastic, I passed first time with Pass me Fast and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is wanting to learn how to drive! I did a 30 hrs intensive course over a few weeks, fit me in fine. My instructor Ben made things clear and easy to understand. He was professional, friendly and a real pleasure to learn with. At first I was nervous but Ben was easy to get along with which helped. Great banter, he has a natural talent of making people feel comfortable and confident. Superb customer service from Ross, he kept me up to date at all times and send me e-mails wishing me good luck, which was a nice touch. Couldn't have asked for a more. Again, thank you! read more

Kind of thieves beware of them. I had booked a 15 hours' intensive course for 490£, with them after having around 25 lessons with another instructor. Course started a week before my test and John Swain was my instructor, He told we will have 12hrs of lessons and 3 hrs for driving test day are reserved, which include 1 hr of driving test. On day one he was okay with the driving and he said we need to do some practise and you will be ready for the test next week. But a night before the test day he started saying that you are not ready for the test and it will hamper my reputation and my driving instructor badge will be taken off and some other things though let's see on the test day. That night I was in complete trauma to be honest couldn't sleep the whole night. On the test day, I asked him a couple of times to take test but he didn't let me give the test and the test fees which I have paid to passmefast was 97£ in vain and I was quite upset and felt depressed as was betrayed of chance to give a test. On analysing I concluded, after day 1 John never came on time. In total, he covered only 13hrs include test day drive, it doesn't include test. When I asked for 2hours refund from passmefast they told me they will refund the money once they get from John Swain and that will be 20£ only. As this is the amount which they pay to instructor. Even though I purchased lessons at the rate 26.20£ per hours but the amount paid to instructor is 20£ per hour which made me think what level of instructor I got. I felt robbed and betrayed, not even given a fair chance to give driving test, under gone through trauma and was robbed of dream to pass my driving test even after paying hard earned money.
