Accentz is located on San Vicente but behind one of the hair salons. It's in the courtyard next to SoCal Hot yoga. There's frequently balloons leading the way and always ushers when there's a Brentwood event. It's truly a hidden gem of the city! This place is very affordable - even for Brentwood. Most of the outfits run from $10 - $40 and the jewelry from $10 - $60. There's even a $10 rack with cute pieces! My favorite outfits have come from Accentz and I'm here about a couple times a year. This is a lot considering I never go shopping. I highly recommend Accentz for your next shopping spree or if you're trying to find someone a cute gift! The fashion run all ages - not geared towards one age demographic. I'll definitely be back :)

Treehaus, on the other hand, had a ton of pieces that I've never seen before, either in Los Angeles or elsewhere. This shop carries a couple lines of interesting jewelry collections (I particularly liked the more industrial/brutalist of them), a range of adult and baby clothes and an interesting and eclectic line of eye wear. While the adult clothing skews toward femme, I would describe many of them as unisex, which fits the cool queer/feminist vibe of the shop. There were a lot of cool housewares that, again, I've never seen before. These range from the practical (metal soap dishes) to the purely aesthetic (fun art prints of famous spots in LA.) Lots of retro designs can be found to decorate your living space. Other things I really enjoyed: a human bone and organ ink stamp collection, fun notebooks and adorable stuffed animals. And of course, they had a great collection of books and cards. Prices were on par for quality. It's very middle of the road for a gift shop or boutique. The clerks on duty were friendly and personable. I would definitely have felt comfortable going to them with questions. I will definitely return the next time I'm shopping for a friend.

I came in today to utilize it but it apparently it went back to the original owner's email and she inadvertently purchased something else with it. It just irks me that there isn't a more reliable way to manage these credits for these particular situations since I'm sure many people come here to gift items from these independent stores.

It's not a snooty vibe, which one might see at other boutiques, it's refreshingly down to earth and friendly, with a *million different items I'd like to buy for others (and a few for myself.) It was a genuine pleasure to find this place after having moved to the immediate area, just when I needed to find such a place. *Perhaps slightly less than an actual million items, I didn't count.
