I stunbled across suite six looking for a thread lift. The consultation was very thurpugh, giving me every possible option to assure i was headed in the direction i needed to go for the results i was looking for and most cost efficient. They were very on top of their responses and customer service was always professional and amazing. Down to the bottom line, i was more excited than a kid waiting for christmas to get this procedure. I went it and they were very hospitable since i had to bring my 2 kids who waited in the waiting room. The ambiance was very relaxed and real. The personalities werent fake and made you feel more at ease. There was an no one at fault hiccup whoch made me freak out abd the nurse was so patient and helpful and calming thru the entire ordeal. She even called after to make sure i was okay. She let me look in the mirror and pick apart the results before the swelling set in. The recovery was brutal and panicy. I recommend not looking in the mirror for at least 3 days. I went in for a follow up and again, all my expectations and wants were met with fantastic professional results after goibg thru multiple options. All i can say is, being my own worst critic tonight i looked in the mirror 2 weeks post procedure. And for the first time in 34 years i love the reflection looking back at me. I wish i had done this sooner and i will be going back. They earned a lobg term client and im here to tell everyobe to come 3bcause theyre amazibg, professional, welcoming, fairley priced ((esp for boston)) and the results were beyond expectations! Melissa was the obe who did all my procedures and shes fantastic. Thank you all so much! read more

I purchased a Groupon for this business and have experienced completely nonexistent customer service. I first used the contact form on their website to book--no one responded. I then called and left a voicemail, which was ignored. Instead, I received an automated text asking me to send all of my personal details and credit card information over text message. When I replied with my info but stated I was uncomfortable texting my credit card number, the automated system told me to call. I called again, left another voicemail, and never received a call, email, or text back. I even texted the number back to let them know I left a voicemail, and I was still completely ignored. It shouldn't be this difficult or sketchy just to schedule an appointment. read more

I had one of the worst and most disrespectful customer service experiences here. I purchased a Groupon for two IPL facials. While the technician was exceptional and professional during both visits, the front desk staff made the experience frustrating and unpleasant. During my second visit, the woman at the front desk claimed she couldn't find my Groupon number, even though it had already been redeemed during my first appointment. She treated me as though I was attempting to get a free service, which was both humiliating and upsetting. After jumping through hoops for 10 minutes to prove my case, I was finally able to proceed with my appointment. Again, the technician was wonderful and even apologized for the inconvenience during my session. Before I left, the woman at the front desk also apologized and promised to follow up with an email offering a special deal for continued services. That email never came. When I followed up by email and phone, Gabriela, another staff member, was dismissive and argumentative. She focused on irrelevant details about the Groupon being expired and incorrectly claimed I was a no-show for an appointment on 11/13/24--when I had, in fact, been there and received services. When I calmly requested to speak with a manager, Gabriela began yelling at me over the phone. Despite saying "excuse me" several times, the shouting continued. Her behavior was shocking, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. This business seems unable to keep accurate records and has no regard for how they treat their customers. If you value professionalism and respect, avoid this place at all costs. read more

This spa is rude, unprofessional and scamming people out of money. I last visited the spa in 2018. It wasn't wonderful in 2018 but on Black Friday 2021 when I saw a Groupon offer, I decided to purchase and give the spa another try. The vouched stated it was for clients "not active within the last 6 months" which means I was clearly eligible to purchase and use the voucher. When I called to redeem my voucher, the receptionist told me the voucher is only for brand new client and I was only able to get my service for full price. I asked for her to refund the Groupon I purchased and she said I'd have to take it up with Groupon. I told her their Groupon ad should be corrected to provide accurate information and prevent disappointed customers from wasting their time and money. She did not care at all and was rather immature. If you have a similar issue, please reach out to Groupon. Their customer service is wonderful (unlike Suite Six) and they need to be made aware that Suite Six is using their platform to scam customers into buying "vouchers" and then having to pay full price! Hopefully Groupon will stop allowing this spa to post fake deals online. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought Skinceutical products through their website because they're medical-grade items. The products have not shown up in over two weeks, even though I live in the same town. Whenever I call the various spa numbers (they have two locations but about 5 different numbers), multiple times no one called me back. A manager finally picked up and said they would sent me the tracking information on my package. She didn't call or text anything. I called three days in a row to get the tracking info, and she finally claimed she "left it in her purse". Today I've spoken with another manager, who did not apologize for the issue (I could hear her whispering to the first manager about me while I was on the phone), and claimed the first manager was "running home to get the tracking number". Why is this information not in their system with my account? Either nothing was ever mailed, they mailed it late and are covering their tracks, or they lost the tracking information and won't tell me. My account had the money removed, yet it still says on their site it's "processing." As of now, the managers have not called me back to resolve this. I now have no products that I paid a lot of money for, the managers did not give their names or information to contact them, and I will now be forced to contact my bank to get my payment back. For such an expensive spa, this place is extremely unprofessional, and I won't go through them again. read more

I like to try out new spas to see if I might like to use them for future services. Groupon is great for letting you experience new places and services without busting the bank. Unfortunately I will not be returning to Suite Six. I don't mind having someone explain to me the fine print of the Groupon policy that I might have missed. However what I do mind is the condescending manner at which it's told. Then to find out that it was the owner Gabrielle that I was talking to. I felt like she was scolding me during our conversation and that I was wasting her time. First impressions are so important in the business word. Fortunately there are an abundance of options for spa treatments out there. Places that treat people with respect and appreciate their business. The only positive thing about my visit.... the esthetician, Maureen, was fantastic.. read more

DO NOT GO THERE!!! I was tempted by cheap specials & deeply regret it. I got an ablative laser treatment & they did not give me proper eye protection. I HAD A BLISTER ON MY EYE!!!! I went to the ophthalmologist & had my pupils dilated & they said my eyeballs had "cracks" & my floaters had moved. My eyes are sensitive to light now. Gabriella took ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY! She was so nice in the beginning, but it is all an act. She does not care about clients getting disfigured! My eyes are PERMANENTLY DAMAGED bc of this place! Also, they did it wrong & it melted fat & caused a puckering, dimpling effect. Bad look! I also got my eyebrows done there & they were uneven & lip injections that were overstuffed & caused "duck lip" effect. I had to have the lip injections dissolved & got a refund for the rest. I signed up for a package of treatments, lured on by the cheap prices. BIG MISTAKE! The real doctor that supposedly oversees them doesn't even work there anymore. HEED MY WARNING! DO NOT GO THERE! I am PERMANENTLY disfigured & my eyes damaged bc of this place!!!! The WORST!!! read more

This place is horribly unprofessional, discourteous, and highly unpleasant l to deal with. I have never felt so disregarded and disrespected by a someone in a managerial position in my life. She is clueless on how to run and effectively communicate with customers. I have asked to speak with corporate about my scary experience there and Gabriela refuses to give me that information. She is a bully and just uses threats to not give you your money back after so many attempts that I have tried to make it right with her. Do not go here!!! Gabriela is not someone you can reason with or even discuss simple issues to make things right. She is stuck up snd her ego displaces her professionalism. What an awful experience!! This place should be out of business because of Gabriela alone!!!! Terrible. read more

I was a client at Suite Six over a year ago. Lindsay was the BEST esthetician and I truly enjoyed having her work on my complexion with microderm and laser facial treatments. It has been a year since I've stopped treatments and I decided to go back for a refresher before I start a new job. I turned to Groupon and purchased 2 packages - one for 3 microderm treatments and one for 3 laser facial treatments. Here is the fine print on both offers: "Promotional value expires 90 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. 24 hour cancellation or no show policy applies. Credit card required at the time of booking. Treatments expire 90 days from redemption of the first treatment. Appointment required. Limit 1 per person, may buy 0 additional as gift(s). Limit 1 per visit. Valid only for option purchased. All goods or services must be used by the same person. Not valid for clients active within the past 6 month(s). Merchant's standard cancellation policy applies (any fees not to exceed voucher price). Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services." I just tried to call and schedule my first appointment when the owner (Gabrielle?) answered. I mentioned I bought the two packages and would like to start the treatments. She told me I can't use both packages, I can only pick one. When I explained that the fine print doesn't say anything about not being able to use two offers, she said their policy has changed and to take it up with Groupon. She was honestly so rude I'm still shaking. She also tried to shame me by saying Groupon is only for customers who want to try them for the first time, not repeat customers and then tried to sell me on packages 5x the price of what I paid on Groupon. TBD on whether Groupon will give me a full money back refund but I'd rather lose the $150 I paid for both packages than to visit a business owned by that woman. read more

This place is horrible.. they're definitely going to scam you. They never actually told me the full price of the '12 pack for laser hair removal' but insist that they did. They didn't show me a cost breakdown or quote for the services until AFTER they charged me. I was told by Gabriel (the owner that all the other bad reviews mention) that I could get a refund if I no longer wanted the package. I requested a refund and she immediately got defensive and refused. After a million arguments and phone calls she refunded after charging a 10% breach of contract fee and credit card feeds. The breach of contract fees don't even make sense as they didn't even have a contract that's signed. They send me an invoice AFTER the appointment which they claim is their contract. Please report this business to the Better Business Bureau and get them shut down. Also Gabriel is insane lol. read more

Read All the reviews before you visit this place. They be scamming people like if it's okay. Bad customer service. Back in 2019 I saw that they had a package for laser hair removal on Groupon. When I called the lady named Kristen Leone in Newburyport offered me a better package which was UNLIMITED sessions which I agreed to and she also added a NOTE ON THE RECEIPT. I chatted here to make an appointment and they called me to tell me that my sessions ended, that I only had "9 sessions" but i went several times, more than 9 times. They sent me receipt and it's a whole different one, it says that it was sold by ALISSA TYACK which I did not speak to her, and it shows the Boston location which I have never been into that location. GABRIELA was the one that told me about this new receipt and said that she doesn't know anything about the original receipt that i have. Yup big b....s. Of course she said that no one changed my receipt and mention to pay the membership/ Copay if I would like to continue with the service. WHY do I have to pay more for something that I already paid in full and is supposed to be unlimited ? Just because they have new owners/management? That's not how you take care of customers specially if they already paid for something that was offered to them, i know I am not the only one. BE AWARE! I will upload the receipts here for proof! read more

I sought Morpheous 8 facial skin tightening treatment because they it is the newest technology eliciting the greatest results at this time. The $3000.00+ treatment involves a series of 3 treatments, paid up front. The first treatment went as expected (as I've had ultherapy in the past), but the second treatment completely DEVOURED my face! The owner of the spa insisted that was a normal result, and that I was properly informed to expect this. However, I was NEVER TOLD to expect that outcome, or I would have NEVER had it done! AT 55 years old I know how my Mediterranean skin responds to trauma with pigmentation changes, so it is absurd to imply I would willingly do this to my face! Rather than apologize and refund my payment for the 3rd treatment, they were only willing to apply it towards future skin brightening treatments to lighten the pigmentation changes that their improperly trained technician created on my face. I ALWAYS wear sunscreen on my face and chest, wear hats and shirts to cover those areas when outdoors, yet the spa owner's condescension was repulsive given the circumstances, made worse by repeatedly blamed me for going in the sun. NEVER GO TO THE SEAPORT SUITE SIX!!! read more

1 star because I couldn't pick zero stars. This business is an absolute scam. I have lost hundreds of dollars to them. The owner of the company, Gabrielle, admitted to me that her previous employees made mistakes by offering customers Groupon prices, and then told I was "out of luck" for the package I bought less than 10 months ago. I spent hundreds of dollars last year on laser hair removal and did not get to use any of the treatments. Thieves. Scam artists. read more

I purchased a Groupon for xeomin specifically. It was great, I banked some more xeomin. When checking my account months later, I found out I had actually been given jeuveau. I had some remaining units banked so I foolishly made another appointment and explained that I paid for xeomin, researched and specifically wanted xeomin, and had erroneously been given jeuveau the last time. I was assured, 'so sorry, no worries, this will be xeomin'. I should've made a bigger stink. I called months later to check my balance and found out that last time I had been given jeuveau, again. I paid for xeomin, I wanted xeomin, I was assured I would and did receive xeomin and over multiple sessions, I never received it. Unethical, illegal, dangerous. Now if you actually want jeuveau, the injectors' technical skills are great, everything did what it was supposed to, and they are very friendly, professional, and are also lying through their teeth about what they are injecting into your face. This is not simply a generic vs trade, these are two different botulinum A toxin products. Similar, close to identical, but not the same, and not interchangeable without consent. So incredibly not okay. They're asking for a lawsuit and I'm sure it'll happen soon if they keep this up. read more

Bought 6 laser hair removals. Had 2 I was happy with. 3rd was with a new girl and a "new machine" she was trying. It left me swollen and burned. My 4th was fine. 5th they cancelled. Went bad from there. Talked Over me. I didn't raise my voice didn't swear yet she hung up on me! I said I'd post this before she hung up, she said and we will respond, click!! Don't bother. I'm in service and if I hung up on a client I'd be fired. Now I read prior negative reviews and clearly they are all true. Won't go back. Won't recommend them. Don't come here for a wax. I repeat. DO NOT come here for a wax. Came here for a Brazilian was and eyebrows. First of all, the lady says to me oh your eyebrows are already perfectly shaped, I said yes please just clean them. She totally thins them out, ruins their shape and butchers my left eyebrow leaving me with almost nothing where there once was a perfect set of full eyebrows that took me years to grow back. FURIOUS. 18 dollars later I have the worst shaped eyebrows of my life. Thanks. she didn't show me at the end didn't say anything didn't apologize and charged me full price. Second of all, the Brazilian wax took way too long.. And I know these things are usually not comfortable.. I went to the Boston location for my first experience with any kind of injectable and it was not a good one. I don't know if they don't know what they are doing or if Jeuveau is simply not as effective as Botox. They did not numb the area first. Nothing was explained to me as far as post-procedure care. After three weeks I was not happy with the results and went back. I was basically told there is nothing they can do. I felt as if they had zero interest in helping me ... they had already gotten my money and that was all that mattered. I learned a very expensive lesson. They also discouraged me from purchasing the Groupon before my visit, told me they would honor the Groupon price but then did not. Called and was scheduled for advertised "$10/unit botox new client special." Would not give me botox and instead told me I could only get a different neuro toxin or get my money back (it was a free consult). The NP that injected me was happy to give me the dose I requested (previously worked). Front desk manager was extremely rude about it. Lectured me that the other neurotoxin was just as good, told me it was requesting too low of a dose. I tried to explain like the way I look and she continued to repeat her self over and over with a very nasty, unprofessional tone. I eventually had to ask her to let me pay so I could leave. Save your $. Staff condescending and unfriendly. On top of this, I got a black eye-has never happened in all years of getting botox.

The only reason I went here was because of Lindsay, but she is no longer there. She was a phenomenal esthetician. Unfortunately, the owner is a nasty person who lacks social skills. She's rude to customers and she is awful to her staff. I recently bought three microdermabrasions from Lindsay, but she left right after I purchased them. When I was notified she left, I requested a refund. The owner Gabriela was so rude on the phone and refused to refund my money. I told her I would take it up with the BBB. Approximately 5 minutes later the manager called and said she would send me a product that equaled the amount I paid. It's amazing the owner is still in business! read more

I paid for Xeomin through Groupon and when I went to get it done, the owner, Gabriella, told me that it wouldn't work on me, even though she isn't even an aesthetician. So she said I could purchase Botox which was on special for 50 units for $500, so I did. I told the person who did it that I didn't want it used on my forehead as it has caused the skin to relax and then push my eyelids down. She did it anyway saying it needed it, it would be fine. It wasn't and in a few days one brow was down on one end and way up on the tail end. It looked awful. When I called and spoke to Gabriella she said that wasn't possible that it doesn't make your lids droop. I told her I was looking at it in the mirror. She is a know it all and won't listen to you. She had me come in and see Deb. When I arrived I showed her how it looked and she said it "looked good". If I could post a picture I would because it did not! Deb put some more in and it looked much better in a few days. I had a few units left over, maybe 15, and when I called today the receptionist put me on hold and then came back and said I didn't have any left! I know I did but I don't have a receipt. Gabriella obviously doesn't want me there and basically stole $150 worth of product from me. Don't go there! She is a very difficult person and doesn't want anyone saying anything is wrong. Good luck if you're not happy with something! And she stole what I had paid ahead. Buyer beware! read more

I had an amazing experience at Suite Six, and particularly with their CoolSculpt treatment. I've been self conscious about my slight double chin for years (a mixture of genetics and a small facial frame), and after researching different options I decided to give CoolSculpt a try. The nurse was amazing and walked me through what to expect every step of the way. While it was a little uncomfortable, it was otherwise a super easy, seamless and non invasive procedure and once the redness went down (about 15 mins post treatment), there were no indicators I had just had anything done (except for some numbness that I felt.) But let's talk about the most important part - the RESULTS. They gave me a heads up that some patients require a two or more treatments, but I've seen incredible results after just one. I remember the first time my side profile was caught in a candid photo (something i always dread), and being like damn - look at that! I have definition there now, and that little pooch is gone. Bought my GF a groupon to try out a new salon. She wanted a different service and owner was nice to let us apply money to a different service, at check-out then went back on offer. We still paid over the price that had been agreed upon on the phone and just glad to get out of there. The main reason I'm writing this review is one time I had a Brazilian wax from the owner. I don't think she's even supposed to be doing waxes, and she was the only person there, acting as the receptionist, so when she heard someone come in, she left me lying in the room with wax STILL on me while she proceeded to get in a yelling match with a woman out front. They were disagreeing about a charge -- apparently the studio was charging her way more than the agreed upon price -- and the owner shouted and told her she needed to leave. She then comes back into the room totally flustered and proceeds to rant to me about that woman. So horribly unprofessional, and as you can see from some of the other reviews, I'm not the only one to have that experience. I'm not one to post bad yelp reviews, but people should really know before they go here. I tried to like this place, but they just really don't have it together. I used to go to Lauren for waxes, but she's no longer there. Go to Interlocks, where they actually care about their customers AND do a good job. I still went for some time to get waxes because they were ridiculously cheap, but they can't hold on to staff. Not the sort of service you want a different, inexperienced person doing each time. So, I probably went there at least 7 times and it was not worth it, except for when Lauren was working there. I've been waxing for 8 years and had finally found someone who I felt comfortable with - thankfully I found Lauren elsewhere! read more

Sherri, who is normally at the Boston location is helping out at the Newburyport location while they are short staffed. Let me tell you, their sticky situation was my lucky day. The first facial I got at this place was very good. My Facial with Sherri however was phenomenal. She really took her time treating my skin and gave me great follow yo advice. I didn't feel rushed or less than because I had purchased the service with a Groupon. So I guess this review is more about Sherri but I would still whole heartedly recommend suite 6. It was clean and the reception desk was kind and offered me a seat and some water as soon as I walked in. Just trust me and treat yourself read more

This use to be a good place before the pandemic. Now the management doesn't inform you of changes and canceled Groupons without informing you. That didn't even really bother me. This is an update to my previous 5-star rating. I loved my first visit to Suite Six... actually I loved all of my visits and had an appointment to bring a friend for a gift facial. A week or so prior to my last appointment, I received an email that my appointment with Lauren had been canceled and then re-booked so I called to inquire and was told that Lauren was no longer with the company. Now, a facial is one thing, however my waxing appointment was also automatically rebooked... A waxing appointment for a Brazilian! Now, ladies... I am pretty sure I don't have to explain that getting a Brazilian is a tad different than getting your eyebrows waxed. I trusted Lauren, loved her personality and felt completely relaxed with her; I didn't want some new person whom I had never met throwing wax down there! So, I told the person on the phone that I needed to cancel (for that very reason). What a disappointment :( I wonder if I can hunt down Lauren? Maybe call every other area salon and ask "do you have a new waxer named Lauren?" I understand that employees come and go (to be honest I had always thought that Lauren was one of the owners since she was so professional) but I feel like for certain services, there needs to be a different level of grace. Nowadays, most of us (imo) feel pretty "attached" to our stylists/technicians/therapists etc. and wouldn't just want to be assigned to somebody else just like that. So, 2-stars because the place is still in a good location and because at least I had a good run with them for a few months. read more

Buyer beware. The owner is rude. She speaks to people, both her customers and staff ( I have heard her) in a condescending manner. She speaks over people and is belittling. I went for a consult for laser hair removal and spoke with one woman and then she left, then I spoke with a second consultant prior to starting and finally ended up with a third employee all who provided me with different pricing. In my 6 Groupon treatments I then saw 3 more employees each one leaving so I needed to start with a new person. The amount of hair did decrease but the treatment of the owner was not worth the price. And always the pressure for up charges. Gabrielle the will be sure to have a response and reasons why, as she has to have the last word. Horribly unprofessional. Spend your money somewhere else.***Update: owner states below that I saw two consultants because they provide exceptional service. Not true. They can't hold on to employees, and that is why I needed two consultants, that's a spin on the truth. And I did book in advance each time and did request a specific tech and twice when I got there that tech was no longer with Suite Six. Another spin on the truth. And service expectations should not be higher or lower based on the fact that I have a Groupon. If so than all the more reason why people should be hesitant to do business here. Lastly, I never said I got great results. I still do have hair and of course throughout the process there was continued up sell. I will need to receive more treatments but I will Not be doing it at Suite Six. read more

Clean and conveniently located spa right in Newburyport, MA. That was my first time getting treatments done there, but not my first time to get Botox. Despite my requests to just get 20 units, as what I usually get, the nurse got me 40 units, and then proceeded to sell me more stuff for my skin. This place is all about making buck of people instead of using a personal approach as to let's use 20 units as you requested and then follow up in case if you need more. Nurse was monitored by two doctors, which makes me believe that she was quite new for this procedure, but still charges $14 a unit. This place is all about making money. Not going back. read more
