So 20 minutes later, I'm at her place getting groomed. I was back in my car after another 20 minutes. She was fast. Which was surprising to me considering I haven't been waxed in a long time. This was my first time sugaring and it was better than I expected. Since I haven't waxed in awhile, I was pretty embarrassed. But Viktoria made me feel comfortable. This isn't a typical salon, but she keeps it clean. This is not a typical spa experience, and the location wasn't what I was expecting. Sugarland is more like going over to your girlfriend's house for some grooming help. I saw her changing her gloves when she needed to get more from the jar, so that was reassuring in terms of cleanliness. While I was changing, she already started removing the disposable liner and spraying down the table already. I was actually surprised at the smoothness of my skin afterwards. I guess I'm hooked on sugaring. It's more than I'd like to pay compared to regular waxing (eg. $50).... But I think sugaring is better for my skin. I will be requesting more appointments in the future.

The experience I had today really lived up to my expectations! My wax was with Molly (after I booked online without specifying anyone), who I found to be kind, professional, and engaging. It really felt like I was hanging out with a friend during my brazilian wax. Molly did an excellent job of putting me at ease and managing my pain expectations, having me inhale and exhale during the more painful portions. I'd never experienced the hard wax she uses before, and found it less painful than the traditional soft wax. The pain fades more quickly and has less of a sting as well. I made sure to book my next appointment when I checked out. Molly and I discussed waxing timelines based on my skin sensitivity level and hair type and she clearly wanted what was best and most effective for me. I highly recommend Molly's Wax Shop and Molly specifically, but from the other reviews it sounds like Arianna is just as talented! Either way you really can't go wrong.

She essentially calmed me down. Which was awesome. The wax shop is very inviting and quaint, I didn't feel like I was in chain establishment in a sense it felt like home. She was very nice. The room she does her waxing in is spacious but not intimidating. It was very clean and well organized which I loved. She explained everything that she would be doing from beginning to end our conversation was easy and helpful, she help me get through the pain .....FYI I'm a screamer lol! I ended my appt by booking another one because she was just that great. I also felt that her pricing was very reasonable. I have been getting Brazilian sugaring treatments for about 7 months now since relocating to…read moreRaleigh. Brazilian sugaring is like waxing, but pulls at your skin less than waxing does. instead of using wax, Brazilian sugaring involves a natural sugar paste that is spread over the area where you want hair removed and pulled from the root. Recently I became unhappy with my esthetician's service in Cary and decided to research local spas who offer Brazilian sugaring as a service. For this service and the price tag attached I should feel confident and be satisfied while in swimwear. I stumbled upon Indulgence on Yelp and then read all the raving reviews about Yvonda on Google. Not only does she offer sugaring but she is a Jill of all trades with permanent makeup, facials etc. Upon arrival I found Yvonda down to earth, professional and personable. I really enjoyed my first session more than I imagined. Yvonda sugars so much gentler than who I had been seeing previously and she is so quick !! We had so many laughs and she shared a wealth of knowledge about skincare. She provided so much education on skin, addressed issues I have been having with my skin and provided advice and solutions. Coming here is a total spa experience. Women focus a lot on the skin we show everyday but not on the skin downstairs! Hollywood needs treatment and hydration also ladies. I originally requested a jelly mask after sugaring and she recommended the soothing mask. It felt amazing. When I got up from her table I felt like a new woman ! She gave an adorable after care bag with instructions. I had not received any of this care at my sugaring spa previously. I can't wait to come again. Thanks Yvonda ! You're a pro at this !
