I moved into my new home about 4 months ago. The house needed a lot of work. I had someone come out last week to clean the fireplaces and get them running. I did not want to run them until that had been done. The previous tenants did not take care of the house and I wanted to make sure everything was safe to use. The other company could not figure out how light the fireplaces and stated that the pilot system was broken. That I needed to call a repair man. I found USA Supreme Services on Yelp and set an appointment. Tom arrived within 30 mins of calling on my appointment day. He saw the fireplace and got to work. Within 4 minutes he said come enjoy your fire. I said what? I was expecting new parts, repair, etc. Nope. He said it was an older unit and he knew how to get it running. I now have a warm living room. I then said well if you can do that then can you look at the other one. The gas knob was stuck inside of the wall and I did not want to break it. He got it turned and boom we have fire! Best money ever spent. Super happy with the service, the timeliness of the appointment and Tom was super personable and friendly. Will definitely use them again! Excited to check out their showroom to see what upgrades I can do to the house soon!

The main crack had turned into a fissure due to the TX 2019 Freeze. You now would never know it even existed, the work is so excellent, it is invisible and you would have to know it was there to even see it--if at all. The work is pure artistry. I also did not realize how many hairline cracks had to occur and I am so glad they were caught in time before they were big also. This is a 2 story residence with brick on 3 sides. The original masons failed to make an expansion joint! That also is invisible. Eduardo was there every minute overseeing the work done. The workman were neat, clean and came early in the morning to get the job done all in one day with the most minimum of intrusion. Everything was done to perfection. They are true artists. There can be no better in the business. I contacted Poppins Cleaners Fireplace & Chimney Repair after seeing positive recommendations on…read moreYelp and scheduled Caesar to assess a fireplace issue at my rental property--the remote wasn't turning the unit on. Caesar called me with the following diagnosis: "Good morning. I was able to program the remote control, and it's working fine, but that's not the problem. The pilot light ignites, but it has two sensors. The first one ignites and keeps the pilot light lit. The second sensor, when it heats up, sends a signal to the valve to open the burner. The valve is sending a good signal, but the servo motor is burned out. So the problem is the electronic gas valve that controls everything. I can do this job for $800. This includes replacing the valve with a new one, installing it, and reprogramming it, since everything is electronic." From the moment he delivered this diagnosis, he was incessant about doing the repair immediately and pushed hard for me to authorize the $800 job on the spot. I told him clearly that I would be getting a second opinion and likely going through my home warranty. That's where things took a very concerning turn. After he left, my tenant called to tell me that the remote control for the fireplace was suddenly missing. Caesar had taken it with him without any permission. I had to call him and demand that he return it to the property. Then, things got even worse. My tenant called again to say he noticed that some fireplace connections appeared to be left intentionally disconnected after Caesar's visit--presumably to make it seem like major repairs were needed. My tenant simply reconnected the wiring, and the fireplace worked perfectly with the remote right away. No $800 repair, no burned-out valve, no issue with sensors or motors--just unplugged wires. This experience was not only unprofessional, but also deeply untrustworthy. Manipulating a system to justify unnecessary repair costs and removing a remote without permission is completely unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering Poppins Cleaners Fireplace & Chimney Repair to beware. Based on my experience, their practices are pushy, dishonest, and potentially deceptive. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a reputable and ethical company.
