It was fixed quickly. Good job this was fixed a few hours after reporting it and I'm very pleased with the work

Very nicely done! Had wasps getting into apartment somehow on a daily basis for weeks. There were 5 nests outside window at top of awning.

I gave a 3 star rating, because I was told by mai tence that they were coming back on 06/24/26 around 1pm to finish up the work orders and to check on the tile behind the toilet that was glued down and a board placed on the tile to hold it down to be removed. No one came back to complete the work order. read more

Service was fast, and at a convenient time fir me. The gentle man was friendly and polite

I was told someone would come assess my carpet for possible replacement on 3/31, but no one has come out and I have not received any updates. Additionally: The ice machine is still not working. I've had to purchase ice trays in the meantime. The wood on the cabinets is still missing and has not been repaired. I previously sent photos showing the issues that need attention. At this point, these items have been outstanding for an extended period, and I need a clear update on when each of these repairs will be completed. Please provide a timeline or schedule for addressing these issues as soon as possible. Thank you, read more

I submitted a request for a kitchen issue Sunday and maintenance had my work order handled before I got home on Monday!

In the beginning, things were hopeful. Spoke with Shantell informed her of my situation, upfront. She told me, don't worry about it, they could help me, just fill out the application and bring the $175 deposit and the $50 app fee. Shantell even told me my apartment would be ready on the 10th of November. The entire time I'm thinking I got the apartment Thank God, a lil peace of mind. So Shantell calls me and says she needs bank statements and for me to bring the money orders in so the app can be completed well I did that. I also ask Shantell while on the phone if I didn't have the $739 by the 10th could they hold the apartment, she said yes. So with that being said again, I'm under the impression I'm approved for this apartment. So I call today, November 7th and let Shantell know I'd rather start my lease Dec 1 instead of the 10th of november, because I may not have the full $739 due to other financial obligations. And it would be more visable to start a full months rent at the beginning of the month not almost mid month paying full rent then 2 weeks later having to pay again. Well I guess she definitely didn't want to hear that, because then she says we can't hold the unit til the 1st, again this is indicating I'm approved for this unit, then she adds my app is Still in verification status. So she doesn't know what the outcome will be. And says she will call back hangs up. Not even 8 minutes later, she calls back and says Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide a unit to you due to previous last rental history ok, sorrry!. I was bewildered and thrown back, because shes been speaking all this time as if I was already approved, all I was needing was the rent paid and a key given to me. She hung the phone up didn't mention anything to me about coming to pick up my money period. I called back and another lady answered the phone and I explained to her what was going on and the fact that I told Shantell my situation before I ever filled out the app. And if she was going to use that as the reason why, she should have said no need to fill out the app when i was being honest about my situation, period! she should've never mislead me into thinking I had ALREADY been approved and waiting on an apartment to get ready on the 10th. I could've went somewhere else instead of putting my money towards Sugarberry. I told the lady that's a shitty way to get a measly $50 of free money. I told her Shantell said nothing about me coming to pick up my money since I so called wasn't apprtived, so when can I come pick up my money orders. This lady says you have until 1 pm tomorrow Nov 8th otherwise that's voided too.. meaning I'm out of $175 plus my $50 app fee. So I'm upset by then because I work and will be at work at 1pm so she says, oh well I see your DEPOSIT HAS ALREADY BEEN POSTED!!!! I'm real pissed now, because if I was denied Why was my deposit posted? And now she says I have to Wait until she calls me because Corporate has to cut a $175 check then I have 24 hrs from that time or there will be no refunds. Now I've always thought Sugarberry was decent and no one may not see it from NY point of view. But Shantell mislead me from the start. And USeD what I told her against me After I decided to start my lease at the beginning of December instead of midst November. I highly feel I should get ALL MY MONEY BACK period because Shantell wasted my time when she knew exactly what she was going to do.. my thought is they will be coming up WTH a lame excuse about this deposit since they already booked me for $50. I use to give good rapport about Sugarberry, and I had and still have plenty of aquaintances move into Sugarberry because I told them how nice the apartment itself were. I'm not anymore. Because I've gotten first hand experience with them... I'm very disappointed. Period... And I really don't need any feedback on how sorry this complex is about my experiences, feel sorry enough and give me back ALL MONEY. and stop ripping people off if they change their minds about move in days. read more

Be sure to keep all your paperwork and review with them because they charged me and my roommate rent three times in one month because they messed up on paperwork, by putting the wrong date. read more

Well I'm a current resident, for the last 3 years I've complained about my a/c. This last summer was horrible, my ac could only keep up. I get it, ac can do only so much. Well now my ac is blowing 10 degrees hotter than what I set it to. It's on cool. I set to 70, it blows 80 all day. I have complained 4-5 in the last 3 months. They charged it and pretty much blow me off since then. On top of that. I had water damage 2 years ago that was never fixed. I have more water damage from a leaky ceiling and they inspected it and have done nothing to fix it. Hell my oven was so old, it wasn't replaced until I was baking something in the oven and the oven's heater coil caught fire and and burned through. Guess who wont be here much longer. read more

do not move here!! they state all bills paid except electric then bill you charges attached to monthly rent! as well as they make all ammenities unavailable to you. oh but for an extra 90.00 per month you can use ammenities. this place is a joke and out for money only, you could have a house with all the crap they charge for! read more

These are terrible apartments!! Unless you are desperate do not live here. The parking lot is terrible, the wood is rotting, the insulation is worse. When the wind blows my curtains move when the window is shut. I have asked them 4 times to fix it because when it rains water comes in, when it snows my bedroom is full of snow, when there is an ice storm there is ice in my house. They have not even attempted to fix it. My public service bill is usually $300 in the summer and about $250 in the winter because of that. They replaced the kitchen cabinets and tore apart the tile and ripped the paint off the wall. The floor has s huge spot where it's weak and has no carpet padding. Every summer our air conditioner breaks and it takes them at least a day to fix it. The neighborhood is terrible, my husbands car got broken into 3 times and they tried to break into our house once. There is always someone driving crazy and drunk, always people standing outside yelling. read more

I've lived here for a year in two different units, the first one wasn't so bad when there weren't bugs or anything broken. Sugarberry really is just a made up apartment complex. The remodeled the kitchens and updated outside the units to make it look good for the most part. But the toilets are raggedy, the showers are, light switches are, the bathroom cabinets and drawers are awful constant breaking and falling apart. When I told them I had a leak the just painted over the spot it was coming from. The day I got the key to the apartment I'm in now there were roaches everywhere! Which is something I never had to deal with. So that caused me to have to wait to move in because I had to take care of that by myself because they sure didn't care. To make matters even worse there are mice in the apartment and when I told them they just said to set some traps as if it's my fault. The staff are horrible they used to care and be concerned but within the past few months they all suck! It's not one there that I like when I transfered apartments they gave me the run around and they all tell you something different which caused them to end up charging me extra money that I didn't have long story short don't move here unless you want to deal with unprofessional staff that are careless and rude, oh and unless you want to share your clean home with rats and roaches! I can't wait until my lease is up! Terrible service. read more
