Worse than I could imagine! I bought 36 macaroons for MY WEDDING!! $90 later I get the most awful macaroons i've ever seen. I could make something better. I asked for white coconut flavored macaroons and this is what I got. I will insert my inspo pic and my final result. Over priced and terrible outcome.
My fiance (at the time) and I had scheduled a taste testing for our wedding cake and were surprised at the (huge) portions given. We each got a half cupcake of each flavor we tried...I believe it was 4 or 5. And then a tablespoon each of the various filling flavor combinations of interest. All the cupcakes were in various stages of being very dry. I believe our taste testing was scheduled outside their regular operating hours so we thought maybe we were just given leftover inventory that would have otherwise been on their way out. The only flavor that wasn't dry looked like a slice of pound cake, and it was the almond cake - and it was incredibly moist. I was worried about the inconsistency from the tasting, but in the end we ordered the 3-tier vanilla mousse almond cake. There have been some instances that communication (via email) was delayed and I started to question their ability to fulfill my order. I was ready to give them my money to secure our date but I felt like I was hounding them so I could pay initially. Kristen & Tim (assuming it's a wife and husband business) make a great team though! They were empathetic and understanding when we suddenly had to change our venue quite a distance due to an extenuating circumstance. As our wedding date quickly approached, I've sent off my vision/inspiration/theme/ colors to get a visual of what to expect and Kristin did not disappoint! She perfectly illustrated our desired style/look on the requested mockup. And the final result of the actual cake was beautifully and deliciously executed! We plan on returning for our one-year anniversary!
Sugar & Slice was definitely the best choice we could have made for our wedding cake. Like the review before me, their cakes are so moist and delicious, and their pricing is incredibly reasonable. We went with the mandarin orange cake and pineapple filling for one tier, and almond cake with cherry filling for the other. One of my few regrets the day of is that, because of timing (the cake came out during dancing), quite a few people missed out on cake. My husband and I only got the mandarin orange on the day of (which luckily was our favorite flavor), but we did get to bring him a big chunk of it which was great for our day after party. Tim was also incredibly nice and easy to work with. I can't recommend them enough!
Finally stopped in! I only pass this place every day. The guy that waited on my friend and I was so sweet, it was a pleasure having him wait on us. Asked about pies for Thanksgiving and he told us they run about $16-18. How cheap! The butter cake was phenomenal. I loved it so much, I had to look up a recipe. Ate all three treats within a few hours, even after being full from breakfast. I couldn't stop!!!! I would definitely go back. I loved everything about this place.
I was in the area of Sugar & Slice Bakery so I decided to stop in and purchase some cupcakes. With so many people self quarantining and using social distancing I thought that it would be nice to pick up some special treats for others. The store was empty and the display case was somewhat limited. I was hoping that it was because they were baking less and not because they are letting the inventory run out in fear of mandatory closings. I purchased Boston Cream, strawberry and chocolate Oreo. The Boston Cream was a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. No cream was in the center and the cupcake was incredibly dry. It taste super stale and was hugely disappointing. The strawberry cupcake had amazing frosting but again the cake horribly dry and stale tasting. Thankfully the chocolate Oreo cupcake was less dry and somewhat edible.
We took our son on a trip to LEGOLAND for his birthday, and decided on our drive down that we should try to have a cake made for him. This bakery stood out to me most based off the pictures on their facebook and website. I gave them less than 48 hour notice with this cake but they did an AMAZING JOB! I was definitely impressed with their work! The cake was so moist and delicious. The buttercream was definitely on the sweeter side for me, but the birthday boy had no complaints! I wish we lived in the area to be able to order from them again!
Terrible terrible experience I paid $400 for my sons cake it was his 1st birthday I wanted everything to be perfect for his big day.. I went to pick up his cake an the front of the cake looked great I asked to see the rest of it she said she can't cuz it was in a box already an ready to go. I said fine I came home looked at the cake an everything was wrong! I ordered a chocolate cake with strawberries and they was barely any strawberries and the filling tasted terrible there was holes in the cake an bunch of other things and they would not offer me atleast half of my money back that I had spend saying it is my fault an "if I wanted extra strawberries I should of asked" I also wanted the number 1 to be on the cake an it was not there
Very happy with our cake! The owner designed a gorgeous New Years engagement Party round cake that went perfectly with the party theme! Gorgeous presentation and everyone said how amazing it tasted!! They even delivered it a block away to our party! Making one less thing stressful for us to do on the day of the party! Very nice people :-) we will use them again!!
We just went for a cake tasting and Kristin and Tim (the owners) were SO warm and accommodating! They did an excellent job customizing the flavors and fillings to our liking - seems like they can make pretty much any cake. The store has a lot of cupcake flavors to choose from. Tiramisu and carrot cake flavors are amazing.
This is my go to for any sweets!! We got our kid's wedding cake from here and it was amazing. The color matching and the flavor were perfect. My youngest son loves going there for cupcakes. I recently ordered our thanksgiving desserts and I know I WONT be disappointed. Totally recommend this place!!!!
The best ever!! On 09/01/18 they delivered a custom cake to my husbands surprise party at Jensen's! ALL guest raved at the flavor of their cake. I ordered vanilla with buttercream frosting with raspberry filling!! It was amazing I'm craving it now. They were great to deal with. Busy but worth waiting your turn to order!! All transactions were done over the phone too. Look at the cute picture of the cake they made.
Love these folks. We always use them for our parties and they never disappoint. Ordered a week ahead and all was ready for pickup as promised. We generally do cakes but this time we opted for a selection of cupcakes. This worked out perfectly. The cupcakes were a real hit and super yummy! read more

Amazing Cakes, Cookies & Customer service! Kristin is so accommodating & awesome to work with! The cakes we've ordered from her are always Deeeeelllicious & moist! I always get a few cookies to-go & I even purchased some of the peanut butter dog cookies. My pup, Chester loves those!! I give Kristin & Sugar & Slice Bakery 5-stars All-the-way!! Absolutely amazing! Great location, the taste of their treats were amazing! Wish we lived closer, I would definitely visit weekly if not daily very friendly & awesome owners! They are very talented and take pride in their work! Can't wait to stop in again! read more

Horrible service and rude rude rude owners. My cake looked nothing like what I ordered and then I expressed it to the owner and she was so rude and nasty to me. I had another experience with the husband --i assume it's her husband--and he was rude to me to. I will never as long as I live order from this bakery. I'll attach what I ordered versus what I got. This bakery sucks. I would definitely not recommend. Instead of a refund, she offered to redo the cake and it will take 2 to 3 hours which I don't have time for that. Or I can get a credit towards a cake in the future. I will never order from them so that would be a waste. What a horrible company. She treated me as if we were friends rather than doing business. I don't know this woman, Kristen the owner and the way she was talking to me was as if we bumped into each other on the street. What an angry woman. If they couldn't do it she should've just said that instead of trying to get money from people and doing a horrible job. I'm so disgusted. If you want to leave upset then order from this bakery. read more
