I saw the posted hours for the laundromat on New Year's Eve. It said open until 5. I planned my day to come up the mountain in order to wash a load of laundry. I arrived at 3:50 and was told the laundromat was closed starting at 3. The employee in the tigger costume was pretty rude and as I was taking a picture of the sign, shut the door hard enough to near hit me in the face. When I jumped back, she smiled. It's a little town so the laundromat is not new, but it is very clean and the employees were very friendly. Being able to walk across the street to the coffee shop was a big bonus, plus I discovered a vinyl record shop to tell my grandson about! :) Clothes got dry in less than an hour for a huge, oversized load of clothes which included jeans. It's a laundromat- nothing more, nothing less. Nicer than many I've been in, and not as nice as a few. I've never run into all the "homeless vagrants" the kind Christians that dominate Crestline are complaining about in their comments...maybe that was God testing you to see "if ye do it unto the least of these, ye have done it unto me" and ya'll failed miserably and focused on spreading hate about "Democrats" in your nasty reviews instead. Sure it's a bit worn down, but it's clean, it has snacks you can buy, and the equipment works. Not sure what else you could ask for. read more

Very clean, literally walking distance from sleepy Hollow and they're open until 11 PM

I liked it. It's only $2.50 for a normal load of wash. A quarter for every 6 min of drying. It took around 25 min to dry a normal load of clothes. The machines are easy to use and didn't mess up my clothes. I went on a Saturday at 1 and didn't have to wait. There's a vintage shop across the street and coffee too. read more

I felt the need to leave a positive review because the horrible reviews are laughable. I especially enjoyed the 1 star review left by a person who didn't actually visit the facility, just read the reviews and decided to skip it and leave a bad review while at it. I moved into the area a few months ago and I've been using the laundromat consistently ever since. I was slightly nervous after reading the reviews, but I ran out of clean underwear and was feeling brave so I made my way over... turns out, it's just a normal laundromat and it's perfectly fine. Nothing fancy. The machines all work and do their jobs. The workers are friendly. A bathroom would be nice but it's not a big deal, there's a coffeeshop right across the street for emergencies. I haven't observed any "obvious drug addicts sauntering around", just normal friendly people washing their clothes. Don't be afraid. You'll be okay. read more

It is a basic laundromat. I don't understand why people are complaining about it. It only used quarters, but there's a machine that will exchange $1, $5, $10, or $20 USD bills. It's clean and, of course, there will be other people there while you're using the machines. read more

Very clean, well organized and charming space on the main strip in Crestline village. Floors and machines are spotless. A little musty, but understandable considering the heat and humidity the past few days. Not consistent with the negative review I read at all. read more

HORRIBLE LAUNDROMAT... DO NOT GO HERE!! My clothes seem dirtier after I washed them! Obviously the washers don't use enough water or the washer just SUCK! Now I have to rewash all my clothes in my hand washer. Then on top of the crappy washing, the dryers seem to NEVER DRY! I finally ended up getting so frustrated after putting so many quarters in.. Luckily I have a portable dryer at home but this is SUCH an INCONVENIENCE! What was the point of sitting there for an hour and a half?! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE!! Next time I'll travel the distance and go to Cedar Glen Laundromat, it's really nice, clean, and things get clean and dry! UGH why did I go here?! read more

This is the worst laundromat I ever been to ! You are better off washing by hand ! At least the soap will rinse all the way off that way ! Very small and cramped , was hard just to get laundry done with 2 other people there ! The dryers are a complete rip off ! Don't go here , save your money ! Very clever owner. I spent $6.00 trying to DRY 3 loads of wash. (The small top loaders are $2.50 each for the wash and the larger ones are $5.00 each for the wash! ) Never did get them dry in those dryers. I had to hang them up at home the next day. The dryers have hot and cold spots and you just can't win. I spent exactly 2 hours in there doing 3 loads of laundry. (the wash cycle is 20 minutes or less) His water is hot but the laundry is too wet when it comes out so you have to spend spend spend......He was there "cleaning" with a bottle of windex. I would prefer he use a disinfectant type cleaner but I don't think that would occur to him. I watched him. He cleaned the inside of the washers, then the outside a little, then the outside of the dryers, then the glass of the dryers, then the inside of the dryers. It took him about 15 minutes. He did that all with one rag, which he brought dirty and did not rinse out or change once. YUCK! Where is the health department on this? Then he brought out the mop bucket. You should see this mop and bucket! I told him about the dryers not drying, he said "Tough!" I told him the mop he is using on the floor is dirtier than the floor, why bother? I will never go back. I heard he owns the other laundromat in VOE also. ( Incidentally, the big washers are $7.65 each in case you ever need to wash a blanket. LOL) This is a small financially depressed town. I consider it highway robbery! Guess when you are the only one in town, you can act like it! I heard a lot of people in town complain. read more
