First the office staff are very professional and accommodating, next the clinic staff who takes your vitals are professional and ensure they use universal precautions to ensure there are no cross contamination from patient to patient. This is a biggie for me when it comes to doctor offices. Last, Dr. Rishi Majithia. This is my fourth appointment seeing him. I was recommended to him by my daughter in law who is a medical professional. I was initially very skeptical because doctors now days care more about money than the care they provide. Dr. Majithia, my first appointment he listened to my complaints and concerns, gave his feed back, made slight recommendations and genuinely seem as if he cared. By my second appointment he actually was able to repeat some of the concerns from the previous appt and made excellent recommendation. This let me know he actually was listening and taking appropriate notes the first appointment. By my third appointment he addressed all my medical concerns, started me on new meds which we both agreed, made legitimate realistic goals for me to follow and seemed as if he really cared about my well being. Again he was able to recite all my previous complaints from the past appointments. ((He really Listens). Today, I had my fourth appt. I can now say I have found a provider who is knowledgeable, competent, up to date with society and current medical trends. Knowledgeable of Diabetes, and is genuinely concerned about his patients. Seems he has a passion for his profession. When he took his Oath to be a doctor to care for patients he did it because he wanted to see a change in people and he care about people's health. If your looking for a doctor who cares about his patient's, current on medical knowledge, doesn't rush you during appointments, listens, there is no need to go further. So, here is my honest feedback and review. It was nearly impossible to get an appointment. After weeks of calling and leaving messages my primary physician called and asked why I hadn't been seen. I let them know that I had left several messages with no return phone call. It was only after they reached out that I got an appointment, however, it wasn't directly with Foothills Pain Management...my doctor literally stayed on the line so that they could facilitate the appointment. I went to my appointment and upon arriving, neither person at the reception desk bothered to even acknowledge my presence. I said "excuse me" and was met with a raised hand. I signed in and sat down. The initial appointment was fine and a treatment plan with injections in both my hip and lower back were decided upon. I returned at my appointment time. Again, I found the front office staff to be incredibly dismissive and rude. I was brought back to the initial exam room at which point the nurse got out a hep lock for an IV. I asked what it was for and she said it was for the sedation. I told her that I was pretty sure I wasn't supposed to be sedated for my procedure and even mentioned that it mentioned on my paperwork (which she now had) that I didn't need a driver after my procedure. She said I needed to save all of my questions for the doctor and placed the needle in my arm. I went to the room for the procedure and the doctor immediately mentioned that I was not to be sedated. I had a hep lock in my arm for absolutely no reason...and it was left there. The injection in the hip was extremely painful and I did yelp upon placement. I was told to be quite as there were other patients in the office. I expected the second injection to be given and was told that would be a separate appointment, though I understood that both would be done the same day. I was taken to a waiting area and only then was the unnecessary IV line taken out. The nurse that took it out was incredibly apologetic, but no one else seem concerned. While I was in the waiting room, I heard one nurse talk to the one that placed my IV about the "patient she accidentally put the IV in" and how that couldn't happen again due to the liability. I was told that I could leave and that I needed to make an additional appointment (with an additional co-pay) for my other injection. I expected a call from their office apologizing for the issue, but never heard from them. In fact, I placed additional calls to follow up and see what options were moving forward, however, I never heard from them...at all. If you have a choice, please don't go to this facility. My experienced sucked and was honestly a bit traumatic, as I was made to feel like I did something wrong, despite being the patient. It is crazy to me that they never followed up with me and didn't bother to return calls even though my treatment plan called for multiple injections in two different locations. There seemed to be a lack of caring in the office and I still wonder if I shouldn't have pushed the issue of their incompetence or filed a report at the time services were rendered.

I was having excruciating back pain (while sitting, an 8/10 pain) and every pain killer prescribed to me to date was doing nothing to help. 1. His office is clean and easily accessible. At this point, I was in a wheelchair. The other pain management dr I was seeing was barely accessible. 2. Dr. Nassiri is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has a medical scribe document conversations to ensure accuracy. He reviewed my MRI and his assessment was exactly what I had heard from other doctors and he spent a lot of time answering all questions I had. 3. I was very unhappy with the orthopedic doctor I was seeing. He recommended a world class orthopedic surgeon, who I went to and had perform my surgery (L4/L5 microdiscectomy). 4. He and his team answer emails quickly! No need to call in. 5. While he was talking about this great doctor, his front desk person overhead this portion and when I walkld out the door, she had a document printed with contact details and other info I needed. 6. He put me on a specific regiment that WORKED (with gapapentin). Within 2 weeks, I could walk and the pain got down to levels where I could sleep. I then foolishly tried to reduce them and a lot of pain came back. That was my bad. Listen to him and follow the regiment. I had surgery in August 2023 (Thank you, Dr. Sodha!!) and am PAIN FREE (maybe a 1/10 at my worst). I really credit Dr. Nassiri and his fantastic staff with getting the best medical care available.
