Mary's Meadow was recommended to her and our whole family is so grateful she had access to the care there. The staff genuinely care and are so kind, professional, knowledgable, and helpful. They go above and beyond in many ways, including giving my mom uplifting words of encouragement and helping her stay positive. Also, all the meals are hand-made and nutritious. We were all relieved my mom got the nutritional support and oversight she did while there. She regained a lot of strength from the food, which was always delicious and delivered on time. The whole place is clean and comfortable. There are doctors, nurses, and other caregiving professionals (e.g., physical therapists, nutritionists, etc.) on hand. It saddened me to have to write this my sister struggled with health issues and had many stays at…read moreMeadowbrook. I did grow fond of some of the nursing staff but at times had their hands tied. Over the past year I have seen the decline in the facility. She was placed in hospice and thought she should still have some extra care to be sure she was mentally and physically comfortable. The attitude was one of basically why try to do anything she is dying anyway. One day I found her hunched over in a wheelchair with a bathrobe and no clothes on. It was very sad. I then sent her to the hospital so she could get comfortable. The hospital assumed the end wasn't near and they sent her back to Meadow Brook. With in two hours she had passed. It was very confusing, since the death certificate indicated she suffered for hours? So why wasn't I called if they thought she was declining however the death certificate conflicted what I was told by the nursing staff. I made multiple calls asking to correct the death certificate to indicated she has a chronic illness. I begged them to fix it letting them know that she couldn't be put to rest until this was resolved. Dr. Singh ignore this even the funeral director called to try to help still nothing. Unfortunately this fell on deaf ears. My sister sat at the funeral home for two and a half weeks. I finally had to let it go so she and I could rest.

The patient was loud obnoxious and not letting the staff and owner help her. I am absolutely amazed at how calmly the staff was and the owner to talk this patient down and have her continue with her visit. This was a first for me. The office is very spacious, clean, with private rooms and many different types of equipment that I only took pictures of because I myself have never used them. The staff is extremely patient, respectful and go above and beyond for their patients. I have another apt Friday in their Southwick office.

I've received excellent PT years ago, so the bar is set high. I'm happy to say this experience has been every bit as great! Its location on Enfield Street/Route 5 is convenient (super convenient for me as the other office sharing the building is my podiatrist). Live Every Day has a bright, clean space, and the receptionists (2) are very friendly and welcoming. My physio is Christiana, and she is wonderful! She's professional, explaining the why & how of every part of my treatment plan. Her knowledge is vast, and she is just such a nice person who is genuinely helping me move, stretch, realign, and have less pain. But I've also noticed other PTs with their clients, and this place is full of friendly professionals. I highly recommend Live Every Day!

In my third time training for a marathon, I unfortunately did something to my hip/butt as I was…read moreramping up miles. It was a huge bummer, and I was worried. After getting the prescription for physical therapy at UConn, I spent a bit of time trying to find a place that would be able to take me for physical therapy quickly. I called around and finally was told by a receptionist at another HHRN location that the Bloomfield location relatively less busy, so I gave them a call, and they had an opening a week out. Whew. After the first visit, it was easy to schedule convenient sessions. I ultimately had six sessions with Brian over the course of 3 weeks. Brian has a pretty chill demeanor and was helpful in my understanding of why I was feeling the discomfort I did. I appreciated that deeper understanding and ultimately felt better - mentally and physically - through my sessions here. I was ultimately able to complete my race practically pain free, and it would not have been possible without Brian's instruction and expertise.
