I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Tita's Tailoring. If I could give zero stars I…read morewould. I brought in three items (a scarf, a sweatshirt, and a pair of pajamas) to be embroidered for my honeymoon. I was very specific about the details--monogram placement, font, and even requested that my name be done in all lowercase. Unfortunately, every item was done incorrectly. The monogram on the scarf was placed upside down (so when worn, it read incorrectly), and both the sweatshirt and pajamas were embroidered in the wrong font and not in lowercase as requested. When I brought this to their attention, I was told the original items could not be corrected and would need to be replaced and re-embroidered. To their credit, they agreed to repurchase the items. However, when I returned to pick them up, none of the items had been embroidered at all--and the pajamas provided were not even the correct pair. At that point, I requested a refund for the embroidery services I never received. I was told the employee present was unable to process a refund. I had to insist on getting something in writing stating that I would be refunded, but I have little confidence this will actually happen. I have not received a phone call, email, or any other communication to try to rectify the issue or send a refund. I've since filed a dispute with my bank. Between the repeated errors, lack of attention to detail, and inability to resolve the issue properly, this was an incredibly frustrating experience--especially given that these items were meant for a special occasion. I would not recommend this business based on my experience. The level of inaccuracy and lack of follow-through here is simply unacceptable.

I have been going to Caryn for several years now, schlepping my new seasonal additions to her every six months or so. Lace pants, lined skirts and dresses--you name it. Absolutely love this place! The people inside are so nice and friendly!…read more I had purchased a t-shirt at thrift store, and even though I loved the band that was on said shirt. It was a few sizes too big, but I got it because it seemed like a gem. I knew I wanted to get it tailored and trimmed to fit my body a bit better, so it would not fit like a flowy night gown. So I Googled what tailors were close by, and which had ease of parking. I found Franks which is a good less than five minute drive away from my house, and it's in a nice big lot. I called and asked if they tailor t-shirts they said yes and I would bring it in tomorrow. The next day. I was greeted by this amazingly cheerful woman who basically gave me the run down as I had never used a tailor before. She had me try the shirt on and stand in front of a mirror. She sized it up, and told me of a more affordable option for trimming the shirt, and the more expensive one. I just wanted the shirt to not be as baggy as it was on me, so I did what would be best, and went with the cost effective one. Total cost was $28 & it's cash or check only on jobs like this. Only cards if you're tailoring suits. Said it would take a few days to do and we agreed to pick up the shirt on Monday afternoon, (this was on Thursday.) I had work Friday and Saturday. I got a call the following day and said it was ready. I had informed the person on the phone, I had work until 5PM, which by then they would be closed. So I said I would definitely be there on Monday to pick it up. I got there today and the guy working there was extremely kind and welcoming. Handed me the shirt and had me try it on. It fit so much better than before! Not too loose and not too constricting! Love it! He rang me up and it was a very pleasant interaction! Seems like an old fashioned mom and pop place. That is very appreciative of everyone that walks into their shop. Very awesome place. I'm glad I chose Franks to get a cool thrift shop find tailored! I'm also glad I can finally wear this cool power metal shirt when I'm out and about! Thank you, Franks!
