The Wash and Wear was a great place to go. I would recommend it. Locals there doing laundry, weekenders & short term rentals. I got 6 loads of washing done in 36 minutes & only needed 3 dryers. I tried drying my clothes on low and permanent press options and they were damp for a long time, so I put the dryer on high for 4 minutes and they were dry after that.

We had two laundry bags one clothes & the other towels. Come to find out the cheapest wash is $6.50 and it caps out at $11. That's crazy. I get that the owner is trying to justify the prices by saying that the machines are new , but the facility is very small and the AC does not work very well. It's very hot in there. And there is very limited seating. The original laundromat that my husband and I would go to at the north end of the lake is the brand new coin laundry and they're obviously brand new and the washes start at I believe $3.50 and cap out at $8.50. And the dryers are a quarter for six minutes. I can do the same two bags of laundry there for about $15-$20. And that seems way more reasonable than $13 just for the wash alone if the two bags fit in the smallest washer which they don't. So it would have been double for me to do the same laundry at this facility. And upon arrival, there is no rolling laundry baskets outside and there is a large sign stating that you cannot wash any pet items no pet blankets no pet beds no horse blankets. Basically you cannot wash any thing there if you have pets/pet items. -in response to your message I walked in, had a conversation with my husband, about the prices after I saw the prices, As my husband was already inside before I came in. Your machines are small and your condescending attitude and how you respond to the customers who leave you reviews that are not four or five stars is telling of the type of business owner that you are. Then, we used one small dryer, it was big enough to fit both loads. The dryers prices were much nicer, $1.50 for 42 minutes. I think the key was for every seven minutes, add 25¢. For the total of $11.50, I don't believe it was a bad experience. It was very hot, no A/C which I could tell. They have a vending machine dedicated to cleaning supplies & a vending machine for cold drinks. I got a coke bottle for $3 (not including in the final total). This was my first laundromat with a washer card, or perhaps, I've just always used quarters. However, one of the people waiting for their clothes was kind enough to point me to the direction for the card. It was fairly busy while we were there, but not so much that we couldn't get washers/dryers. My boyfriend said he would rate this a 7/10 experience because he wants to be able to just tap his card & it's hot in here.

After what I saw going through five of these washers, never will I ever again not only not bring my clothes and my personal garments to this laundromat I will never go to any laundromat ever again. I entered the YV laundry in Yucca Valley on Highway 62 next to the jelly donuts looking forward to having all my clothes, clean and smell good for myself for my daughter, but what I noticed was two gentlemen with long hair, tattoos, and wife beater shirts.? pulling large amounts of mopheads from three or four different washing machines at the YV laundry in Yucca Valley. And I don't care if they were brand new mopheads you can only imagine what these mop heads have been doing and where they have been.! OMG!!! I did manage to do one load of laundry as I observe these gentlemen with their mopheads, throwing them into the dryers. I counted from what I could see 25 mopheads. The guy is washing them did not have any kind of uniform on so I would say they were probably mop heads from.???? beware of YV laundry and what they allow to go in and out of there washers and dryers! They say you are being monitored and I did witness cameras in the facility? But clearly the owner and our manager could care less of what goes through their washers and dryers at. YV laundry!
