I was in the middle of their Acne Bootcamp treatment, which I had already spent hundreds of dollars on, when they suddenly decided they would no longer provide me with services. I am a high school student who balances school, work, and other activities, so my schedule can change unexpectedly. Every time I needed to reschedule, I communicated with them and worked around their availability. I also paid the 50% cancellation fee every time I was charged without arguing or complaining about their policy. What is especially frustrating is that they were completely willing to continue taking my money and rescheduling my appointments, but once my schedule became inconvenient for them, they decided I was no longer a "good fit." I understand that cancellations, even when communicated with a reason, can be frustrating for a business. However, that does not change the fact that I consistently paid the fees they charged me and communicated with them whenever I needed to reschedule. What makes this even worse is that they stopped my Acne Bootcamp treatment in the middle of the process. I had already contacted them previously because I was concerned about my skin getting worse and sent them pictures asking if what I was experiencing was normal. I was told that it looked like purging and that it was normal, and I continued following the treatment and home-care routine as instructed. After everything I had already invested into the treatment, to suddenly be told that they would no longer schedule me was extremely disappointing and honestly felt very unprofessional. If they had concerns about my appointments, they could have communicated that with me instead of continuing to schedule me and then abruptly ending my treatment. I have school. I have work. I have other responsibilities. I should not have to have a completely open schedule in order to be treated with respect as a paying customer. I would not recommend this spa. I would strongly encourage anyone considering spending hundreds of dollars on a treatment here to think twice. Being halfway through a treatment and then having the service abruptly discontinued is not the experience I expected as a paying customer.
