I have extreme anxiety related to dental procedures including cleanings due to sensitive gums. Unfortunately, I didn't have a pleasant first time experience with the hygienist that day & even felt ashamed by her remarks. I wish there was more caring bedside manners especially coming in as a new patient & informing her of personal struggles but I decided to come back for a second appointment to fix other dental issues. The assistant that day was very kind and even noticed when I would tense up. She immediately reassured me and encouraged me to relax as best as I can. It was so helpful and I truly appreciated it. Dr. Metwali was informative, answered questions without rushing, and made the procedures go smoothly. I didn't have any post procedures issues besides the expected soreness from local injections. I plan on continuing as a patient but will better advocate for myself.

The dentists here are always matter of fact and bluntly tell you the truth. I appreciate their honesty and helpful recommendations and thankful they don't give me the run around (like every other dentist I've been to prior to coming here). They don't push me into treatments (that are usually costly) but give me all the options clearly and factually. I've had cleanings, x-rays, and fillings done here and every experience has been pleasant and efficient. For cleanings, the dental hygients are always extremely thorough, friendly, and full of recommendations. My appointments are always honored on time and the parking lot has plenty of spots available. This is the first dental practice I don't mind coming to (and I've been to many in my 40 years of life living in different cities).

After several readings on where to locate the implant ; Dr. Younan used a free hand method with the skill of Michelangelo or Leonardo de Vince. Dr. Younan was able to save fees by not having to use Zombie cadaver tissue for the implant. Also , Andrew assisted the procedure , and made me feel very comfortable. I regret not having…read moreregarded all the negative reviews, which seem to follow a pattern and was true to my experience as well: very long wait time, no actual cleaning done on the first visit (which plenty of other dental practices manage to do no problem), trying to upsell you on expensive procedures not covered by insurance with an absolute refusal to do a standard cleaning that is covered by insurance. I will start by saying that the staff were certainly sweet and likeable (although I could have done without the casual chatty remarks about my advanced pregnancy, some unsolicited/random banter about how I must have actually wanted a girl instead of a boy and how I better not start contracting on the exam chair. I know it's just friendly banter and they mean well but it's really not professional or necessary). However, as the visit progressed it became clear that this corporate dental office is trying their darnedest to upsell you. They told me I needed an extra deep cleaning that would cost $500 out of pocket, which I was skeptical of, but considered might be the case because pregnancy does increase your risk of gum disease. But when my husband walked out with a similar set of recommendations and an anticipated bill of $600 out of pocket, the alarm bells immediately went off. We found it strange because the recommendation just doesn't add up given our regular habits and the sum of what varied other dental professionals have recommended each of us in the past--never anything like this. Again, look through the other reviews. Our experience is not unique. When we both insisted that we wished to simply have the regular level of cleaning--and said that the medical provider should feel free to document that as patients, we opted against their medical advice and requested the standard level of routine cleaning covered by our insurance--we were given a number of flimsy excuses, including the suggestion that the dentist who also saw me that day did not have the discretion to overrule her dental hygienist's recommendations, which is obviously nonsense. Anyway, we will not be returning and it's really frustrating to feel that we completely wasted 2 to 3 hours of our time.

Overall, I was 'done' at around 12:30 but it was unclear to me that they wouldn't do the basic cleaning until the receptionist broke the news to me. Reading other one-star reviews, this seems to be a pattern. I think they're nice, but probably have a lot of pressure to squeeze what they can out of insurance. I even talked to the dental hygienist, saying I'd rather get the cleaning covered by insurance ASAP since my wife and I are expecting a baby soon and I was already slightly overdue for my cleaning (~7 months) but they preferred to not give me care if they couldn't extract all the money they could from it.
