I really enjoy living here! I'm in a one bedroom apartment and it's good overall. It's lacking storage - I'd love to have a place for my towels and linens. The space is tight, but I make it work. Submitting a maintenance request is easy (and online, so I don't have to talk to anyone). The maintenance team is always prompt and they do their best to fix and improve any concerns I have (shout out to Tony!!). Example: I had (non-toxic) mold in one of the cabinets so they brought a professional out to test the air quality and then built me new cabinets the next day. All of the staff is great and they actively try to make things better for their tenants instead of slapping a bandaid on it or making a cheap fix. Pest control takes things seriously as well. Bugs will sometimes get in, especially in the winter, but after I submit a request they come and spray my place within a day or two. There are real, traditional, working fireplaces in all the units (as far as I know) which are cool, but I'm not brave enough to start a fire. It's good to know I have the option if the heat goes out or something, though! I've moved at least 17 times during my life (I lost count after 12) and I've lived in several apartment complexes, and this is one of the best. Everyone is so kind and professional! I do wish we had some sort of get togethers so I could meet and mingle with my neighbors. I think they had them pre-covid but I'm not sure. The location is great too. It's quiet and close to plenty of stores and restaurants, and there's a Walgreens less than a minute away. It's open 24/7 so if I randomly need something, I can get it easily. Two Walmarts are within a ten minute drive, and St. Francis hospital is just up the road. I do think the apartment is a bit overpriced, but real estate is expensive everywhere in Tulsa/Broken Arrow and I was looking for safety and a good location close to work and my parents, and Courtyards provides that. My only real complaint is that they removed some dumpsters a few weeks after I moved in. Instead of several small dumpsters, we now have two or three large ones. I usually have to drive my trash over, particularly when it's too hot or cold. That's not a big deal, though. Overall, this is a great place to live, and I'd highly recommend this complex. read more

Lived here for a couple of years and it was a huge relief to leave. The apartments are built and repaired cheap. A cardboard box would be more secure and better at keeping out bugs than these apartments. The office staff is passive aggressive and deflects responsibility. I put in a maintenance request one time for my AC because it was sounding like a freight train. They came by and didn't fix it. I came home one day to my apartment filled with smoke and the AC unit burning up. The smoke detector wasn't going off even though they had just been in my apartment a week before to change it. My husband and I couldn't even sleep in there for days because of the smell of smoke. You will never hear the office staff apologize for you having to pay for their negligence. Same thing with a leak. They had to have my carpet repaired for a leak and a repair guy came in when I was in the shower. (not tony their normal grounds guy he was great but it was someone they oursourced). The point being that you will pay for things being cheap because you'll constantly need repairs and for them to have to come put bandaids on their cheap buildings. ROACHES GALORE. you will find roach after roach after roach. Your car definitely has a chance of getting broken into (mine did).I got incredibly sick living in these apartments. When I got my car broken into I started talking to my neighbors and found out the guy who lived there before me was doing very hardcore drugs. He had tons of people living with him in a one bedroom apartment & they were contaminating the place with filth and drug use. This place lacks integrity... all I can say. We broke our lease to leave this place. Worth every penny. read more

I wish I had something positive to say but how can I when I have been dealing with roaches in my apartment since I moved in earlier this year? It has been over 6 months of the office staff calling the exterminator to spray my apartment every Tuesday but the issue still remains. Sure it's nice that they tell an exterminator to come out and spray but if it's been over 6 months of him coming out and spraying and whatever he's doing is not working, you would think they'd realize his stuff probably doesn't work. Had I known that they had apartments that had roaches, I definitely would not have signed a lease with them. All that to say, renter beware. I would hate for you to get in the same situation as me, stuck in an apartment that has roaches and stuck to this stupid lease. read more

I just finished a year lease here. It was a lovely first apartment. The people in the office are so kind and helpful! Management is always fast in maintenance repairs. It is an older complex and that comes with it's fair share of quirks (older appliances + carpet...), but that could be said of many places. It's just about preferences. Overall a great experience for me and my roommate! read more

I love living in Courtyards! My apt is a 2nd floor apt with vaulted ceilings and is always quiet and peaceful to come home to. My favorite part is the friendly staff and management. They keep the whole property clean and are always so helpful and accommodating. The maintenance team responds within one day! Diverse apartment community too - families, older couples, singles, and plenty of pets! Can't think of any complaints! read more

I love living here! The office people are really helpful and nice--there was a miscommunication on my prorated rent, so it ended up getting auto drafted out of my checking and I wrote a check but the ladies in the office caught it and shredded the check for me so I didn't double pay. I had a couple of minor issues of things not working right when I first moved in and they were fixed the day after I told the office about them. My neighbors are also really friendly. In some places the walls/floors are kind of thin and you can hear everything your nieghbors doing or any step they take but here it's a lot quieter. Occasionally water runs (like a washer or dishwasher) but I never hear tv's or stereos or anything else like that. read more

I feel it's important to let others know how your experience was living in an environment that just doesn't work. Well, here it goes. I have been living here for six years. I started my own business and as anyone knows who has done so you just don't have time for anything but your business. I have had multiple neighbors living around me or upstairs of me. Few were respectful of your privacy and had good noise management. My last and current even though he says he will do better has no ability to be respectful of anyone's space or any concept of being quiet. This issue has been brought to management and their answer is MOVE. Like we have time to just get up and move. This organization does not handle issues that they should. All issues had to handled by myself only. Leadership in this organization is an absolute joke. There is no accountability whatsoever. All they want is your money. I have been broke into three times and once I was out of town and two neighbors called the office to let them know that my door was wide open and nothing was done to secure my apartment until I came into town when I found my apartment was removed of many valuable items. Management said they received no messages. Once again accountability issues. I had a car vandalized on Mothers Day. The car was spray painted with construction paint and the car had to be repainted which cost an additional $5,300 to repair. Once again, where is management? I find out that it was a member of the staff who did this ridiculous crime. Now, keep in mind this is only me. I have had countless neighbors who have been broke into. I am writing this review now because my neighbor upstairs has again kept me awake for most of the night as he does 5-6 nights of the week. It's impossible to survive under these conditions. So, you do the math and figure this one out for yourself. To make the long story short, I am moving out into a house soon and wish to put this nightmare of a dream behind me. Please don't misunderstand me. The people who work here are nice but that's also the problem. They have been taught to look out for the apartment complex and not the one people who actually feed them, the tenants. read more
