We ordered a very popular Chinese meat dish 夫妻肺片 abats façon couple marié (posted photo from menu) and got a plate full of diced onions and about a fingers size of meat. When we asked to speak to the chef/owner, he was extremely rude and brusque about it, refusing to even look us in the eye. We received absolutely horrible treatment for simply asking if there had been a mistake. Also as mentioned in other reviews, servings were really small. They're not suited for families, they're more appropriate for 2-3 people. Another huge problem was that flavors were nonexistent. This was especially unexpected as this restaurant proclaims itself to be Szechuan style, which is known for being extremely flavorful and spicy. Luckily there are plenty of other excellent Chinese restaurants in the area! Do yourself a favor and don't risk it with Saveurs de Chengdu.

The waitress is super nice and was happy to converse with me in my broken mandarin! I'm a native Cantonese speaker so it was nice to get some mandarin practice in. She also speaks some french, so no worries if you can't speak chinese! The menu is also in English, French, and Chinese so it's easy to work with.
