The Wash and Wear was a great place to go. I would recommend it. Locals there doing laundry, weekenders & short term rentals. I got 6 loads of washing done in 36 minutes & only needed 3 dryers. I tried drying my clothes on low and permanent press options and they were damp for a long time, so I put the dryer on high for 4 minutes and they were dry after that.

We had two laundry bags one clothes & the other towels. Come to find out the cheapest wash is $6.50 and it caps out at $11. That's crazy. I get that the owner is trying to justify the prices by saying that the machines are new , but the facility is very small and the AC does not work very well. It's very hot in there. And there is very limited seating. The original laundromat that my husband and I would go to at the north end of the lake is the brand new coin laundry and they're obviously brand new and the washes start at I believe $3.50 and cap out at $8.50. And the dryers are a quarter for six minutes. I can do the same two bags of laundry there for about $15-$20. And that seems way more reasonable than $13 just for the wash alone if the two bags fit in the smallest washer which they don't. So it would have been double for me to do the same laundry at this facility. And upon arrival, there is no rolling laundry baskets outside and there is a large sign stating that you cannot wash any pet items no pet blankets no pet beds no horse blankets. Basically you cannot wash any thing there if you have pets/pet items. -in response to your message I walked in, had a conversation with my husband, about the prices after I saw the prices, As my husband was already inside before I came in. Your machines are small and your condescending attitude and how you respond to the customers who leave you reviews that are not four or five stars is telling of the type of business owner that you are. Unfortunately, a recurring issue involving a commercial cleaning company has made the environment increasingly uncomfortable and, at times, unsafe feeling. On Tuesday mornings, a commercial cleaning crew regularly occupies a large number of machines at once. 15-20 or more, which makes it difficult for regular customers to access machines during busy hours. My larger concern is the behavior I personally observed from one male worker associated with this company. I witnessed him repeatedly standing extremely close behind customers, particularly women and elderly customers, while they were loading and unloading machines. At one point, an older woman visibly turned around in alarm because of how closely he was standing behind her, and the interaction became confrontational when she reacted. The overall atmosphere felt aggressive and uncomfortable rather than respectful of shared public space. The company is also washing heavily used commercial cleaning materials like mops and dust mats in shared machines, which many customers may not feel comfortable with. I previously attempted to contact management privately about these concerns and never received a response, which is why I'm posting publicly. I hope management addresses both the excessive commercial machine usage and customer safety concerns so the laundromat remains comfortable for everyone. I will never come back here again.

The people that are in charge swing by when I was there just to open one of the other doors but not bother to even clean the laundry room just to at least make it look more presentable. The building doesn't look that old or falling apart but just the fact that they do maintenance I don't even want to come back and wash my clothes here.
