The CAKE, the smash cake, the cupcakes, the chocolate chip cookies and the macaroons- all tasted one more amazing than the other. In LA, you should know how big of a deal parking is. If you have parking, you are among the elite. Anyway, the cupcakes, I got a standard for a pack with chocolate, strawberry, mint chocolate, and red velvet. To me, these cupcakes seemed even smaller than the standard mini size but maybe I was just already a little butt hurt that I caved on my promise to myself not to fall into the mini fad. I have to say, the highlight of these has got to be the frosting. The strawberry and the chocolate frosting were exceptionally delicious. I would probably buy the frosting by itself if I could. A real home run there and I was definitely wishing that I had A full-size cupcake to enjoy the full-size frosting. The cakes themselves were nothing to write home about, but that could also be because it is nearly impossible to get more than two bites out of a mini cupcake, so maybe I just didn't get a chance to really experience it. All in all, these were pretty solid, and I will definitely return for that frosting alone. Unfortunately, I cannot give this place five stars because again, mini cupcakes are a total rip off. For four of them I paid almost $10. Four minis equal about a regular-size cupcake which on average is $4 or less. It would be more realistic for them to sell them at two dollars apiece, or a dollar per bite.

I asked for an update on the cake and if all the materials were correct so it can be just like the photo and it was met with "The cake will be ready September 11" which felt demeaning and rude. I was so confused as I went to pick up the cake and was sent to an address in the Beverly Hills Civic Center??? This is why I was confused as it does not seem it comes from the bakery located at the place on the map. I was really not liking the cake but there was nothing else that could be done at that point. After I asked if there were for sure the fresh strawberries and whipped cream like I requested and was told, "It's whatever you put in the text message. That's what I told my baker." I felt completely dismissed, ignored, and so upset that the quality was not up to par. Its as if the owner did not take any responsibility for how the cake looked and didn't seem to have a problem with the presentation of the cake. I thought the 5 star reviews and photos were good but then i experienced this company and I will never ever go with them again.
