For those people giving Dr. poor reviews because they have to sometimes wait long hours, please note that unpredictable situations arise daily and that will determine how the day unfolds. With that said, if you have an appointment for follow-up blood work and a toddler with a cough and high fever comes in.......it is not rocket science, they will likely take precedence. Maybe some of you have never visited an emergency room. Same concept! I too have experienced waiting hours to be seen with an appointment. Instead of getting worked up about, I understand that this is how it is at times and par for the course. All patients, and there are a lot, will get the same great service I get ....and THAT TAKES TIME. Prior to meeting Dr., in my previous 20 years of seeing other doctors, I have never had a Dr. assess me for more than 3-5 minutes and then send me off; I thought that was the norm. I say all of this because we have a high level of respect and praise for Dr. He has taken such excellent care of my husband and I, as if we were family. He and his staff always go above and beyond/go the extra mile to rule out a certain concern or illness and take whatever extra steps necessary for the issue at hand. I have personally experienced, and have also seen with other patients, where the staff work into their lunch hours to ensure all patients are taken care of. We know we are in great hands with Dr. So much so that when our insurance changed last year and tripled in cost, to continue with the same insurance that Dr. accepts, we discussed our options and finances in great length. We opted that is well worth the extra expense to continue receiving priceless, top-notch care (with no regrets). I hope you read this Dr. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being the one-in-a billion Dr. you are. We are so blessed to have you.

Approximately a year ago, my care was abruptly discontinued following a front-desk interaction that was handled in a dismissive and condescending manner. There was no meaningful attempt to address concerns or de-escalate the situation--just a termination letter. My daughter remained a patient. More recently, we requested a simple letter confirming our daughter's documented asthma diagnosis. We were told it would cost $50 for a basic note stating a known medical condition. When we asked reasonable questions about the fee, the response was not professional--it was defensive and rude. This is not about whether an office can charge for paperwork. It is about how patients and families are treated when seeking straightforward documentation tied to their child's health. Healthcare practices should prioritize patient care, communication, and professionalism. Unfortunately, our experience reflected the opposite: unnecessary friction, dismissive tone, and a lack of respect toward a concerned parent. We will be moving on. Families deserve better.

Through the years our insurance has changed, and now we attempted to return to him, as we have in the past when our insurance has covered his office again. With PPO insurance there is no co-pay, and with a wellness visit/annual exam there is definitely no charge. Covered at 100%. The office staff insisted there was a $15 fee to "re-establish" service. My husband reluctantly paid and then called me to verify. Once explaining there should not be a fee, he asked to be refunded. Only to realize they ran the card for $75! He then demanded a refund. The office staff argued with him that she told him the correct amount and he didn't listen. Once speaking with the office manager they reluctantly refunded the $75 but then told him he was no longer a patient at this office. We got a certified letter in the mail days letter stating he could no longer be a patient. It was rude, inconvenient and entitled of the office staff! I've never heard/seen a business in customer service argue at the counter that the person didn't listen correctly...especially when it comes to payment or someone's money. What a shame for Dr. Brown's office. He's a good man, and a great doctor. TERRIBLE FRONT OFFICE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has zero control of her staff. Wait times are a joke for everything. Got an appointment at 9? Best believe you'll be there for over an hour waiting. Need a referral for a specialist? Good luck with that. Nickel and dimes you for any sort of form...need a dr note for school or work? That'll cost you $10. Need a medical form filled out for the DMV? That'll cost you $15. Seriously do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
