The order in which post waxing cleaning was done (back to front with the same wet wipe) was completely unsanitary, and having gone to back to back appointments with a friend, (in the same room), the wax did not take any time to heat up, leading me to assume the same wax was used for both of us... while double dipping sticks. When doing the wax, she went fully over many sensitive areas with hot wax. That's sloppy. After finished, she barely tried to clean off all the residue left over. Along with that, a dirty fan was pointing towards my body that they used to dry the wax quicker. Way too many red flags when it comes to sanitation standards, things that could result in UTIs, Yeast Infections, and so on. I won't be going back and do NOT recommend it if you're trying to find a new place to get waxed.

I left for my bachelorette later that day without inspecting my legs (probably my fault for not inspecting but I entrusted waxers to do their jobs). Of the five or so aestheticians, Odilia is the one that made me say "I need to write a review, she was THAT good" - she takes the perfect amount on control on her appointments that creates trust with the client and also tries to understand each client's needs and current routine, giving answers that are small basic changes and have scientific backing. Overall I've really enjoyed my time going to Glowbar - and I noticed yesterday they finally replaced the grody seating in the waiting area that had water stains. They try to maintain a clean look and sometimes they have freebies that are great.

While making pleasant conversation, she trimmed a little bit off my hair and started making motions to finish up the haircut. She trimmed a bit more off, then wrapped up. Looking in the mirror, my hair looked nice, so I paid and left. After looking more closely at home, I didn't think my hair looked much shorter than it did before I went in to Vanilla Color Spa.
